Thanks!
Thank YOU for such a kind gesture!
I’m starting these now for little stocking stuffers!
I always say you need a television show of your own. Fabulous
Thank you for the 3 ideas with the same pattern. They will make a great item for next year's church bazaar. I donate things to a local church to raise money for the church. They also would be so easy to chain piece.
I love this! Thank you.
I am so glad! Happy sewing, DIY'ing and memory making this Holiday season :)
You used so many ways to make these little bags. They are all very cute little Ditty bags. Thank you.
Sich a clever snd easy way to make a lined pouch! Thanks! (Idea: try using a large toothed white zipper and add funny eyes to one side. Monster waiting to eat up your stuff!😊
I love your shirt!
I made the boxy pouch from upholstery fabric remnants. My son likes to save his change for a while before he takes it to the bank, and this pouch makes a handy place to collect it.
You are fantastic 😍
Thank you!
My pleasure, make sur eyou also check out the Google Drive from your Members Perks - there is a full PDF catalogue of all gift ideas I have done over the years!
Thank you so much I really really enjoyed watching you create these two different types of pouches. Great idea too. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤❤
So cute!
Great way to us scraps
Hi, thank you for these ideas. You are an excellent, patient teacher and I've learned so much from you. 😊
Love these!! 😍
Like them all. Thanks much.
Thank you, Judy!
Super.😅❤ I learned a lot.
Just found your channel. Thank you for sharing.
Love these zipper porches
So cute, thank you so much. I love watching your videos and the gifts are my favourite, right now anyhow as I'm making gifts. FYI you have a great voice and please don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise, it's yours !!!
Vielen Dank für die einfachen Varianten ❤
Cosi, you're welcome :) I hope it brings you ideas and creativity :)
Great instructions! I want to give these a try!
Love your videos! You are such a pro, both in front of the sewing machine and in front of the camera!
I am looking forward to cold and rainy days to have more time for doing them :) Thank You for clear explanation and have a good day :)
I agree....nice to sew on a dreary rainy day
These are so cute! Thanks
Because you are binding straight edges, the strips don't need to be cut on the bias. IThese little pouches are adorable. I like to make things like this and use them for gift bags, varying the sizes.
These are a good way to practice putting in zippers if they make you nervous.
These are super cute, thanks Alisa 🙂👍
Thank you!😀💛👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I'm thinking about making a larger version of this idea to make a fabric bag tissue holder for my car and a smaller version to use for doggie clean-up bags when walking my dog . If they work out- I'll make them as gifts.
Many thanks for this!
I have a link to a tissue holder that is reversible and no exposed seams if you’d like I’ll send you the link
I love you. You are so sweet and thoughtful. Your videos are very straightforward and your projects are awesome and useful!!❤
Would recommend doing some
Quilting or using a heat n bond to secure these 2 pieces together.
Cute. Thank you 🪡🧵👍🏻
Great video, really clear precise instructions to follow. Thank you.😊
How adorable!!! I'll be sewing all three for future craft shows! 😊
So 🥰
Thank you as always for taking the time to share your projects with us
I’m going to make this. Thanks for the video!❤
I love it. Looking forward to do it. ❤Thanks
Thank you for great ideas once again !
Thank you
I folded my edges in. It was a bit thick, but i sewed slowly a nd turned my hand wheel to prevent my needle from breaking. So, no need for fabric glue. These are lovely affordable gifts and can also be adjusted to suit your needs, like pencil holder or for make up. Thank you so much Alissa.
Oh, that's awesome!!! It is actually one of the reasons why I did not show it with folded edges, as you said - a bit thick, but if it works, then it works, right?! :) :) :) So glad you found this useful and you are right - pencil holder, wallet, make up bag and etc - so many possibilities, you are so right!!!
Terrific video! I'll be making some of these this season. Thanks bunches.
Hi I love the gift ideas thank you have a blessed day 😊
As always a wonderful video for cute and practical gifts! Thanks for sharing your talent with us! 💖
I do like the “boxy” one, but the first style seems, to me at least, to be the most useful. Thanks for a great gift idea!
Absolutely, I am the same way - the first style can be a wallet, little cosmetic pouch, make it bigger and it can be a pencil case or whatever is needed :)
Love them! Thank you for sharing.
Glad you like them, Barbara :) i hope this gift series gives you new and fun ideas :)
Love your videos. You're so positive!
Excellent!!! 😍😍😍
Beautiful, I will try to get over my fear of zippers. For my Bernette I bought a 1/4 inch foot on Amazon for £ 4.00 I think and it fits well. I am now using my new machine, the Brother Inovis F420
and I love the new machine so much, and I do not have to mortgage my house to buy feet as the ones for Bernette and Bernina are usually quite expensive.
I have a suggestion regarding zippers because I’m the same way, are use the 1/4 inch Wunder tape but I think it also comes in maybe one 8 inch I know that you are metric but you guys understand our old style lol
Also I do not know if you can get this in the UK, but there is a product called acorn glue or acorn seam align something like that and they also have something called easy press pen the stuff is phenomenal and the glue comes out in these microscopic dots so you can always glue your zipper on
And then there’s another product called steam a seam lite. That does come in a 1/4 inch roll and you don’t need to iron it on only if you want it to be permanent so that’s another way to get those zippers to stay and you don’t have to worry about pinning.
If you are interested in that glue, let me know. I’ll send you the link.
Another great video. We'll demonstrate. Fun quick and easy
You are so beautiful and I love the way to speak. Are you an American or mixed. Sorry for asking. I've been an avid fan of yours, love your tutorials
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I finally conquered my fear of zippers and made 2 coin pouches ❤ one for my daughter and one as a birthday gift for my friend. Now I want to make more 😅
This is adorable
Super cute idea Alisa. Love those pouches :)
Thanks so much, Agata! 😊
Lovely little pouches. I find it easier to leave the needle down when lifting the foot to move the zipper pull. That way nothing moves 🙂
Hello there :) for sure, but it depends what foot I am using. With 1/4 foot I can't get the zipper pull past without lifting the needle.
Thank you! :o)
The first one, in a bigger size snd made of PUL (polyurethane laminate) fabric makes a great "wet bag' for swimmers or moms of young babies who need a way to contain baby's clothes that get dirty while they are out and about. The bag can be machine washed and dried! PUL comes in lots of fun prints.
Absolutely, great idea! Love it!
Could you possibly provide a link to where you get your polyurethane laminate?
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:

Last one I use for poop bags. I just use a grommet for the other side.

Newbie here lol, Do I really need to use bias tape?
You can just use a straight grain piece of fabric, but bias tape is easier to handle for such small projects because it does not fray as much as the straight grain. You can cut your own little pieces of bias tape from fabric scraps- win win.
What’s the glue you used called?
Fray check
Thank you so much for your help :)
I love these, I'll have to make some! One question: with the last one, after you sew the corners to make the box shape, do you clip the excess fabric (the little triangle piece) before turning them right side out?
She probably did otherwise, it would be so bulky since it’s so small
You may want to find another tutorial where they do the boxed corners before they put everything together
@@dcwatashi Yes, I was just wondering. I've done boxed corners on things, but it might have been confusing for someone who hasn't.
Here’s what you do, you fold it in 😂
Don't you mean to say: "inside out" not "wrong side out" ? Very cute bags, and they're so easy..esp the boxed bag. I like the inner seams finished, as they look more professional. Attention to details makes things look like the creator cares more about what they produce.
Bonjour, pouvez-vous mettre les mesures en cm? Car je ne comprends pas. Vous parlez trop, vite et la transcription est mauvaise. Merci.
