- Here is my Pyrotech guide for Swtor!
I made this guide from the perspective of a beginner and it is broken up into 6 Chapters. Im gonna be honest, I was planning on shelving this project after the Super Heated Fuel nerf. But I was asked to please keep going. YOU ASK AND YOU SHALL RECIEVE.

@@Cutsc3ne On my main toons I do Biochem so I can use the reusable medpac, adrenal and stims. Then usually I run Slicing and Scavenging.
Been getting into this game a lot lately and these are the guides I look for. I hope you do more for other specs and classes as well!

Great Video, never played Pyro on Rotation, because dps was ok, but never on top. After onehour, dps gets 2k better. Thanks a lot

Awesome video thumbs up! …But the moment when you realise that you are ”Pyrotech” and you don’t even have a spammable sustained flamethrower ability anymore (Shield Tech gets a less-awesome version of the old channeled flamethrower but it’s like limited to 3(?) sec fire and then 15-18sec ish cooldown ugh..

Hey I just recently discovered your vids. Super helpful. I played a ton of pyro and actually just recently picked up tank, and your guides have helped me with both.
Do you plan on making a guide for AP in a similar manner? How do you think it performs?
Thank you for the kind words!! I most likely will make a AP guide at some point but right now I'm wrapping up a Viru guide, then I'm gonna tackle IO and Vengeance! I Think AP is solid for fights that need quick burst but overall I think Pyro is much better.
@TakesCooosh thanks! I played a lot of vengeance for a while but more recently I've just been enjoying playing my PT for almost everything cause it's just more fun. Darkness has been pretty fun for me as well but it's bit of a steeper curve than ST
How difficult is it to play this? Does it have a huge apm requirement? I suck at high apm :))) Also thank you for the explanations :D Also how do you remember these abilities, do you put them in order in the quickbar? I do feel tempted :)) Also how is hatred assassin compared to this? Is it easier to play? I saw huge numbers on parsely... Are those operations number accurate? Should I stick to pyro? It feels fun for now but I am not sure if I will be very good at it. Maybe I will but my computer is a bit laggy at times(low performance laptop)

I recently switch to flame dissipation 2 weeks ago and it’s really fun in pvp and ops
It really is lol im so stubborn about it cause of what superheated fuel was but I really think flame dissipation is the play. The sustain is sooo good.
Is the simplified version of the rotation it looks intimidation a person with smol clumsy hands

Coosh, why is it that I follow your guide to a T, same exact gear, alac, crit, accu, etc.. I follow the same rotation and everything but I still fuck up on my heat management. How do I fix this???
Honestly heat management is a lot easier in most boss fights. I like parsing for learning the rotation and beating it into my head but with PT you can’t utilize on so many factors that help with heat in your kit. My main advice would be to use more rapid shots on the dummy. And also Flame Dissipation helps ALOT.
Sadly I'm still unable to play Pyrotech even after this guide. Any spec in the game has worked for me so far but not Pyro^^. For some reason, even when I do the *exact same* rotation as the top parses on parsely I always cap out on heat at some point (specifically at the first flame burst on the second row in your video). Honestly I have no idea why. Of course I could just use rapid shots instead of flame burst some times but that would reduce my damage by a lot. I use 1.4 GCD if that matters.
p.s. I have the same problem with AP. I'm also not a Deception Main😂 (but Virulence)
p.p.s. When using flame dissipation, that doesn't happen until the first searing wave in the fourth row
p.p.p.s. Works now if i use the rotation suggested by Mark Biggs guide after the opener. Problem's just that now I do 3k less dps than my average
I will say heat seems to be a lot more easier to manage in most boss fights cause of all the heat reduction and extra vent heat you can potentially get from close and personal. AP has always get clunky to me in regards of heat. And thank you for not playing Deception lol!!!
Stupid question maybe, but what dmg do you do at the dummy? Ik its way more infight bc leeching but just so I have an impression how good I'm doing. (Sry for language, no native speaker)

Can craft them with Biochem or buy them off the gtn! There are purple ones that have a one time use so you gotta buy ALOT or you can get max level on Biochem and then can use the reusable adrenals!

Rather than show us the no-lifer's maximum potential rotation, why can't you teach us an entry level rotation?
