    Burt Lancaster classic retrospective film 'The Swimmer', filmed in 1967/68, still with Gymnastics Trapeze physique of his youth, was a unique film in that a middle age dude swims the length of every neighbors pool in Pacific Palisades or BelAir, CA. while in a Reflective state looking back on his whole Life. His 'Gypsy Moths' film in '69 also had a Restrospective angle as well. I want to understand the premise of 'the Swimmer', a definitive anti-hero film, just like "Ulzana's Raid', & 'The Train'....& many others..

    She never won an Oscar because when she went on talk shows, she'd always complain about, "this town", (Hollywood).
    Talk about biting the hand the feeds you.

    • @iloveprettygirls9543
      @iloveprettygirls9543 2 роки тому +1

      She didn’t win a oscar because she doesn’t like Hollywood ? You sound stupid🥴 but she was the first one nominated 3 times before the age of 25.won 4 golden globes. And plenty of celebrities don’t like Hollywood and trash it and call it fake but still won Oscars. People disrespect the Oscars and still win a oscar so your point? She never complain about not having one or disrespect the Oscar. She doesn’t have a oscars because she told the oscar committee that JAMES DEAN should’ve won his award. But yet they still had her showing up presenting awards plenty of times. And Oscars didn’t always take place in (HOLLYWOOD).
