Boeing 777X, The Perfect A380 Rival!
Not really, the 777X is a competitor to the A350, not the 380. And the 777X is still not certified, But I have high hopes for Boeing getting this wonderful plane airborne!
I don't think so, the A350 is the perfect fit rival, because the 777x has a problem and not certified
Not to mention the Boeing 777 is a very safe widebody aircraft by many experts.

While a 777 Trijet would have opened the option to an even larger passenger capacity for the 777X, it probably wouldn't have been a success in the first place, keeping the maintenance costs in mind.
Also it would have looked horrible.
