Sadly friends and family react this way more often than not...that is why people with PBA tend to isolate and that makes it far worse.

I'm in my 30s and have it. Its no fun you feel all alone. Family and friends dont understand. Often get told im being childish or seeking attention. Very sad, its really not that. Dr. Diagnosed me 2 or 3 years ago. I now take nuedexta, but sometimes forget because I have short term memory loss and the cycle repeats over and over. I had a tramtic brain injury.

When I have episodes of migraine and vomiting I can’t keep it down and I’m back to crying but not the WAILING and SOBBING like before Nuedexta.
I have been hugged by so many strangers before Nuedexta- had I been laughing I probably would have been punched!!!I’d be wailing 😭 just trying to buy a slice of pizza and more 😭trying to explain that I was okay- really- I just wanted a slice of pizza and was SOBBING about it just like a lunatic!
