Haha I always get a good laugh out of the fact that so many people go onto there computers to slag genuine fighting men off. I can guarantee none of these guys who come on here to feel tough would actually go up to a trained fighter and say the shit that I read on here. Respect to any man/ woman who goes out and earns a living whatever way they can that's all I say..
You'd be suprised some people come talk shit and start shit because they hear you're trained. I'm 28 now so it doesn't happen much, but my lil brother is 17 and it happens to him constantly. That's just regular kid shit. I think it's good for him to have chances to use his boxing to defend himself. He's 5 years in training plus my dad and I have tough him the basics forever before that. Back to the point there are definitely some ass holes that pick fights with really any kinda martial artist just because they either think it's bs or its just bugs some people if they feel like they're aren't the tough guy in the group, building, party, etc.
mike howarth they perform in the spot light so of course that comes with scrutiny, I don’t think it’s bad to criticise their performances but some people take it to far
its amazing how fast these guys are and how coordinated they are.. they work so hard at this sport.. i wish i woulda put my time into this.. its simply amazing
Had a fight at amateur level with this guy at butlins years ago, I lost badly! He really is gonna be a star, been following him since his amateur days. All the best chris.
That may well be the case but the only thing that matters is, is he any good. I happen to think he is. All young fighters have off nights; Hughie Fury looked very mediocre in his last bout but I happen to think he has real ability.
Billy2011C how about he trained for 7+ months and wanna show off what he learned and wanna punish his opponents by continuously knocking them down but not out, ppl talk shit cuz he's not fighting the NAMES yet so he's untested, every fight you get tested cuz every fight you could get KNOCKED OUT
MarLoG$ He wasn't showing off any skills, he was being a dick. But I hope this fight with Saunders goes ahead, full credit to him for taking this big a step up. Hope Saunders knocks him out.
That is 'quick hands ' - just imagine if you were to pick a fight with him after a few beers - he would hit you 20 times before you've even thrown a punch lol
One thing which you can see in this video, is the slight difference in Floyd Sr and Roger Mayweather's padwork structure. From what I've seen in this and other videos, is that Floyd Sr puts quite a lot more jabs into his drills, mainly to finish combinations on. It also seems like Floyd Sr moves around the ring more when doing it also, whereas Roger tends to stay on the same spot during combinations and only moves feet when he takes a half spin around before starting over. I prefer Rogers method
As an MMA fighter, i envy Chris Eubank's hand speed and how technically sound he is already. I wish i had the opportunity to work with such an accomplished trainer like Mayweather Sr. even Roger Mayweather would be a HUGE treat for me.
I want this young fellow to do amazingly well, I want all british fighters to do so no matter how cocky they seem. He's got huge potential but he's living in his fathers shadow that's been a curse and blessing, he's getting more attention and help from people he wouldn't however he has so much pressure on him to be as good as his dad who was a great great boxer. Looking forward to his next fight.
This type of training is about true skill, like Barca in football with technical skill and speed, drilling day after day until its 2nd nature. If he had this from a young age he`d already be right up there.
This is good pad work just a shame that whoever uploaded it has felt the need to slightly speed the video up to give a false perception of how fast he is. Watch closely the boxer and the trainer.
I see some of you saying Roger is better than Floyd as a trainer. I know some of you don't like or respect them. However, they understand the sport of boxing very well. Each bring his own specialty in defense, offense timing & reaction. Floyd is in a unique position to benefit from both. Both use the pads but teach different things to Floyd, you very rarely see Floyd hit the pads w/ his father yet when you do, it won't be in the same way as when he works w/ Roger. .
@ThePhillySuperman Yeah, you're exactly right. A lot of people talk about this style of padwork, which most call (rightly or wrongly) "the Mayweather Style", and discuss the merits of it, but in my opinion, the main asset that it has over the "traditional" style, is that it is based upon an action and reaction. The sequence is made up of different phases and they all begin the same way ; block/slip/push a shot and then counter it. They repeat it over and over....
I know most guys are trash talking but for me, now that I'm not American kickboxing anymore I'd just like to train someone this good. This kid with all this talent listens, which means he respects who's talking. That's earned not freely given. The kid doesn't over reach even when he misses. I'd like to train a kickboxer like him that's for sure. His speed reminds me of Ramone Dekker in his hey day.
You are mistaken! ROGER takes the pads to Floyd, Floyd SR actually holds the pads out much farther. Next, It is true that a fighter will not WANT to stand still, if he is stunned he covers up and not always moves his feet. Next, the pad drills are to develop instinct and that is what this does.
When things go sour with Eubank Snr running the show, Junior would be well advised to hook back up with Mayweather. He has the attacking instincts that Mayweather could mould into quite the fighter.
That is fast padwork. Please link me to a video of faster padwork done with a fighter at that weight.....

Exactly - Look at the skills Ricky displayed against Malignagi after one training camp with Mayweather Sr. The improvement was phenomenal. Hatton was too arrogant for his own good against Pac.

If you notice, Mayweather keeps it close and pulls back when he needs to to give Eubank more range. You have to meet the gloves because at their age and the amount of fighters they train, you're gonna blow out your shoulder if you keep it stiff. He taught the best fighter of our era most of what he knows after all..
The real work was being done by Floyd Sr. Eubanks looks like he has impressive speed and technique, but what Floyd Sr. is teaching him is valuable. And to be doing mitts at that age shows how good of shape he is in
@ThePhillySuperman ....and it becomes natural to them to counter in this way. Whereas the "traditional" style (in most cases) is just throwing punches at a trainer holding the mitts which make a loud pop, with almost nothing coming back at them.
They split up combinations and memorize them thats how the timing is so good, they don't go thru it all one big thing kinda like, jab on Monday, strait tues & wed hook, then thurz they put it all together jab,strait,hook.. But it's not one punch it's combinations a series of then together
+Alan O'Kelly "Judging by some of the comments here many of you have not seen Eubank Jnr fight. Well he's unbeaten and he looks very, very good against tomato cans". Edited.
Junior def has ability. What made me laugh is what mayweather snr said about eubank snr.' Damm I thought I went on n on but that mutha fucker never stops talking..' haha well Floyd you now know what we over here had to listen to for ages loool..Tell you what how great wud it be if they had a one off veterans fight mayweather snr v eubank snr!! Can you imagine THEM TWO going at it verbally!!??
In the days of Benn, I loathed Eubank. Nowadays, because he's basically grown up and mellowed with age, he's become the gentleman he always portrayed himself to be - and a credit to British boxing in the process. Let's not forget he was a great boxer, too. Mayweather Sr. undoubtedly has skills and an uncanny understanding of movement, but he was never involved in any wars.
from this video he's like a speedier version of cotto with flashes of tito trinidad. Could be the next danny garcia. he's a little stiff though but you can tell hes got a lot of power. a bit flat footed, but he's got hand speed to compensate. He's a killer not a prancer. good looking fighter, solid. rough around the edges, id say keep mayweather sr for defense lessons or join virgil hunters camp. definitely needs USA exposure. Golden boy needs to sign ths kid
@bentcopperpipe I suppose you think beating gary stretch, who was a light middle having his first fight at middle weight which was for the wbo middle weight title and wins over the likes of dan sherry makes eubank a great ? Not in my humble opinion
Not sure what it is with Eubank but he always looks awkward and tense. Not sure if he's keeping his fists clenched the whole time or what and his straight punches always look like a struggle
Haha I always get a good laugh out of the fact that so many people go onto there computers to slag genuine fighting men off. I can guarantee none of these guys who come on here to feel tough would actually go up to a trained fighter and say the shit that I read on here. mike howarth are you fucking talking to me?
mike howarth preach

This comment is six damn years old and it is just as true now as it was six years ago you said exactly what needed to be said
its amazing how fast these guys are and how coordinated they are.. they work so hard at this sport.. i wish i woulda put my time into this.. its simply amazing
How you making out now?
@Nearly Solvent 😂
@Overlord Audiobooks True
Should have stayed with Floyd Sr
nobody does
I was just about to say, his form looks so much cleaner in this video than now
Exactly
GAMES MASTER his father does way too much. Dad got jealous of Floyd sr for no reason
love watching Floyd Sr train. respect!
His dad English should be proud, this young boxer will be world champion, massive respect to the Eubanks Team.
Definitely agree with you there
Kevin Ward I don't.
@REAL WU-DANG true
2018 anyone?
Brilliant trainer. Also nice to see old footage of a fighter young crafting his game
*This Never Gets Old*
Amazin speed and accuracy
Damn!!! Floyd Sr. looks like a winner with this kid!!! His Pops was an awesome fighter in the UK back in the day.
Had a fight at amateur level with this guy at butlins years ago, I lost badly! He really is gonna be a star, been following him since his amateur days. All the best chris.
How you making out now?
Judging by some of the comments here many of you have not seen Eubank Jnr fight. Well he's unbeaten and he looks very, very good.
His last fight was shit. Could have finished it in round 1 but chose to be a cock for 7 rounds. Tries to act like his dad too much.
That may well be the case but the only thing that matters is, is he any good. I happen to think he is. All young fighters have off nights; Hughie Fury looked very mediocre in his last bout but I happen to think he has real ability.

Alan O'Kelly that's very true
Good to see another Eubank back in the sport!...amazing pad work too, would love the honour of having a session with Mayweather Senior.
Jr has HUGE potential!
That is 'quick hands ' - just imagine if you were to pick a fight with him after a few beers - he would hit you 20 times before you've even thrown a punch lol
Chris JR is good and exciting to watch - good luck
Eubank sr was never the same after Watson, before that fight he was unstoppable !!
Can you blame him though?
excellent boxer with excellent teacher doing excellent padwork
This was 2010 if im reading the info right,he really has improved and is ready to move to the next level.
phenominal padwork, eubank jr is the real deal
crazy quick hands, defo a future highlight!.
What's a proud moment for parents respect
Sometimes when I can't sleep I think of hitting the pads, and drift off with a smile on my face :)
Chris Eubanks was the man. I didn't know his son was boxing too, relay don't surprise me tho.

i agree, i love his triple jab very crisp
I want this young fellow to do amazingly well, I want all british fighters to do so no matter how cocky they seem. I miss doing pad work. Got a shoulder injury doing press-ups had to cut my training right down.
I love this, great work. He is really testing him
This type of training is about true skill, like Barca in football with technical skill and speed, drilling day after day until its 2nd nature. If he had this from a young age he`d already be right up there.
This is good pad work just a shame that whoever uploaded it has felt the need to slightly speed the video up to give a false perception of how fast he is. Watch closely the boxer and the trainer.
Just look at how much Eubank Jr. has evolved.
I'm watching 2017. Awesome!!!
I see some of you saying Roger is better than Floyd as a trainer. I know some of you don't like or respect them. However, they understand the sport of boxing very well. Who is watching this in 2017?
me
not me i dont play that shit
2017
Green Videos me
Green Videos and also the near 1 million others
Like to see Floyd Sr and Jr do pad work.
Excellent observation. I am not sure how far this fighter will go, but without footwork not far.. Peace (TG1).
I know most guys are trash talking but for me, now that I'm not American kickboxing anymore I'd just like to train someone this good. ppl that dont train will watch this not realising just how hard it is for both fighter AND trrainer to work like that
I seen him fight in London a few years ago. Very impressive fighter. He won by TKO.
Is there any chance you could make a video response to this video and show us all how much better your technique is?
impressed with both of them
You are mistaken! ROGER takes the pads to Floyd, Floyd SR actually holds the pads out much farther. Next, It is true that a fighter will not WANT to stand still, if he is stunned he covers up and not always moves his feet. Next, the pad drills are to develop instinct and that is what this does.
Watching this in 2021.
He's got his dad's skills and he's got his son's skill's.
When things go sour with Eubank Snr running the show, Junior would be well advised to hook back up with Mayweather. He has the attacking instincts that Mayweather could mould into quite the fighter.
video seems like its sped up slightly but still good
That is fast padwork. Please link me to a video of faster padwork done with a fighter at that weight.....

hes good i like him, seen everyone of his fights so far
Jab & Right to the right pad like it should be
he posted that 2months ago, he's changed it now lol
The real work was being done by Floyd Sr. Eubanks looks like he has impressive speed and technique, but what Floyd Sr. is teaching him is valuable. And to be doing mitts at that age shows how good of shape he is in
if you have ever watched Floyd Snr. fight you will see exactly where Floyd jr learnt his incredible defensive game
Have the combinations been sped up ? That is crazy speed lol
You should see Andre Berto... or Gamboa on the pads... they look like they break the sound barrier!
Amazing jab and overall lead hand.
yes man! i love it if i can get more of ur stuff dvd i would be grateful. Thanks!
@enzofigueroa There's always a trade-off. The faster you punch on the mitts the more your form may slightly suffer.
Would liked to have seen Jones Jr v Eubanks snr- both around Same time and weight.
good work.
Floyd Sr. is one of the great teachers.
awesome stuff man.. very hard to execute.
Sr seems to be doing a great job as well with training. After all he was Jr first trainer and example.
This video footage has been speeded up and is not in real time. Still impressive pad work
He looks like he's coming along well, he should work a tad bit on tucking than chin in tho
1:35 Mayweather Sr. is sick with the pads, even with those fast hands Eubank Jr. still gets a challenge trying to keep up with Joy's handspeed.
i think senior is one of the best technicians of boxing in the world, hes the master of quick hands and of course defence!
Absolutely Official!
@ThePhillySuperman ....and it becomes natural to them to counter in this way. Whereas the "traditional" style (in most cases) is just throwing punches at a trainer holding the mitts which make a loud pop, with almost nothing coming back at them.
FLOYD SENIOR YOU ARE THE MECCA OF BOXING GENIUS. PADWORK IS FLAWLESS HOW CAN ANYONE FAULT WHAT YOU TEACH MY BROTHER
Sr is a BEAST !
Great video
This kids jab is a laser.
them jabs are sick
We were just saying this at our gym tonight.
man ths dude got it.. his hand speed is great
They split up combinations and memorize them thats how the timing is so good, they don't go thru it all one big thing kinda like, jab on Monday, strait tues & wed hook, then thurz they put it all together jab,strait,hook.. But it's not one punch it's combinations a series of then together
He is trained by the best that’s why he is so good 😊
Wow very fast hands
nice pad work
Yes please... Show us how it is done?
+Alan O'Kelly "Judging by some of the comments here many of you have not seen Eubank Jnr fight. Well he's unbeaten and he looks very, very good against tomato cans". Edited.
great work
Good work can't wait tell you see mine young Mayweather
TRAIN ME!!...or is there a gym in austin texas, in which i can go to??
there's a science to this shit pure
art
@dundeekim1 I noticed that too, but maybe he was staying put to learn the commands better.
You're right my man!
that pad work is too fuckin clean
Junior def has ability. What made me laugh is what mayweather snr said about eubank snr.' yeah I cudnt stand eubank when I was a kid. it was like he cud never n wudnt ever be beaten!! grrrr!!!
check me out on the pads
+Sandy Dandy he had a war against leonard

So what are you waiting for? Contact him.
hope he does well and -looks good too.
