It's cool to see how there were stylistic things in early Jinjer that sort of stayed with them all the way up to this day, even though they evolved and changed quite significantly. Really enjoying their older songs too, even if they are a bit different to what they do nowadays.
Thanks for the double feature. Kinda fun to get a deep track comparison. And BTW we all think that is Tatiana singing to this song in the shower. No video needed for that, the image in my head makes me happy!! Voice of an Angel is spot on. If you do Words of Wisdom, I hope its the Live version. The ENERGY is intense. The OMV is ok but you know just some video over the studio track. Jinjer is a LIVE band. maybe do both videos and you will see why I think Live is better. WE like long reactions anyways LOL
Thanks for checking out this video great reaction. They also have a video for waltz and scissors live from BEASTIARIUM if your interested in watching those
I really like the way you did this reaction, you picked out a lot of differences that I missed, particularly in style and technique. They really have come a long way from their origins. If you wanna do this thing again with Jinjer there are two more songs you could do. Destroy is the only one with a studio version from both singers, but Max's vocals also appear in the songs "Angels" and "Abyss". Tatiana didn't do studio versions of those, but here ua-cam.com/video/SSW9Dg7o0UI/v-deo.html is a pretty decent quality concert video where they played both songs. I really like the video because it's very organic, from what I could tell they didn't use any backing tracks or maybe even click tracks/metronomes based on the fact that the drummer actually had to count them in. I think those songs would be interesting to do as Tatiana's vocals bring a very different atmosphere to the songs.
You apologize for going long? Omg no! Great video. Btw, I think less than half a dozen channels have done Destroy. So kudos! Maksym was a perfectly competent vocalist, and I feel like if he'd been starting out somewhere that you didn't have to be an incredibly unique superhuman phenomenon just to get noticed he'd have had a shot at doing it professionally. But, he was starting out in Ukraine and saw the writing on the wall. Inhale Don't Breathe is a great album all around. Very different from their current stuff but still really good imo. Cheers! P.s. the audio sample sounds like Tati singing Destroy in the shower.
He's definitely pleasant. That's the thing I think. He sounds fine, it just doesn't sound how I expect a Jinjer track to sound. Glad the length wasn't too off-putting. I've heard that I talk too much before, so you can never be too sure ;) I'm at a loss for which audio sample you're referring to haha.
There's only one member in common in both versions of this song - Dmitry Osken on rhythm guitar (left in 2015). Incidentally, this may be the first footage of Eugene on bass with Jinjer - he was invited to join right before the Beastarium videos.
To me, the live Beastiarium of Destroy, is the birth of the core of Jinjer. Vlad took over drums after the last drummer left (Dmitriy in 2016), I wonder if all four former drummers regret leaving? Vlad is a beast, and it is funny how life works out sometimes. Hard to imagine Jinjer without the curernt four band members now.
@@AlphaTylerContent Prior to the "Nothing" album, they were basically a thrash band. Jens Kidman their vocalist was even playing rhythm guitar at this time. For example, from their first album Contradictions Collapse: ua-cam.com/video/ac0KV9kJqlI/v-deo.html Compare this to what they sound like today with Thomas Haake: ua-cam.com/video/9OjBg7Zp8-E/v-deo.html
I'm a huge jinjer fan but I never heard the original destroy. Try until the end and there is one in russian.translate like i want it I'll take it. Great song
If you like Jinjer, try INFECTED RAIN Me Against You ua-cam.com/video/QrU7LMxgxFM/v-deo.html and here is a treat. Duet with Tatiana ua-cam.com/video/2mboYve9g8A/v-deo.html
if you listen you can hear tatiana in the first song just because she was not the maine singer she was still in there his growl at first then her after
awesome back-to-back reaction, man. i'd dig if you went on with a similar format. Looking forward to Words of Wisdom (omv and live)

Love the comparison.

Hell, man... that was fun! Thanks for doing it. Great idea. Subbed.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for subscribing!

Loved your comments. At one point you were at a lost of words. I would say she gives the.band depth
I'd like to see you do a throwback of Meshuggah.
I've heard a fair amount of their work, but if you'd send me a suggestion I'm happy to hit it as long as I haven't!

So glad Max left, Tati on the vocals launched this band into interstellar space.
There is not Tatiana in first version of song. That is Max Fatulaev. Their first vocalist.
Yes, he said that. That's why we watch the comparison in the first place.
