well, in Italy fishkeeping is not really that common of an hobby, in fact there are not really a lot of fish stores. Especially if you go south. For fish many import from Germany. Also if you want to see a fish only store you should visit the smaller ones, as the larger ones aren't really meant to be fish stores, but outdoor stores with also some fish. That being said there are some little hidden gems, as the smaller stores are usually kept by hobbyists, and they have really beautiful and complex tanks
Same in the US. Those looked like our major pet stores like PetSmart, PetCo, etc. (minus the patio furniture). I also wonder if importing to different countries has an economic effect on the hobby as well in EU, seeing as the countries are so small it might not be profitable to import say south american cichlids all that way. He drove 8 hours and crossed 5 countries...I'd barely leave my state! lol
@@taylorhale1035 well usually doesn't take very long to ship. One or two days give or take. Or at least that's how long it takes for my local fish shop.
Regarding the shops i think it depends on the part of the country, i personally live 1 hour to Milan (my city is little), in my area there are few but good shops
Be careful with Rainbowfish. After getting them, you might start getting rid of all your cichlids to make room for more Rainbowfish. That’s what happened to me.
The angelfish tank was gigantic❤

Awesome tanks!!!! My most favorite ones were the angelfish with the school of neon tetras and secondly the discus tank
