Incredible self control. Chris Rock look offstage and said something like _"I could..."_ , like he already had a joke to rip into Will Smith for hitting him. You know he was going to throw more jabs at Will Smith. He would've roasted Will Smith for a solid 10 minutes.

Everyone focused on the slap, barely speaking about the fact that the “good guy, no profanity” Will Smith used the f word on live television and in an auditorium of his peers at the Oscars. He used it TWICE. And he didn’t even apologize to Rock when he got up there! I mean, the narcissism is staggering. In a comparison of hypocrisy only, it’s similar to the vanilla characters and previous squeaky clean public persona “played” by Bill Cosby (where he would actually and publicly condemn comics that used profanity) vs. who he was revealed to be in reality. We have all born witness to the self destruction of Smith’s career and legacy. Sad. Very sad indeed.

So, lets say, an upset person is storming the stage. A person that Chris has known for 25+ years! Chris has NO IDEA what the Non Verbal cues this person is putting off with his: wildly swinging arms, wide and quick stride, and strange smug/anger faces until he is SLAPPED by a professional boxer. Will Smith abused a Disabled person and people are bitching about a woman with Female Pattern Baldness. She has her eyelashes and Eyebrows so she IS NOT like the majority of Alopecia sufferers!! @@Flint-Dibble-the-Don Well tbh I was never really a fan of Patrice but understood what he brought to the table in terms of commentary. I was never a fan of his stand up at all but loved him just riffing off anyone at the table. I feel that's where he truly shined. In my humble opinion his bits and material was a little overrated but as a guy on Tough Crowd with Colin or just on O & A, he was a master. And the whole slap is one of those things I can see Patrice breaking down masterfully in terms of culture, etc.
