    I PARTIALLY agree with what you're saying here except what I would do is establish the Iron Cross where I have $25 on 5, $30 on BOTH 6 & 8 and have $15 in the Field bet and just HOPE they do JUST 2 throws without sevening-out and just collect at LEAST $30 either PER person or AFTER they establish their point because I have seen TOO MANY PEOPLE 7-out in from 3-6 throws, and of COURSE you have those random shooters who will seven out RIGHT after they establish their point or the 2nd throw after they have established their point! So, to me, this would be the SAFER option! And, of course, the OTHER advantage would be if they roll a 2 or 12 in those 2 throws you get double your field bet and is some casinos, triple for 12!

    Two problems with 2 rolls and dump. 1) is you will miss out on possible long profits rolls. 2) if POS (point out 7) it will takes 2-3 rolls to make up the losses.

    I usually don't bet on other shooters. And when I do I have a couple rules. Rule 1. Watch them roll once before I bet on them so I can evaluate their skill level.
    Rule 2. Only make place bets on their first roll. After that take them down or turn them off.
    But my go to bet is to wait until the shooter gets to 6 rolls and then start betting on big red. And I makes bets that will make me at least $100 profit. I will chase this bet for 6 rolls. Very few shooters hit 12 rolls. If they make 12 rolls then shut down and wait on next shooter. Once that shooter hits six rolls pick up where you left off on your big red bets and always bets enough to make at least $100 on the 7.
    A $3000 bankroll will cover you for 3 shooters. And for you to lose all three shooters will have to rolls 12 times w no 7s. That's 36 dice rolls w no 7s. And there is less than 1% chance of that happening. It's literally the safest bet in the entire casino. Your essentially betting incremental bets up to $3000 that the dice can't be rolled 36 times with no 7s.

    Pretty safe strategy but boy, oh boy, we HATE that point seven on any strategy unless we're on the dark side. Too many of those and a shift in strategy is due or it's time to find another table. You are very wise not worrying about the money you are missing. As John Patrick says and its a deep point..."It's not how much you win. It's how LITTLE you lose!" Sage advice from an experienced gambler.

    I really enjoyed watching/listening to the informative information on this type of strategy. I do play at the casinos, but I also play quite a bit of online live craps. Which is why a random shooter strategy makes sense. So what I’m asking is what would be the best for say a bubble craps/Online Live table for someone with a smaller bankroll.

  • @mcchacho1
    @mcchacho1 3 роки тому +1

    If you were playing this in the casino, what would your bankroll be? The $90 setup would be almost half of the $200 and would be pretty risky to a PSO which happens a lot it seems. Also, where I play the table minimums are $15 Would you put out $90 each on the 6 and 8, (5 x minimum) $30 on 5 and 9, (2 x minimum) and $15 on the 4 and 10, for a total of $270?

    • @El_Toro

      That’s correct for the setup. One thing though, I don’t play this on a random shooter. I have another plan for random shooters.

      @@mcchacho1 😂, my mistake. Yes, most tables seem to be starting at $15, bringing the initial buy-in to the $270. I always recommend a 10x bankroll so the PSO’s don’t break the bank.
      At the current minimums, depending on bankroll, you might modify to drop the 4 & 10, start the 5 & 9 at (table minimum), then 6 & 8 at ($30 each). This would keep your bankroll under 1k and still allow enough for 10 sessions.
      Thanks again for the positive feedback!

      @@El_Toro Hey man, thought I would report in as I played this strategy yesterday for a few hours on a $10 table. So with the 1,2,5 strategy it was $180 laid out plus the ATS. I did not play the ATS on every shooter. I have never been at a table yet where I have rolled it, or any other shooter rolled it. Man I got killed over the first 5 shooters. PSO, craps numbers then 7, hit a 10 or 4 for $18 or 5 and 9 for $28 then seven out.. Down over $800 in like a half hour. Stuck with it and it took some time but I eventually came all the way back and quit up $150 or so after tipping, etc. I have to say I did play with some modifications when I was so far down. If I hit a six or eight immediately after the come out, I let it ride for a couple of more rolls and collected a second time on the 6 and 8 quite a few times. After 3 rolls or so without hitting the 6 or 8 a second time, I took them down. Sometimes when I took the 6 and 8 down after hitting one of them and rolled crap numbers and or 6s and 8s, I would move the money on the outside numbers to the 6 and 8. ($30 each) Also, when I cleared the table and it seemed to be a hot roll, rather than just waiting, I put $5 each on the hard ways and pressed them up if I hit. That worked a couple of times also. I played the strategy when I rolled also and kept the same dollars on the point vs. putting them on the odds. All in all it worked out in the long run, and I would have won pretty good if I did not have such bad luck in the beginning. You need the bankroll to back it and the willingness to keep going when it is not going your way. Oh, I also took everything down between 6 and 10 rolls and if I saw a few 10s or 4s hit, and was up around 10 rolls or more I would lay the 10 or 4 for $140. If the shooter hit a point, or if the roll kept going to 15 or 20 rolls I took them down. That worked like 5 out of 5 times. It is difficult to sit tight when your off and the shooter keeps hitting box numbers.

    Well Mr El Toro......this is the first video of yours I've seen, and I must say I like what I saw. You follow the same pattern I do in hitting it quick and quitting it. Only difference is i'm an inside guy and will only go outside if I see an inordinate amount of 4s or 10s, but i'm usually never in more than 4 or 5 paying points, if that. The random shooter is the biggest enemy to your bank roll.....even more so than the house, and I think you have a really solid strategy here of either being able to make money off of them, or to lessen your losses on them. I like it. I think I would probably go 10/20/30. Take down the sister number after a hit, and then take them all down after 2 hits. If a 7 out hits before 2 hits, I would increase to 20/40/60 up to a level 5 of 50/100/150. Dropping down a level every time 2 hits occur before a 7.

    This is the best strategy I've found for betting on others. Most strategies are about putting more money on the table when the odds of a 7 are becoming higher and higher. Those strategies don't make sense and don't work. Since using this strategy, I've consistently had modest wins at the table. I now feel better leaving the table with modest wins rather than the highs & lows of blow up losses and blow up wins. I guess I'm maturing as a craps player. My motto for the craps table: pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered. This strategy is right in line with this motto. Thank you, El Toro!!!!! This video has sincerely changed my life. #forevergrateful

    I started playing in Jan of this year after spending years in poker tournaments. At 61, they're getting to long, so during one tourney, I watched UA-cam videos on the very basics of how to play. Thanks to
    StageTechMarine(among the other 'greats') for the basics and, especially the $300 low risk strategy that involves playing the Don't Come. It was more complicated than most, but it worked wonders. From there, I stumbled upon the Bone Thrower, and I was hooked. I built my first throwing table out of an 8' plastic table with cardboard for the walls. At least I had a piece of diamond rubber for the back, and I made it a somewhat bouncy table with underlayments. Now, I've built a 4' X 6' throwing table that is the real deal and I throw constantly.
    Luckily, I came across El Toro recently and everything he says makes mathematical sense to me. Your videos are excellent, the sound is perfect, and you are very easy to listen to. Going to Vegas next week and will definitely be using this system of playing random rollers, as well as your $200/$1000 system.

This is a good balance and if you can stay patient and disciplined, there’s no reason you can’t win 20% of your bankroll on a consistent basis. I see so many people at the table just press, press, and press and NEVER put any chips in their rack. 45 minutes later they are scratching their head wondering why they are broke! They hit the ATM and buy in for another $500-$1,000 and repeat the process. It’s sad to watch. If everyone was just happy to win that 20%, casinos would be cringing!

      Hey Scott, thanks for watching. Your absolutely on target with how you approach a random shooter. So this strategy I developed was designed using probability and mathematical outcome of dice around random shooters. One to two hits is good, however you are leaving yourself just a bit short on profits, based on probability outcome. My experience has been that most random shooters will reach between 4 and 6 rolls this gives us between 3 and 5 point hits. By the way, your great uncle is correct!, one of my favorite proverbs is "Fools rush in where Angels fear to tread".

    Hi El Toro, nice channel you got here. A couple of things.
    First, the Don't Pass and DC are not contract bets. Once established you can take them down whenever you want. Though it is not suggested as you have an advantage once you get past the Seven and Eleven. It is the best bet on the table and far superior to the Pass. I hate the Pass Line as well and don't play it until I shoot.
    For all good shooters and aspiring good shooters don't overlook the Dark Side when waiting for your own roll. Assuming you will be making the bulk of your profit on your rolls betting the Don't is a good and less volatile way to play until it is your turn. So, minimum bet on the Don't Pass or DC. If the shooter knocks you off then either switch, minimum on the 6&8 and build up, or just wait for the next shooter. Roughly 60% of all shooters don't make a single point so betting the Don't can be very effective.
    If betting the Place Bets in this manner works for you then hey don't change what ain't broke. But, it seems that betting that much on random shooters is just unnecessary. I rather save it for my own rolls.
    Scared money don't make money.... I say Dumb money don't make money, Smart money makes money.
    Cheers

      That's not technically correct. The house edge on Pass/Come is 1.41%. The house edge on Don't Pass/Come is 1.36%. The difference is pretty small. Over 1000s and 1000s of plays you will see a small difference. However, I feel that saying that Don't Pass is far superior is purely hyperbole.

    If you had to play something, like I do locally, to play the ATS. What would you play? I usually put out a $5 Field and if I win the field play the 6&8.

    • @El_Toro
      @El_Toro  5 років тому

      Good question. So if the Casino mandates that you play at least table minimum in order to play the ATS, and lets say I didn't like to bet the way I do. I would have to play the Hard Ways for $1/$2 each heavy on the hard 6 to complete the $5/$10 minimum. When it hits, press up one unit and take the remainder to my chip rack. This way I'm at least in it for more than just one roll, 50/50 bet win/loose. You could still add the 6&8 to hedge the hard way bet.

      Minimum bet on the Don't Pass or Don't Come. This will keep you in the game without risking a lot while you play the ATS. Best bet on the table. And, it is not a contract bet. You can bring it down if you want. Though it is not smart once the roll is established.

    Special thanks Bone Thrower, El Toro and Vincent Armenti.
    Started with $1500 buy in from SL1. Hit a Tall with the Legions throw with about 20 rolls or so, 16 inside score hits started with $66 inside to $110, then regressed to $66, repeat, repeat.
    Took a long break (over night) and could’t get SL1. Had to settle for the corner by the DC. What to throw? I saw other good shooters stacking there dice and dropping then near the wall. I went with Armenti’s 12, 12 stacked. Don’t know how many throws but after using El Toro’s 270 across ($90each 6/8, $30each 5/9 and $15each 4/10), regressing to get my $270, 40 minutes later I made over $3000 profit on my roll alone!
    As you can see, I did have some losses prior to the 40 minute roll, but right now my $1,500 looks like $4,330 after a couple hundred dollars in tip to the dealers. The dealers hit hard ways and two All Tall while I was there with come cash as well.
    Just wanted to give thanks to those that helped me!

      That’s interesting, I haven’t had that issue yet . The difference might be the casino requirement is for you to have table minimum at risk per spot. So a 25 minimum table would require you to play 25/25/25 ( S/A/T ) or you can choose to play just 25 on the Small only. This also meets the casinos at risk table minimum policy.

    • @El_Toro
      @El_Toro  5 років тому +1

      Sandra, Great question. So a random shooter would be someone that will consistently shoot between 6 and 7, 7's out of 36 dice rolls. Most folks don't practice this, so you are correct in saying that you should assume everyone. If you practice, then you need to strive to get your 7 of 36 down from 7 to 6 then 5 and so on. This should be practiced daily so you get a fair sampling of the type of shooter you are.
      Thanks again for the great question and positive feedback.

Throw dice and whatever the layout is when the cards r put down, say the roll is 6 2. If the 1st card is a 6 and the 6th card is the 2 then that's a 7 out. No that’s not the correct play there. As you saw she rolled the 4 before the 10 or 7. With one number left for the all, you lay that number for as much as needed for the same payout of the ATS win. So he should have put a lay on the 10 for ~420 to guarantee a ~210 win.

      @@El_Toro I found that with another controlled shooter, I would go down low enough to recoup my $270 (for the next shooter) and start pressing up from there. Getting up to 60 on the 6/8 really helps. Take $10 from that win and increase 6 & 8 $30 each. Then constantly increase 6/8 $30 each and 5/9 $25 each. I had $390 on both the 6 & 8 when he 7out. I don't regret losing the $780, I made much more on the 12 or so increases along the way. If 6/8 is the point once I get my $270 back, I take the money on the point and move all but the minimum to the non-point 6/8 and still increase $60 just as if I had both numbers, but only increase one number by $60.
