As an Alekhine player I welcome this video and hope more players play 3. Nc3. Frankly it’s an underused line and I was getting bored of smashing up cowards who play 2. Nc3 and people who wander into the four pawns with no idea of what they’re doing 😉
Thanks man! Its a good thing to get compliments by Alekhine players!
Ja moram da kažem da sam opsednut šahom a vama hvala Gospodine Miodraže, i svaka vam čast. Zdravlje i sreća da vas prati kroz čitav život vas i vašu porodicu, od srca. :)
Hvala Nenade takodje! Naucite ove linije i uzivajte pobedjujuci druge 💪💪💪
Excellent analysis super!! I was studing this system many days😀😀😀
I'm so glad I found your channel, this is so instructive!!
Only educational! 💪
Excellent analysis and game knowledge, like many lectures in one. Bravo, Mio.
Thanks Theo my dear friend!
Thank you!
Great stuff! Big thanks for mentioning here my friend GM Vladimir Baklan. As another model game: GM Baklan vs GM Miroshnichenko (1999) in line 1.e4 Nf6 2.e5 Nd5 3.Nc3 Nxc3 4.bxc3 d5
Thank you on donation Oleksandr! I appreciate it! Baklan is a great GM and knew his tricky opening stuff very much, also great as tactician
Fantastic as always - thank you Mio.
Thanks Maksim 👍
Great analysis. I looked because I knew that my opponent has played Alekhine for years and I have very rarely seen it. I won the game!
That’s what I like to hear! Cheers! 🍻
I'm an alekhine player and never felt really confident playing against 3. Nc3.
That's why I checked this out, to know what white usually aims for. Very instructive and wellmade video. Thanks a lot.
Thanks Sam
I cant belive your Channel has only 4k subs. Its such a great and amazinly good educational channel... You deserve at least 100k! That's one of the reasons i share It with my friends
Thanks for kind words and sharing! 🥂
Thank you for the great content!
i need more ideas like knight g5 when light bishop is closed
Your videos are amazing! Makes me want to play chess again! You should publish a book with all the great opening choices! One of my last books is Gambiteer. But your choices are better! Thanks for uploading great content butcher!
I am about to release my first book ever “Butcher the Sicilian” on Chessable (in maximum 7-10 days from now) and you should buy it just like most of subscribers here, to check what the real content is and support Big Mio 💪😉
Great analysis like always Big Mio! Can’t wait to try this one. Alekhine’ s defense has been really annoying me lately!
Lets hope for lots of wins there pal! 💪
1.e4 Nf6 2.e5 Nd5 3.Nc3 if black plays 3...e6 what is the most confortable way to play with white ?
I don't play 1. e4 so I will never need this, but this is an excellent video :D
😂😂😂
And what about 3...e6, the 2nd most popular response? 4.Nxd5 most common move and the game structure is slightly different from examples shown in the video and can't tranpose to 4...e6 section
What would you recommend against Alekhine's 3...e6, first played in Saemisch, F-Alekhine, A /1921? This is the line I believe Timothy Taylor recommended in his Alekhine repertoire book for Everyman Chess many years ago. It certainly leads to very different types of structures.
6:56 could've added that if Ng5 cxd4 you take the h pawn and when they move the bishop lets say to e7 you play cxd4 Nxd4 Qg4!, and white is much better practically speaking
Not winaver but french maccuchen variation the system u r recommending after black goes for e6. Tank u anyway
Just curious has making these videos help your chess ? The series were your talking about crushing/refuting etc... Are extremely convincing!
Of course Jay!
Thanks a lot for another excellent video! One question: How about if Black plays 3... e6 (instead of 3....Nxc3 or 3.....Nb6)? What will be the basic approach from White's side then? Thanks a lot!
Take Peter, plays d4, Nf3 and Bd3 and launch the kingside attack!
@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial Thanks a lot!
I have always played this against alekhine def. I didn't study it. Just played it and won so never bothered to learn it for rare opening. What about after Nc3 black plays c6
Watch the video 😉
I understand that there is not chance to introduce all line in short video, but sometimes i'm a little bit surprise when i check your variations on the CPU and after your comment "it's only move for oponent" etc. I see two logic continuation (sometimes even better). For example after a4 (in variations when Knight goes to b6) there is no only a6 for black, but also Bg4 or Bf5. :) But ofc - thank you for your effort.
Great for you, thank you for your efforts 😂
Why play e6 instead of Bg4? E6 blocks your bishop. The move e6 make non sense.
Hi Mio congratulations on your new course also wanted to advise you to delete the video you released 7 yrs ago re same opening
Let them exist, then everyone can see that even these openings in Mio’s kitchen evolve!
@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial i’m a d4 player but i watched the videos and feel that for low rated players like me your two videos are more than enough …your whole channel should be courses..i’ve looked at the d4 repertoire its awesome but too hard to apply :) for me of course..thank you so much Mio for your generosity
