Definitely not a Glenn Tipton lick though. It’s a Faulkner lick and he takes a ton of pride in it.
Thats weird, I just heard this song for the first time today, I watched some live performances, but I only saw that younger lead guitarist called Richie Faulkner play that intro, how come you named the intro "Glenn Tipton's intro cover" is he not the rhythm guitarist of the band ? Did he perhaps write the song ? Also well played! I think it wound sound even better if you added a tiny bit of chorus effect to it 🤟
You are right. I probably got this wrong. Just thought it had a Tipton esque sound to it. There is a slight phaser on it!
@@NikolajChristensen Ah I see, yeah I thought I heard some effect on it but it was really just a tad of it, I think it would sound even better if you dialed it up a tiny bit more.
I get my new Cort X500 Menace Grey Stain guitar I ordered this morning , next week. Then I will learn this intro myself and try adding a bit chorus to it as well, looks and sounds like this intro would be fun to learn and play around with a bit.
It sounds like a solo/riff that a lead guitarist would play by himself between songs live you know ? Like guitarists like Van Halen and Kirk Hammet often does live between songs when the rest of the band is resting for a bit and getting water / beer :D
