    Waiting on my permission slip/tax stamp from the atf. I purchased the Armageddon the day i paid for the suppressor. I did my research and just like your review it was the best.

    I run Suppressor Co. works great for gem tech, I bought 6” for 5” suppressor though and zip tied end. I’ll put 250 rounds down and can still grab suppressor. With that said, funny you pointed out the metal brackets. I just got home from range. I have a small burn on finger and couldn’t figure out where it came from. As you pointed out brackets, I looked at finger and said “hmm, well would you look at that” hahahaha

    Burn proof gear makes the best cover. Expensive but by far the best.

    I have 3 suppressors that I bought a ton of different covers for, the Armageddon by far are my favorite but as you stated no matter what I do I can't get them to stay on, they always walk themselves off. Honestly now I just run no covers and happy without a cover. Thought I have seen wekatech silicone covers that I might give a try.

      You’re not a long range shooter are ya? After 3 shots without a suppressor cover good luck seeing a target 400+ yards

      @@kaden1499 Exactly what led me down this rabbit hole. Tried doing some load development a few days ago with my AR-10 and I had to take 10 or so minutes between strings.
      It's good mirage training though!

    • @kaden1499

      @@Hsnydmay be good training, but if the covers always on the suppressor you won’t need it. Anyone can wait between shots to decrease mirage but sometimes you cannot wait for mirage to go away due to target leaving, ect.

      I mainly meant it as training for fighting a mirage and still being able to hit your mark. I actually just ordered a burn-proof gear cover from Dead Air for my Sandman-S. Was able to get it for 20% off too!

    I've never tried a supressor cover before actually. I've wanted to try one but I run my Dead Air Sandman S under my rails so a cover wouldn't really work as far as clearance. Good video as usual Big J 🇺🇸

  • @oscarbear7498
    @oscarbear7498 Рік тому

    does the over reduce the cooldown speed of the suppressor, I am thinking of a negative to having a cover, such as longer wait times, to have it cool off, vs not keeping it covered

    • @BigJohnsonGG
      @BigJohnsonGG  Рік тому +1

      It does keep it warmer. However after you shoot you can then pull it back to let it cool.

    Can titanium cans handle the additional heat that’s trapped for semi-auto 300 BLK subsonic? I wasn’t sure if the baffles will erode faster.
