So precious that Burt carried her out. :-)
Natalie Wood was beautiful. I always thought she was a great actress unlike today. RIP Natalie.
She was beautiful beyond words............
@@cooldude5699 No they did not.
Nathalie Wood was very beautiful but how about gorgeous Burt Lancaster! Wow!
Just look at how beautiful she was in 1969, that beautiful long hair..
I think it is a fall but hey, she was beautiful all the time.
That is an Understatement!
Natalie Wood was so adorable 🥰
she was so lovely.
All Russian women are lovely
@@breckinmeyer8820 Did you hear of Tamara Press as an example ?
56 years and such presence from Burt wow
She was so cute! I love the speeches then. Short & sweet!
My god...sweet, beautiful, and so good actress..rip
RIP both🙏🏼🙏🏼
My favorite actress of all time! Justice for Natalie!
Justice for pretty Natalie!
Jail4. Davern
My favorite actress too.
A shame that she was nominated 4 times.... and never won 😢. Rest in Peace and Rest In Power, dear Natalie 🙏❤✝️
Such a beautiful woman. Definitely in the top 5. All time
Que fofo o Burt carregando a Natalie
What a beautiful special lady (Doug in Ga)
Talented and beautiful!
Burt Lancaster classic retrospective film 'The Swimmer', filmed in 1967/68, still with Gymnastics Trapeze physique of his youth, was a unique film in that a middle age dude swims the length of every neighbors pool in Pacific Palisades or BelAir, CA. while in a Reflective state looking back on his whole Life. His 'Gypsy Moths' film in '69 also had a Restrospective angle as well. I want to understand the premise of 'the Swimmer', a definitive anti-hero film, just like "Ulzana's Raid', & 'The Train'....& many others..
TCM On Demand showed Swimmer last month and what an unusual treat!
actually he was swimming in Connecticut
The swimmer was mostly filmed in Connecticut at directors home town Westport.
The Swimmer is an underrated masterpiece
What other actor at 54 could do an entire film in swim trunks and look terrific? That was the one problem with the film: he looked just too good to he such a loser.
Preciosa Natalie!!
What the crap! She's just super gorgeous
Natalie Wood was the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. RIP Natalie
Natalie.
Just ...want to hear myself say Natalie.
Thanks so much for providing this fun and nostalgic upload. I love Natalie's hairstyle and dress in this clip, she was really at her peak of beauty here, imo. My favorite way to see her is with long hair and a lighter shade of brunette. What a creative, fun, and unique way to handle her broken leg accident.
They should have made a film together, those wonderful Burt Lancaster and Natalie Wood !!. Rip.
Como Nataly, era linda!
Natural beauty without Botox
I love you, Natalie, and I miss you.
So is this the beginning of the green screen system?
The dress. Love it. Kiss s
Isn't Natalie the Hottest thing since sunburn!
yep!
OMG I can't believe that's all they said after being handed the Oscars for winning!
Lonette If it were the same today I would probably be able to sit through an entire show but it's just so boring because of all the speeches.
@@kiranolan7104 The speeches if they have something to say would be ok it is the mentioning of every family member and thanking everybody that is a bore.
BEYOND PATHETIC!!
@@Plainsimple67 yeah, you are.
@@plasticweapon after 2 years!!??😂 ooookkkk😉👌👌 YES, I WAS SERIOUSLY WAITING FOR YOU CRITICISMS AND COMMENT!!🥱🥴😂

burt combed his hair for the oscars.
He didn't carry her back out from the stage ? Was there a rumor about them having an affair at the time ? What film did they appear in together ? Lancaster didn't drink but he did like woman.
Natalie dated all Hollywood practically
@@deborahbushard6913 basically all the old Hollywood girls dated a lot of men and dated the same man because studios pair them up.
Burt did drink, and he liked men as well.
@@iloveprettygirls9543 who told you that, that one kid from the schoolyard in your old neighborhood?
i was floored by that incredible acceptance speech by those guys..
...NOT...
who cares?
ماتت عام 1981و هو مات 1913
They relegated these 2 great stats to this schlock? Very sad
lighten the fuck up.
Natalie should have dumped RJ and married Burt!
No one's going to broach the subject of the longstanding rumor about Lancaster and Wood?
And that would be?
Steven Chappell
that he raped her; it was almost certainly kirk douglas instead, though.
Two incredibly attractive human beings.
there is no longstanding rumor about lancaster and wood.
What would Wagner have thought of this?!
Actually she was married to Richard at this time
@@deborahbushard6913 Robert still liked her
THAT WAS SO LAME OF THE WINNERS!!🤔🥴🥴
WHAT WAS?!
@@plasticweapon the way they showed their gratitude and ran off the stage, no preparation for even a simple speech??!!🤷♂️🤷♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
She never won an Oscar because when she went on talk shows, she'd always complain about, "this town", (Hollywood).
Talk about biting the hand the feeds you.
She didn’t win a oscar because she doesn’t like Hollywood ? You sound stupid🥴 but she was the first one nominated 3 times before the age of 25.won 4 golden globes. And plenty of celebrities don’t like Hollywood and trash it and call it fake but still won Oscars. People disrespect the Oscars and still win a oscar so your point? She never complain about not having one or disrespect the Oscar. She doesn’t have a oscars because she told the oscar committee that JAMES DEAN should’ve won his award. But yet they still had her showing up presenting awards plenty of times. And Oscars didn’t always take place in (HOLLYWOOD).
natalie wood was all about herself. what a waste. she only cared about herself and if everyone was looking at her.
I think there was more to her than that. So judgmental. Did you know her personally?
YES I DID AND I STAND BY MY PREVIOUS COMMENTS.
You sound like someone who did not know her personally, maybe on the outskirts, who felt rebuffed by her but nothing more. Even at that, she was not a waste.
allen D And, just how did you know her? What is your full name, and how can you substantiate your claim?
@@VintageRose75 HAHAHA that ALAN is a delusional TROLL DRAMA QUEEN who is so jealous of the beautiful NATALIE WOOD!!!
