Great job Brian. I am one to sit and look at a project and get the picture in my mind. It is going to be so nice when you finish. Best feeling to stand back and admire it a say “ We did that “.
Yup, I like the updates. So if the amount of work you put in to a project, directly affects the satisfaction when done, Y’all are going to be thrilled when you start traveling!!!
It looks daunting so can feel your pain watching this. I remodeled a 1978 coachmen camper a couple years ago. Don't lose heart. It's looking good Brian!
Enjoying the updates. Remenber if a job is worth doing, it's worth doing it right! Take your time and get the van tbey way you want it because you'll only regret it later if you compromise.
I have really enjoyed your van build it is going to be awesome. Nothing wrong with wanting everything perfect, that’s the only way to have it. Love all the updates and if I ever decide to do something like that I’m calling you.😜 can’t wait to see the finished result. Warm up please👍🏻🇺🇸
Yes I enjoy the update videos. Did you get the drill bit out? When you see most people and their home built videos, you get the idea it was easy. I like to see the thought you put into each step and why you changed something. Good luck.
Another great video! Van is coming along. Them back corners suck on the Promaster. And so do the commercials I had to watch during this video😁. Can’t wait to see it finished. And I think a weekly update would be awesome… or two🤷♂️😂
Seriously, we work full time too... Progress seems slow when you are not allowed to spend time on it due to 'the' other job... WE all love seeing it come together... Keep posting.
Yeah. Keep the videos coming. Just picked up a ProMaster yesterday ourselves. Hopefully start building pretty soon if it ever warms up here in Wisconsin.
I feel your pain...I just FINALLY finished(almost anyway) wiring/electrifying my solar off grid 300 sqft cabin...it took me FOREVER just installing it all as I was doing it on the fly and in my mind...lol...youre doing fine...its the thinking process that really takes A LONG time! Also when you build it yourself and things break and they will...you know where almost everything exactly is!!!
Love all the updates. No complaints. Feel like we are there with you. You will be well rewarded when it is complete. An amazing project that few would take on. But, you will have a very personalized possession that you both can be proud of. Enjoy your bragging rights. Well earned.
So if I buy a van I can drop it off with you and Heather and you two can do the build? I also work better with drawings. It’s coming along nicely! All the best to you both. Ride Safe
Keep Truckin. It's hard to stay focused sometimes. I get the blueprints idea. Not the 3d crap. Real blueprints.Too many years in aerospace manufacturing. Sometimes, you just have to step back and get a coffee or beer. Go look at a van conversation to see haw they did it and puff you get remotivated with a better idea.
Love the updates. Always enjoy work in progress to a finished project. Glad you put a lot of thought into the build! It will turn out just right and be very reliable! Great work!
Just remember Brian. You can stick your mattress in when the weather warms up enough and use it half finished..It's your van...so who cares if it isn't finished to the expectations of your vision for it. Go get some perspective.
Get it to the point where you can use it for a couple nights - just barely. That will tell you what final changes you need to make before you get too far and it’s too late. Where does your luggage/clothes go? Dirty clothes? Shoes/boots? Ventilation and condensation at night? Where to store things to level the van? Easy way to drain and winterize? Use all the wall space for drop in shelves (salt, pepper, condiments, tooth brushes, soap, shampoo, deodorant, etc) and hangers for clothes, shoes etc? Where do you hang a wet jacket? Where do you hang your clothes at night? Wet towels? Plug in for electric blanket? How to secure the coffee maker while traveling - and minimize the things you have to constantly pack and unpack for travel. Can you get sponsored by Jackery, or Anker for a solar generator?
Besides cost difference which is huge, you can build at 10 times better quality. Current RV’s are built like tar paper shacks and the warranties are worthless. And it’s built to your exact needs, nothing extra, nothing wasted. Finally, the satisfaction of doing it because you can.
Keep these style videos coming! Progress is progress!!
Yes do the little updates if you are up for it. Love seeing your progress.
Yes, please: those updates represent the life of a builder.
Van is looking good.

Absolutely not! lol! I will never build another van. Although, I suppose the second one would be easier, but still, no lol

👍🔨🔧🪛✌
Brian, I was more concerned for your physical well being, because the Abominable Snowman was hiding right behind you while you were cutting wood.
Ha!
When I first read the title of the vid I thought it said "Porn star build series" 🤣😂🤣😂 I was thinking Brian was getting into a new line of work....😂😂😂
Haha! Just like the van build, I am ill-equipped 😂
why not just buy a class c
Mostly cost. We can build a better one for about 50k cheaper. Its just a lot of work.
Besides cost difference which is huge, you can build at 10 times better quality. Current RV’s are built like tar paper shacks and the warranties are worthless. And it’s built to your exact needs, nothing extra, nothing wasted. Finally, the satisfaction of doing it because you can.
Well this is news ....guess I've not been getting notifications....utube strikes again....guess I'll unsub and resub.
Oof! I wish they would get that fixed!
