I made a batch with a mix of spicy brown mustard, and real maple syrup. Brush that on the bacon, and sprinkle with brown sugar. I brushed both sides of the bacon too. It was so good!! Oh! And I used peppered bacon!
The drippings in the pan would probably be an awesome addition to some homemade baked beans.

You can try using another rack to place on top then flip all at once, then let hot rack cool between bastings
Thanks Ashlee. Do you have to eat the bacon straightaway, or can it hold outside if you want to eat it a little bit later?

Grat recipe, taste wonderful. My question is when my bacon cooled, it looked as if there was spots of fat on the bacon. Could you guess why? I was thinking that I may not have cooked it long enough but the egdes are crisp, the color is a deep red, and when you hold a piece it is firm. I will make this again. I so enjoy your videos. Thank you!!
Thank you, that would be my guess to, maybe you just got a really fatty brand of bacon? I'm not sure just try again!

What is the purpose of the rice vinegar in the sauce you're using?
it balances the sweetness - but you can leave it out if you want, it's not totally essential!
I thought you had a scarf on on but now I see it's your hair! I'm a sista who loves color hair from way back in the 80's as a child and honey you are wearing that blue!!! You are giving me David Bowie,Cyndi and Madonna 1985 all wrapped up in one! Lol I love it! Oh the bacon looks good too!😁

It does take some time but I like to think it's worth it
