Hey Carlie, my neice and nephew have just gone on to booster seats and they have a little red clip attached to it that you can run the seat belt through so that it's more comfortable and not cutting their neck, should mean they won't put the seat belt behind their backs like I remember we all used to do at their age for the same reason. They're on Amazon and pretty inexpensive but will make them more comfortable, I had no idea they existed, but its brilliant! Love seeing you all back! ❤

Your new baby is absolutely the most beautiful baby! Those eyes and that smile are gorgeous, all your kids are beautiful though so no surprise that Maxie is precious too! Love your large and funny family, enjoy them while you can.
As an adult, our son told us we should have explained the reason behind our discipline as often we would just give commands without him understanding why. So Lenny and the seatbelt, do our kids know why we say that or do we assume they do? I’m not criticizing at all as I sure the heck wasn’t a perfect parent. I’m hustling asking because of what our son said to us. I’m not saying Lenny doesn’t know; I’m saying it’s a great topic for the weekly parenting! Our situation was you can’t go to your friend’s house to sleep, but we didn’t add we didn’t know their parents or their household - a new friend.
I think Lenny is old enough to know that a seatbelt is for safety.
