“Not a farm turkey” should be the next THP t shirt.
Like the op if you agree
I enjoy the banter and discussions, making adjuustments to your plans in real time....
Its as close to an actual hunting trip without putting on your camo as you'll get. The humor of a bunch of hunting buddies in pursuit of wild game, this is what its like. Obviously you can't show the long treks through the woods because because a video would last forever, but for the most part it gives the inexperienced inexperienced or non-hunter a look into how enjoyable the (whole) experience experience can be.
Sorry about the typo repeating a couple words. Comments was doing something a bit weird....
Should have proof read it.
Have fun chasing those long beards.
From north central PA.
I love how Zach always asks questions and second guesses himself when hes a badass hunter😂😂. Nothing wrong with getting your buddies thoughts but zach brother go with your gut, i bet youre mostly correct🤘🤘. Great as always boys🤙💪💪🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks guys for the real life hunting play by play…. Make it fun and learning at the same time. Makes me want to be an intern…. You looking for a 62 year old turkey chaser…LOL!
Good luck boys!
Mikey in Waukesha 🦃
Just a tough game zone to hunt. I admire y’all’s commitment to stay there.
🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃 hunting
Zone 1 is difficult. SC turkey population has been on the decline for a few years.
This made me feel better this is how my days have been going down in Tennessee
Sometimes it all seems to be coming together, then it all goes south in an instant. That's turkey hunting. Nice to have real crows and woodpeckers do the locating calls for you.
Those big woods SC turkeys are tough to hunt. Best thing I ever learned to do is when you're calling and the gobbler answers is to move forward about 50 - 75 yards, set up and don't call anymore. He'll walk right into your lap. Unless he already has a hen with him usually comes right in. The key is to not call again after he answers. Good luck!
I’m glad I’m not the only one thinking this too! They should have been sitting there and got comfortable, eyes peeled because they will shut up and come in quite as a mouse. Especially if they’re closing distance like you said. I’ve been on the good and bad learning end of that situation a few times.
maybe. maybe not. it's like a chess game.
@@rodneyharouff5739 True. But when a bird comes in , doesn't it seem like he's always just out of gun range?
When you call and he answers he knows exactly where you are. That's why I always sprint toward him and set up quickly. Then, if he shows up he's in gun range. Just what works for me
@@precisionputtin it's whatever works. anybody's way of huntin' can work on any given day. that's what makes it so great!!
My buddy literally drove by y’all earlier while y’all was editing this
It has been both challenging and entertaining to say the least. It looks like ya'll are hunting some educated birds. Love what you're doing 😊
That hen spooked fast!
I tried turkey hunting a few years ago and was unsuccessful but your guys’ videos are getting me excited to try again this year!
In my case today it was indeed a stupid farm turkey super fired up gobbling every 5 seconds I kept creeping up just to see my neighbors have put a pen on the property line with a big white Tom
Love the videos guys and learned a lot from all of you regardless of everyone’s else input. I want to see y’all come a little further north from where y’all were into western North Carolina and try all those hunting tactics.
It’s been a few years since I’ve shot a Turkey but your videos always gets me excited before our season starts here in NY. They don’t even have to come into my calling, I just enjoy them answering back lol
Still haven’t gotten my first turkey after trying a few seasons ago, nothing beats the sunrise gobbles even if you go home empty handed 😂
@@brendenb9501dude I couldn’t agree more I’ve only shot one and it’s cause I snuck up on it never even had anything to do with calls but going out hearing gobbles close and getting them to respond for a bit and get a little closer answering you is heart pumping then even if they stop you can hear more and feel like your in the game even if your not. I’m a huge deer hunter but something about hear those gobbles got me hooked big time lol! Good luck bro and I’m from pa our season don’t start til the first few days of may this season! Good luck brother!!
Yours hunts are awesome looking forward to the next one
Excited to watch as always guys 🔥
Heck yeah guys!! Way to roost on of these SC birds!! 👍👍
That pic on Zach’s phone made me laugh out loud 🤣
Hang in there guys you'll get him.
You looked like Weird AL in I'm Fat!😂😂😂
great pest control, incredible range at any range👍🙏🙏
Good luck and stay safe
Zach where did you get the camouflage netting that is laid over your laps in the video?
Good video as always I live in the Carolinas deer and turkey down here are tough it seems they don’t respond as well as the game out west and northern states but sometimes things work out love the show y’all are the best in the business
I did always here this about South Carolina compared to my home State when it comes to Turkeys
@@americanagothic7851 I watch guys call in turkeys and rattle in bucks good luck with that in sc it can work but in a perfect situation if you say rattle bucks in sc anywhere I have been people look at you like your crazy it can work but it’s not common
We don't call them Farm Turkeys. We always called them "Yard Birds" 🦃
Zach you look like Bubbles from TPB!
I thought the same thing!
What camo netting did you use ?
Close one
Heard a woodpecker gobble 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 hilarious
My boys
When you can't be positive, stay neutral 😜
Keep it coming 👍👍
What brand of coffee is Zach drinking, he's out in lala land, and he may need some Imodium AD to stop him up a little, lol
Still some left over for k in Michigan
As far as public goes, K looks like a lot of National Forest land and the biggest zone in the LP. I’m ZE. Some good public and private, always good birds to chase around! Seems like a lot of great places to get on some toms in K
sooner or later you guys are going to get a turkey
30:00 Dang, Zach! What kind of food are you eating in that skunk whisperer hotel.anyway?
Your doing good, your hearing gobbles. Thinking the group might be jakes.
Great video as always! Dont listen to 😢 babies.
🔥
Call it different, but I thought I caught a bit of drama between the fellowship? Then they left? Hmmm
Get the high ground stay on the ridges. Stay in the woods. Quit going back to the truck take some food with you and hunt. You’ll get one
Are Turkeys still active in a pretty recent burn area?
Very active
Sunday hunting in Game zone 1 where y’all are was started this past deer season as long as you are on Sumter forest land
Not true, sunday hunting on public is still illegal for Turkey (which is bs). The only “public” you can hunt on Sunday is corps land. Not trying to show you up or anything just helping people from ending up with a ticket
❤
He's hung up. And waiting on you to come. Move, let him know where you are . Then be quiet. Or sneak in on him.
Time for another state.
I live in the upstate sc. It's been a rough go last couple years for sure.
The reality is you guys will figure them out. My reality is I usually dont have enough time to figure them out... my work schedule never allows me to hunt opening weekend. Once Im in the woods, the turkeys are already pressured. Keep up the grind guys. North and South Carolina are tough states.
I have a question for yall. I’m 14 and post deer, and turkey hunting on my channel. So I posted a turkey hunt where I shot and missed I was supervised the whole time. The video was up for 2 hours and then UA-cam took it down for child endangerment. But I watched a 6 year old kill one the other day. So why did they take mine down? And any suggestion?
My channel got deleted and i was always with an adult. The last video that got mine deleted was me trapping coyotes so go figure. And UA-cam would never give me an answer about what i was doing wrong in their opinion. They just hate kids enjoying the outdoors i think. If you want to keep your channel be careful. Best of luck.
Make sure when you choose your audience that you choose “ not for kids”. Just a thought.
They will take it down unless u choose not for kids happens every time
@@sasquatchboogieoutdoors9267 i did. They still deleted my channel
@@sasquatchboogieoutdoors9267 that didn’t work I had it on that
It's all about contents. Hunt
StrangleHOLD outdoorS
Bout like hunting turkey here in northeast Georgia
Same here in Arkansas. I've killed more turkeys than most people see in 10 life times. And now I can't even hear a gobble in my Ole honey hole. It's depressing when you know there's atleast a couple gobs there but they won't gobble.
If a farm turkey trespasses on public, could that be considered an invasive specie?
Why would you want to remove members of a population in an area that doesn't appear to have many birds in it.
Kieth Bon Jovi? I’m just asking because you look just like Jon.Check your dna pal, you gonna have a hefty inheritance coming your way.
Staches are out dated for sure.
Does Zach really go to Gay Pride Parades?
Really don't like his srache.
Seriously? More farting? It's kinda getting old. It's just not funny anymore when it's on every stinking video.
Leave and don't come back. Our WMA hunting sucks for everything and it is extremely overpressured for what low game populations we have. The last thing we need is yall causing even more pressure. We don't need anyone pimping out our valuable resources for profit. Leave and don't come back!
Public land is for public use. I guess you think that Carolinians should stay in their zone also?
Zach, you need to check out Fants Grove WMA (near Clemson) and the corps land around Lake Hartwell and Russell. Most of my birds through the years came from public land.
@@jaseast You have to be about the dumbest person in SC to literally mention a WMA name here. Unreal.
Wow.
@@jaseast you fanboy them so hard you're even willing to drop a WMA name? Unreal.
These really started going down hill when you guys brought in all these new guys. Sometimes less talking and more hunting would be better to watch. I take that back, all the time, not sometime.
The moo cow may have a chocolate marshmallow
and yet here you are watching it…I’ll see you on the next one too I guess
Someone's mad they don't get Invited to hunt with others.
Tons of other crap hunting shows out there with 7 minute long videos. These guys aren’t just a TV show, they enjoy teaching other hunters and showing how they come up with game plans whether successful or not. Go leave your negativity some where else friend.
Go lay down brah ....
Hey guys, I had invited you last year if you came to SC in the future that you are more then welcome to stay in a small cabin I have on some land off hwy 11 in game zone 1 that you can access from my land to a pretty big section of public land .If you ever come back the invite to y’all is always open just contact me.
