I am very glad we have gotten an update, glad it's coming, and am excited for the cypher. That being said I remain adamant that this should've been handled better. Wanting to have something more concrete to show us is fine, but an explanation of the late verse combined with the editor travelling so much could've been shared on the kickstarter half a year ago. Instead we got dead silence. I say this as someone who uses Kickstarter as part of his profession, doing something like that is a great way to not get repeat customers. I'm sure this comes off angry because it's a youtube comment, but it isn't. I'm mostly just trying to say that if this isn't the "last dance" so to speak, if there's another cypher kickstarter in the future, the people who helped make it happen deserve to be kept in the loop as to the current state of the project.
Well said, and I'm glad to see Shofu liked this! I was worried from the start that this project would be arguably too much to handle alone. Especially after he basically said the same in the Kickstarter description. It may not have stopped the delay in the artist's verse, but it could have 1) pushed it up 2) helped him in all of the other aspects involved. :)
