Oh my goodness thank you SO much. I was having trouble connecting mines as easily as you did due to a couple of hurdles. I have android so I kept turning on my bt to pair but it wasn't the phone it was the Android Auto that I had to connect to it, I had a USB cord but it was the wromg cord. Once I switched cords, it connected immediately, and I was able to find Auto Play in the pair bt section and the app opened with the maps and music play box.

I will be dealing with the same issue after the term on my leased 2021 Honda Civic HB is complete. It has SiriusXM radio built in, but starting with 2022 model year only the highest trim new Hondas now come with Sirius built in. When I am ready to trade (and I am seriously thinking now of just keeping this Civic because of this), I would have to deal with this. I do not want to move up to the highest trim to get this. I do use Sirius all of the time. I think this was a terrible decision by these car companies to drop SiriusXM from their lower and middle trim models. It is just one more thing that I will have to do every time I get in my car. I will be using my own data all of the time, as well as constantly having my phone plugged into a USB port that I could use for something else. I informed my own Honda dealer and Honda directly about this. Maybe come the 2024 model year, common sense will again prevail. Yeah, right.
Did they remove the satellite option from the forte also? I just got a 2023 forte and i can’t find the radio id to set it up. But the dealer told me that i get 3 months free
I have a 2023 Kia Forte' that has a black antennae on the rear of the roof. Does that mean I can link my Sirius account to the car directly without having to stream it through my phone?
How to setup in 2010 Lexus IS250? I got the app playing music but how do I set it so I can listen in the car ? I turned Bluetooth to ON, on the phone already.

What happens when you are in an area without cell service?
I just got a Kia Carnival 2023 and I want to return it. It doesn't have the option to add SiriusXM.
