- Hello, and Welcome.
With a very wet start this day we were so glad that we had been able to experience the Ile Bonaventure a day earlier. Driving west now we encountered a "Historic Village" that seemed to be closed. We were drawn to one building though by the sound of drums. What looked like a children`s TV show was in rehearsal? Our last stop in Quebec Province was a detour up to Mount St Joseph regional park. Great green views from the summits were a highlight of the day. Onwards then to Campbelton in New Brunswick.

What a beautiful place. The views from the observation deck are spectacular, and the houses set in the fields are reminiscent of Anne of Green Gables.

The Historic Village looks so beautiful and the children are awesome. I like the views from the viewpoint on the lake and the rolling hills and meadows. The chapel is beautiful with its blue roof. Everything is so calm and peaceful with great music 🎶

The views from Ile Bonaventure and Mount St Joseph were breathtaking. I was disappointed that the Historic Village was closed. It would have been a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the region's history. These preserved villages are fascinating time capsules. Thanks for sharing your trip with us!👌👍

It was a bit of a gloomy wet day but still there were a few points of interest as we traveled. Still not sure what that colourful group were doing but we perhaps should not have been there and we retreated quietly. Thanks for watching.

A Covid acabou com muitas coisas que eu tinha planejado e já que passei a maior parte do tempo na Europa. É ótimo ver mais do que descobri no UA-cam. Muitas felicidades do Reino Unido.

Allways impressive footage , perfectly cut and the music to it fits in a way, that you feel the atmosphere being there by your own.
The Drummer band-I think maybe they wanted to express the powerful rythm and heartbeat of the colourful nature outside: Blue sky, white clouds in the wind, Green woods and hills, flowers around,
...something like that...

You sure had a nice view of Percé from your motel 🤩 Never been to "Le Parc Régional du mont St-Joseph " . The views from the viewpoints were beautiful 🤩 The bridge that goes to New Brunswick from Pointe-à-la-Croix to Campbellton looks similar to the "Jacques Cartier" bridge in Montreal but in a much smaller scale. We passed on the #132 when we came back from Percé in 2020 and passed in Pointe-à-la-Croix" and the "Matapédia " valley but we didn’t stop nowhere until we had reached "Grand-Mètis" on the other side of the peninsula.

Hi Serge. We chose the motel because of those views. When we saw the weather that morning we were so glad that we had been on the Ile Bonaventure the day before. As for the Mont St Joseph, I saw a picture of the view on line the evening before and so sought it out. Even on such a gloomy day the views over those wonderful green landscapes was so worth the detour. At Campbellton we turned south but returned to Quebec a little over a week later. Hope you are both well. I have my op in a couple of days and hope that I can get exploring again shortly. Best wishes. Robert & Ivor.

Such a peaceful place. I loved the opening scene of those cabins overlooking the area. That must have been so surprised to find people drumming in one of the buildings. Glad you left that in the video, as it is an interesting experience.
