Hello Rocky & Kimball!! It was probably late August or early September of 1980 when I made a day trip to Brighton for the first time. And there was another day trip in the summer of 1983. I did visit The Royal Pavillion during the first visit and remember being sticker shocked by the entry fee!! Brighton has surely changed a great deal, and I enjoyed both videos very much. That was fun, I have not been to Brighton for quite a few years despite living in London. It is such a quirky place. I remember a hot sunny day trip to Brighton a decade before I came out, in the 90s. I was at a bar on the board walk with a friend, and two transvestites on rollerskates each carrying a small dog came speeding past. And I thought this is quite a different place and sent me on my journey.

So, I filmed the underwear video the day after we got those underwear and then I got home from Brighton and filmed the full video which you say first. Then, I got around to editing these Brighton videos a few months later. Basically, I had done a poll on our community tab asking what videos people wanted to see first. It was Underwear Review, Flat Tour and then Brighton. So I put it off LOL We like to go back in time this channel.

Somehow all your traveling vlogs look like free city marketing for the places you visit. Everything looks so cute and quaint and colorful! I wonder - since i recently went on a UA-cam binge about how Britain isn't that Great anymore since 14 years of tories and pandemics and brexits - do you notice that on your trips? Like, if I watch those vids it seems like there are no more shops and cafes and everybody's without jobs and on drugs, but then I see your vids of cute independent coffee shops and street art and everything looks fine.
Oh, for sure Britain seems to be struggling to me. However, I think things are picking back up a bit more now that we have a few years behind us since the pandemic. The biggest thing I've noticed is the cost of living is very hard for many people and it's a struggle to get by for so many families. I'm in the English countryside, so I'm a bit removed from the urban centers where this is more prominent but it's still there. Brighton is a bright place to visit though and, even though it is rough around the edges (to be honest) it's ver lively, they have great landscaping and parks, and the people were generally friendly. The boardwalk gets a little rowdy and some of the guys are very Bro-ey or Laddy. I got hacked by some guys for having my top off, that type of thing. But whatever, that has nothing to do with me and just made me feel a bit sad for them. Anyway, England is great, hopefully the government can help their citizens more in the future.

By the way, I worked in Dallas for 8 weeks back in 2015 and I really loved it. There was an area called Deep Ellum that I really enjoyed exploring. I found the people in Texas to be extremely kind and welcoming. I don't know how it is for gay men as I wasn't really announcing that I was gay during my time as it was a work thing, but I could imagine it being pretty progressive in the areas I visited at least.

Hello Rocky & Kimball!! It was probably late August or early September of 1980 when I made a day trip to Brighton for the first time. And there was another day trip in the summer of 1983. I did visit The Royal Pavillion during the first visit and remember being sticker shocked by the entry fee!! Brighton has surely changed a great deal, and I enjoyed both videos very much. It's always good spending time with you guys!! ❤❤❤

That was fun, I have not been to Brighton for quite a few years despite living in London. It is such a quirky place. I remember a hot sunny day trip to Brighton a decade before I came out, in the 90s.
I was at a bar on the board walk with a friend, and two transvestites on rollerskates each carrying a small dog came speeding past. And I thought this is quite a different place and sent me on my journey.

Oh yes, the timing of this video is odd because it was back in May. So, I filmed the underwear video the day after we got those underwear and then I got home from Brighton and filmed the full video which you say first. Then, I got around to editing these Brighton videos a few months later. Basically, I had done a poll on our community tab asking what videos people wanted to see first. It was Underwear Review, Flat Tour and then Brighton. So I put it off LOL

I wonder - since i recently went on a UA-cam binge about how Britain isn't that Great anymore since 14 years of tories and pandemics and brexits - do you notice that on your trips? Like, if I watch those vids it seems like there are no more shops and cafes and everybody's without jobs and on drugs, but then I see your vids of cute independent coffee shops and street art and everything looks fine.
Oh, for sure Britain seems to be struggling to me. However, I think things are picking back up a bit more now that we have a few years behind us since the pandemic.
The biggest thing I've noticed is the cost of living is very hard for many people and it's a struggle to get by for so many families. I'm in the English countryside, so I'm a bit removed from the urban centers where this is more prominent but it's still there.
Brighton is a bright place to visit though and, even though it is rough around the edges (to be honest) it's ver lively, they have great landscaping and parks, and the people were generally friendly. The boardwalk gets a little rowdy and some of the guys are very Bro-ey or Laddy. I got hacked by some guys for having my top off, that type of thing. But whatever, that has nothing to do with me and just made me feel a bit sad for them.
Anyway, England is great, hopefully the government can help their citizens more in the future.

Oh SHYT! Well first of all, it's lovely to finally chat with you and WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN THIS WHOLE TIME?!.
