So far we like it especially the fam cam that’s a life saver when you have kids and/or a newborn. I’m not too concern with the backup camera quality. The ride is smooth and the interior is comfortable I love it.
Hello Sauer Horsepower. Good tour video of the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. For this 5th generation Jeep Grand Cherokee L there will be six trim levels right outta the gate. From the base trim to the high tier trim there will be the Laredo, Altitude, Limited, Overland, Summit and Summit Reserve. The one shown in this video is the Limited trim. This Jeep Grand Cherokee L has the 3rd row seating like the Dodge Durango, but the vehicle itself is built on a new different platform. It's built on a platform from Alfa Romeo. I assume the next generation Durango might be built on this new platform, but I'm not 100% sure. Let's see what happens when the time comes. As for the Jeep Grand Cherokee L from the exterior all models regardless of trim levels will have standard LED headlights and standard LED taillights. The outgoing generation Jeep Grand Cherokee has a combo of incandescent and LED lights for the taillights. When more vehicles arrive at the dealer, you can do upcoming videos for the higher trims like the Overland, Summit and Summit Reserve. For those three trim levels of this new generation Jeep Grand Cherokee L other nice features will be more leather surfaces, more wood surfaces, power folding rear seats, heated/ventilated rear seats, hands free foot activated lift gate, a McIntosh premium audio system with 19 speakers which includes a 10 inch sub-woofer in the back, adjustable air suspension, front camera, surround view camera and night vision camera. I currently have the third generation Jeep Grand Cherokee in the Limited trim and I have intentions on getting the Jeep Grand Cherokee L. However, I'm not going to get the first year of this new generation. I'll get the 2nd year of the new generation Jeep Grand Cherokee L so that it'll give me more time to put some money aside for it and couple more standard features will get added. When the time comes for me to get it I'll get it in the Overland trim nicely equipped with the legendary 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine. Based on pictures along with videos I've seen, the interior from the Overland, Summit and Summit Reserve trim levels looks great. The interiors from those three trims will give the interiors from the Cadillac XT6, Lincoln Aviator, Acura MDX, Mercedes GLE, BMW X5, Lexus RX 350L and Infiniti QX60 a run for their money.

I believe whatever they have going on with Daimler still in regards to that Platform runs out so it will be interesting to see. Because that current Platform is currently a Mercedes one that is used on one of their SUV's.

While at the dealer for few minutes the salesman told me the test drive can't be done today because the Jeep that was supposed to be the test drive one already got sold. Only thing the salesman said I could do is sit in it for couple minutes and that's it. He wasn't sure when the buyer would come out to drive off with it.
That third seat better fit an adult or it will for short in the 3rd row segment to the top sellers like the telluride, explorer and vw atlas. Those vehicles easily fits adults in the third row.
just got my limited yesterday.,I real like it so far except there no dimmable rear view mirrors ...They really cheap out in that .. very sad . my 2015 durango r/t was better equipped and cheaper priced
Ive been Driving Chrsyler my entire life and I cant recall not having any kind of Charging in the Center Council, thats pretty strange. I bet it has something to do with the Chip Shortage. My buddy recent Leased a 2021 Ram and it had the exact same radio from my 2015 Grand Cherokee.
It could be due to the chip shortage or it could be due to something that slipped through the cracks. For whichever reason it might be for no USB ports in the center storage console, it might make a return on the Jeep Grand Cherokee L for either the second year or third year of this new generation. Let's see what happens when the time comes.

I agree. The front end over-hanging hood design is apparently to add a sense of balance to the longer rear end of the GC L, but the recently released video of the upcoming GC 4xe has the same front end design so I don't know if I believe that. I was planning on replacing my current two row GC but not if they come with the GC L front end.
To each there own. I think it looks way better. So much more angular and aggressive yet simple and clean at the same time. The old one just looks so dated now that I see them side by side.@@hdrolling
For this new generation 5th generation Jeep Grand Cherokee L the headlight units are LED. The regular headlights are LED along with LED indicator lights and LED daytime running lights which are standard across all the trim levels. All the bulbs for the taillights are LED as well which are standard across all the trim levels for the Jeep Grand Cherokee L.
For the so so resolution on the back up camera it could be due to couple things. It could be due to the trim level of the vehicle or maybe a software update didn't take effect yet. I've seen the back up camera demonstrated on other You Tube channels and it looked good. The resolution was good based on what I saw and what the You Tuber said.

To me the new front looks horrible, we were ready to trade our 2017 summit but after seeing these we traded for a 2021 Tahoe.

@@jjchockey could be trim level, we had a 2017 summit. To me it looked much more sporty than this new design.
You mentioned LED daytime running lights pointing to the top, can you confirm that is actually on the limited? I think it’s only overland or summit
For this new generation 5th generation Jeep Grand Cherokee L the headlight units are LED. All the bulbs for the taillights are LED as well which are standard across all the trim levels for the Jeep Grand Cherokee L.
I think the interior LED lights are standard across all the trim levels, but I'm not 100% sure. I would have to get more info on that.
All trims on the 2021 Cherokee L will be LED.

Do rear captain chairs slide back and if how much.
I will have to take a look at another car to verify but I do not believe they slide back any further than what you saw them in the video.

Is this longer then the regular Jed grand limited. And how much longer. That might be a deal breaker fir me
It’s about 15 inches longer than the standard Grand Cherokee.

That is not standard on the limited, but it is on the higher trims (overland, summit) … it might be able to be added to the Limited as an option.
Limited X… hopefully Jeep doesn’t drop the ball.
