Great show I was in the epicenter of where both eclipse happened in Carbondale IL. Right before the total eclipse we had an eagle fly right over us and then 2 other eagles joined in flying in circles right in front of us. It then went completely dark. Incredible moment!

It's Monday. Time for another MMMB. In August 2017 we had to good fortune to witness a total eclipse in Georgia. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for sure. All the best in the week ahead.

Great show as always. For my coffee today, it was also Tim Hortons, but in dark roast. Great coffee. First off, i thought the shave tip about the silicone packs was brilliant. Great idea. Great new item section and hearing all the letters and suggestions from viewers. Again, great show 👍

Good Monday Morning, Mark!! As always, another wonderful MMMB!!! Looks like Jim from Northfield snagged some really great vintage razors for his razor den!!!! Have a great rest of the week!!!🙂oh, by the way, did you get to see what is referred to as "the diamond ring effect? that's what happens when the moon moves across the sun the Bailey's Beads disappear and a small bright light occurs on 1 side of the sun resembling a diamong ring effect.
Beth, I cannot remember if that is what I saw at that moment. I was being a bit cautious to make sure I didn't look at the sun during ghe eclipse entering or exiting. The only time I removed my glasses was at totality. That was awesome! so, maybe in putting the glasses back on, I may have missed the Diamond Ring. However, my guess is that is what gave us all the white light. That was incredible.:)did you get to see the Diamond Ring?
@MarkSzorady yes i did & it was just beautiful! Just google it & you will find images of the diamind ring that appears after the moon begins to exit the sun's surface

The pH's which Nicholas(?) or David(?) reports are about what one would expect for soaps and shaving creams. Any pH of about 10 or higher would likely indicate the presence of unneutralized alkali.
Does or could Al Spencer report how many shaves or how many shaves per day for the The Tube lasting 10 months?

Which or what was this "Cremo" with the pH of 6? Shave soap? Shave cream? Pre-shave something? Not having the actual bottle and to see the ingredients list, I wonder. pH of 6 would not be consistent with soap. Someone give a comment or explanation.
It's the Cremo classic cream in the tube. I have several other Cremo cream products as well, but didn't test those. I presume they are the same as the Classic.
Ok.. I just tested my Cremo cream for sensitive skin and it came in at a solid 6.0. I also tested the Cremo cooling cream and it came in at about 6.5. I then tested my Lucky Tiger cream, one of my favorites, and it came in at a solid 9.0! So, evidently, ph is not set on it being a cream. I think that soaps are always going to be a high ph due to the process of making a soap that includes tallow, whereas creams can go either way. Also, the Lucky Tiger is not a tallow based cream.
