The John Barry theme gives me goose-bumps every time.
The theme evokes very powerfully all the glamour of the world of Vegas, beautiful expensive classy women, 60s/early 70's London, playboys, Bond, Southern Europe, warm nights, luxurious cuisine, danger, and 1971 as an 11 year old.

Neytiri Theme here is a bit scratchy, sure they'd clean it up if they were to make the movie. Surprised they didn't take the chance to cast a black American for the part of Danny Wilde, Hollywood as it is. All that said not a bad cast. Not sure Clooney has the personality that Tony Curtis had. Can see why they'd want to cast Hugh Grant.
Damon & Cumberbatch may fit into the roles. Cooney & Grant may fit in.
Can't beat Roger Moore and Tony Curtis. No one can come close to their magic. This theme is pretty gangsta!

As a lover of the classic t.v.series from the 70s i must say i like this well done on revamping the old tune . oh and im English.

OMG!!! I am so happy someone else pictures Grant and Clooney as Sinclair and Wilde... I was so sad to learn they casted Ben Stiller (I think he bought the rights), so thanks for letting us dream on with this terrific trailer.

All that hard work and you gave the titla name as "The Persuders". One of the many shows that fed my childhood in the 70's. I've gotten old too quickly but thankfully, UA-cam threw me a rope and shouted "Hey? You want nostalgia....?".
I agree, definitely not Hugh Grant - it would have to be DANIEL CRAIG as LBS (plenty of footage of him in an Aston, eh!) and George Clooney as DW (and maybe Michael Gambon as Judge Fulton??). Would love to see a video composite with those actors in it (hint hint ...) Tony Curtis and Roger Moore had fantastic chemistry together, they looked as if they ad libbed and joked their way through every episode and were so natural! They must have liked each other in real life! LOVE THE VIDEO - well done!

I think this was a truly inspired trailer, and YES, I liked your casting ideas very much -- take it from a fan from the old days, excellent choices. And geez, I've always loved that theme music by John Barry, it's too damn great!

I'd got with Hugh Grant and Robert Downey Junior - and seriously, this would have legs. Someone could make a bucketload of money by making a new version of this.

I don’t think there’s anyone who could do the Brett Sinclair part. It was written totally around Roger Moore. It’s not repeatable.
The original team is the best. However if I could pick from any era a second favourite choice for me would be James Cagney as Danny and Anthony Valentine as Lord Brett.

Very well done. Although I can't see Hugh as Brett Sinclair. The Persuaders got into fights, I can't see Hugh punching someone in the face. Colin Firth could work as some have said in the comments. The cars are a little too fancy, you need an Aston for a start. I think a DB9s and an F430 would be better.

I did, however, think that both actors would not cut it stacking up to Curtis & Moore. Clooney would be too stiff, Grant too soft. The original just had something very special about it... Thanks for the video, though...

You're right. A number of articles on the web. But nothing listed on IMDB about Coogan or Stiller doing the persuaders. It could work though, if it wasn't turned into a complete comedy. Needs to have some serious stuff.
You're thinking of Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian. Nothing is listed about The Persuaders.

Someone should make a new one, but instead of Clooney and Grant (Whom are both too old now) , it should be with Henry Cavill and Robert Downey Jr.
