8:30 candle stick holder13;10 1930s car jack 17;00 flywheel from an old truck with a driveline brake drum attached The last one is defiantly worth a restoration along with the candle stick holder. The large "hairpin for a giant" is probably a leaf spring from a 1930s truck I love this channel!. The rollers are from a wringer washing machine and the white was on there so as not to mark clothing from black rubber.. You would take wet clothes and put them between two rollers to squeeze out most of the water Wringer washing machines were dangerous as women got their hair caught in them and it would pull their hair out from the roots. After that they developed the spin washers we have today. Probably around the 1940s

PLEASE do a pH test of the water in that area! I'm dying to know how acidic that water is.
BTW I'm almost sure that thing with the bird talon was an eagle claw candle holder. They were made from cast iron and some were very short like that.

The metal you said was part of a sea wall is a peace of sheet piling that interlocks to form a sea wall.
I helped drive a bunch of it for a marina I worked at so you are right it does form a sea wall to help keep the banks from sliding off.

I bought a magnet with a 900lb capacity. I was so excited. I live on the Ohio river in an old industrial town. I expected to find neat treasures of our industrial past everywhere. In the 20 hours I have spent moving along the river, and several streams and over bridges I have found.... Black sand...

    OK here we go again🤗
The window weights can also be two other things. It could be an anchor for a boat, which is so many people has used in the past or something called a sham. I’m not sure if I got the proper spelling, but it goes between the window and the frame above it to keep it leveled.
    So there you go
    A window wait
    An anchor
    Or a sham
Okey-dokey, Dokey pokey😂🥴‼️🍀🍀🍀🍀 good luck in all your finds, big, or small, medium or large it don’t matter it’s all cha-ching$$$😅

I keep hoping you're gonna find your magnet. 🤣 I watched the video again when you lost it. If you're facing the bar from your boat there are a few trees to the left of it. you threw it right past where the trees make a little clearing and close to the rocky shore. maybe you'll go back to that spot again because you were so close!!! you've been finding some neat stuff out there!!!
*"It's a hair clip for giants"...🤣🤣🤣 It did kinda look like that was it's purpose at some point.

First the thing you said it looked like it had feet on it was a candle holder. And yes that was a jack that Alex found from the 30s and earlier and the thing you thought was a shotgun shell was it fact a tire gage for Model Ts there tires took about 20lbs of air. It looked like it might be one that was made from extra shell casing after WW1 it might be worth 20 bucks.

My mom had one for my dad's work clothes n our jeans, n my job was to wring them. Once I pinched the side of my hand n pinky in it, but grab the pants n pulled back enough to get unstuck. Worse was when my sweatshirt cuff got caught n my arm went in a bit just as I reached over n unplugged it and undone the top n lifted it so I could get my arm out. That happened over Christmas vacation n I still had bruises a month later when it was my BD. I got lucky it didn't break my arm, but it sure as heck hurt like I did. 😢 Those things were wicked!! ☠️

I still use one today. Kenmore. It’s still hums along. Very simple. Not even on and off switch. Just pull the plug. Gear shift to engage the agitator

Yep, got my arm in at 2 years old, the docs thought they were going to have to amputate because of extreme swelling. Was in the hospital for a while. It is ok still have my arm and large scar at inside of my elbow. Of course I don't remember it, just the story being told.
