I'm surely a pretty decent player. These days I'm trying to make a fun show so if I get a real game or not, who's to say. We'll never know for sure. So pete I have question the card playing odds for a while. Technically it depends on how the game treats the cards that are in the deck. Does it have a deck that's shuffled every turn? If so then your logic is true. Putting 3 soldiers back in will increase your odds of drawing a soldier back so you can complete a trade next turn. But if the cards you play are put at the bottom of a theoretical deck or off to the side until the deck runs out and reshuffle. Then your logic is backwards and you are actually hurting your chances. Do we know how it is in game files? Or the devs told like the dice roll info?
Yeah of course. If the deck isn't shuffled then you're not increasing your likelihood at all. We sometimes do get back one of the specific cards we trade in as evidence for the 'shuffling' actually occurring.
I believe it's the second option. But if I count right, you do not hurt your chances by choosing three of a kind. If your discarded cards do not affect the new cards deck, then either you choose three of a kind or three different cards to discard, it leaves you in the same spot with the same probability - you still need the "fourth of that kind".
@@desyncer How can you possibly determine whether it is or is not shuffled every turn if we know it is shuffled when cards are turned in. It both makes no difference and is impossible to prove one way or the other unless you look at the program itself.
