The French Deck is incredibly fun to play with. I really like the direction WARNO is taking in general. Eugen is adding a lot of nice quality of life stuff in the options, especially regarding unit control, the audio is great and getting better and visually the game is amazing. I was a bit put off at the beginning by some issues and the lack of content, but this is slowly shaping up to be their best game yet.
In keeping with historical accuracy 1966-2004 if you select France as NATO you basically lose control and the AI plays for you and ignores your inputs. Super realistic.
France hasn't been a part of nato since the 1960s and wasn't really a military ally prior to 2004 or so. They didn't forward deploy their army to even fight a war against the Warsaw pact and wouldn't be here to fight this battle. Nato wasn't allowed to use their ports if war broke out so they were completely useless to the west and their equipment they had wouldn't of held up in a high intensity conflict against the Warsaw pact if they did try. People just pretend like France was a nato country now for some reason. They were far from a hostle country however and cooperated with nato and held military drills together at times and fought in the first gulf War as part of a coalition
But the past is the past, that's not how it is today. It's good to know your history but a waste of energy to harbor resentment. Most of those decision makers are 6ft under and long gone.
As a French, I really like how they understood our military. Strong emphasis on stealth, speed, nervosity and recon to hit hard and hide back to hit again from another location.
"surblinde" is pronounced "surblindé" with the french "é" and not "sur+blind+e" (that means "overarmored" btw) and the "escorte" is pronounced "escort" otherwise your pronunciation is pretty good awesome commentary as always

Good match, those AMX 30's are beasts against Infantry as hoped and I'm glad the Co-ax 20mm is effective. One hell of a blitz through the middle there though, you just kept knocking your opponent of his feet until you'd pushed him right off the island.
Id say sd44 as the game is very fast paced and rng can really hurt you if a vehicle is killed in one shot since they are so much more expensive in that game. Also you really have to play to your strengths as armored division’s really can’t fight in urban terrain and infantry cant stop armor in the open without great micro or luck.
i only watch your vids because of the cool close ups that you do ,can't get enough of them, i wish more youtubers did the same but they just stay zoom out the whole time so the videos are very boring, keep doing what you are doing pls
