The bed looks a lot like the old-style hospital beds - especially the sheets - like the ones they used in England. There's also a wheelchair (John was in a wheelchair after the crash), a bird (John describes the significance of the bird in one of his interviews), nails, honey, purple sheets and of course the women. It's a really interesting music video - it looks like some sort of visual representation of different objects and themes that were important to John during his recovery and after the crash, as well as a homage the album cover for Purple itself. Great video!

I think the girls in this video are supposed to be a real-life representation of the girls on the "Purple" album cover. This video gives the impression that they all suffer from mental illness, and the feathers/honeybees/etc they're adorned with represent bigger-than-life/goddess versions of themselves that they see in their heads. When the illness gets to painful to bear, these are the fantastic alter personas they like to slip into. Just my interpretation.
I bet she's the model John used when he painted the cover art. He's always used real life models for the cover arts, except for the new album "Stone". There he actually used statues from an actually cemetery as his models.

Cuz the most talented and baddest babe on guitar that I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, Gina Gleason, just joined them (and left a sweet gig on the Michael Jackson Cirque show to do so) just over a year ago. They couldn't have found a better fit to replace their last guitar player. And she kills it live! You can tell by how she gets so much into her playing, that she's doing what she was born to do, and livin the dream! If you ever get the chance, if they ever come around your town, do yourself a huge favor and go see them. I promise you will be glad you did.
why censor the nips i mean i understand youtube user agreement yadayada, but they showed the cover of purple which cleary shows nudity why censor the artistic quality of the music video other than that great video compliments the song perfecltly

Yellow And Green is probably my fav album of the last few years, and was originally let down by Purple. Thankfully though it is def starting to grow on me. Still love me some Baroness though, and look forward to all they do!
Just bought the album. Great stuff! My iTunes version seems to have succumbed a bit to the loudness wars issues-some bad clipping on it and overcompression. The uploads on UA-cam don't seem to have that issue, so I think it might just need a new iTunes upload if that can be done.

It seems like you guys brought the Artwork of the album to life! also i am saying this after watching the Making Purple videos wherein in one of the videos you explain the concept behind the Artwork (i think it was Synesthetics) so far the best album i've heard in the past 4 years though i hope you guys release an uncensored version of the video soon maybe on the band's website or something Cheers and Keep it up guys :)
This song (and album) is outstanding. I have to wonder if there are former church goers in the band (or at least they were dragged there by parents) as there seems to be a bit of hymn like influences in the music.

I caught these guys at download festival, during a Zippo session where they performed an acoustic session. It made the rest of their stuff sound rubbish in comparison and its pretty good.
Love this song, the woman has an astonishing voice. But WTF is the deal with volcano-puking Yoohoo? And why is she dragging a horse around? Confounding mysteries.

Heard them play with Isis. Took me a while to come back and delve into their back catalogue. Glad I did.
