I'm actually the one who does the editing. My full time work is head of production for an internal production studio for a global company here in the UK, so many many of my waking hours are spent editing. But it's something I've loved doing since I was 13 and my stepdad bought me my first camera. Back then, I was connecting RCA cables back and forth between my camera and VCR in order to edit. Crazy how much technology has enabled everyone to edit. It really is a fun skill to have and I'm so appreciative people enjoy our videos. Thanks for taking the time to let us know you feel this way. Yay, another whirlwind tour of some lovely bits of London---so much beautiful architecture, statuary, and public park space. I have to admit, you would probably have never gotten me out of that first bookstore before sundown--always been a total bookworm, my parents taught me to read before I even went to kindergarten and I just never stopped. Had over 7000 volumes in my personal library at one point (moving was suuuuuuch fun!) but down to just a couple hundred now. As I’ve gotten older and my vision has weakened I’ve shifted to using digital reading, so I can adjust the font type/size/contrast, etc… Thanks for another lovely tour, always looking forward to you and Kimball inviting us along to share in your antics and shenanigans 😊❤❤❤

Thanks for this trip throught London. Love the park, we used to stay in a hotel next to the park, so we've been there a lot. Great choice of the Magic Mike guy, I 100% agree! And I also agree on Fortnum & Mason, very expensive, but so worth the visit, better than Harrods. When we go to London, we always visit Liberty of London, love that store too.

Love Foyles! Spent hours in the cafe last time I was there and Books and Objects. I have to try Hatchard’s next time. If you enjoy Asian food, I love C&R Cafe (Malaysian) in Chinatown (great food, reasonable prices) and it’s on a little alleyway away from the crowds!!

I've been thinking of making a coffee table book of all the random artwork I've done for the channel LOL. This was wonderful. I love all the art you always show. I love everything in England except the prices. When my husband and I went the pound was $2.25 to the dollar. We were blown away by Burlington Arcade, Fortnum's and Harrods. At that time, we lived in pre-Microsoft Seattle. London was a place where anything you could possibly want or want to see was right there for you. Now, the internet is there for me. My heart goes out to Kimball. I remember how big the crowds were in downtown London. I so enjoy your channel. Waiting for more. PS The outro was longer than the last Lord of the Rings.

Hi Rocky & Kimball!! Leicester Square is pronounced, Lester. All the inconvient bits are ignored to make it easier to pronounce. Your tour of the parks & "downtown" were wonderful and familiar. Many current vlogs show a very different London, which is unrecognizable, due to new construction. I was lucky to visit London five times. I'm glad it was prior to the tourist explosion. Loved your drawing, Kimball, of the Coldstream Guard with you & Rocky. ❤❤❤ to you both, always. PS. When I lived there in the eighties, I would sneak a homemade sandwich into the tea shops to surreptiously take bites between sips of the tea I purchased. Eating out was always very expensive. What was the sandwich, you ask? Cheese and chutney of course, though it's probably out of fashion now. Truthfully, I loathed the marmite ones. 😝

I'm actually the one who does the editing. My full time work is head of production for an internal production studio for a global company here in the UK, so many many of my waking hours are spent editing. But it's something I've loved doing since I was 13 and my stepdad bought me my first camera. Back then, I was connecting RCA cables back and forth between my camera and VCR in order to edit. Crazy how much technology has enabled everyone to edit. It really is a fun skill to have and I'm so appreciative people enjoy our videos. Thanks for taking the time to let us know you feel this way. When hours are long, these types of comments keep me going.

Yay, another whirlwind tour of some lovely bits of London---so much beautiful architecture, statuary, and public park space.
I have to admit, you would probably have never gotten me out of that first bookstore before sundown--always been a total bookworm, my parents taught me to read before I even went to kindergarten and I just never stopped. Had over 7000 volumes in my personal library at one point (moving was suuuuuuch fun!) but down to just a couple hundred now. As I’ve gotten older and my vision has weakened I’ve shifted to using digital reading, so I can adjust the font type/size/contrast, etc…

And I also agree on Fortnum & Mason, very expensive, but so worth the visit, better than Harrods. When we go to London, we always visit Liberty of London, love that store too.

This was wonderful. I love all the art you always show. I love everything in England except the prices. When my husband and I went the pound was $2.25 to the dollar. We were blown away by Burlington Arcade, Fortnum's and Harrods. At that time, we lived in pre-Microsoft Seattle. London was a place where anything you could possibly want or want to see was right there for you. Now, the internet is there for me. My heart goes out to Kimball. I remember how big the crowds were in downtown London. I so enjoy your channel. Waiting for more. PS The outro was longer than the last Lord of the Rings.

Hi Rocky & Kimball!! Leicester Square is pronounced, Lester. All the inconvient bits are ignored to make it easier to pronounce. Your tour of the parks & "downtown" were wonderful and familiar. Many current vlogs show a very different London, which is unrecognizable, due to new construction. I was lucky to visit London five times. I'm glad it was prior to the tourist explosion. Loved your drawing, Kimball, of the Coldstream Guard with you & Rocky. ❤❤❤ to you both, always. PS. When I lived there in the eighties, I would sneak a homemade sandwich into the tea shops to surreptiously take bites between sips of the tea I purchased. Eating out was always very expensive. What was the sandwich, you ask? Cheese and chutney of course, though it's probably out of fashion now. Truthfully, I loathed the marmite ones. 😝

With the amount of education around rubbish and plastic, I'm surprised/annoyed to still see bottles being dumped in rivers/lakes.
@@danielgaul3909 SAAAAAME! Littering and trash being dumped in public spaces is one of my biggest pet peeves. Followed by my neighbors who decide to out all their trash and recycling in our bins. 🤣
