Sounds good! So far, I've only seen you use the KEEBTAPE on YT, have you noticed a difference between it and traditional painter's tape sound wise? maybe do a comparison short?😅

PE foam for thock, KEEBTAPE for pop

@@suzuyama641 i dont really use PE foam. i think the switch pad that usually came with my kits are mostly poron!

For config 3 is the tape the big reason it makes is so deep sounding I love it and I’m trying to replicate this but on a 5075s
keeb tape does helps alot with that deep sound. although the alu body plays a big part on the keebs sound profile too. might not be exactly the same sound if done with a plastic case!

Overall great board, but I can’t get over the shift key on stock configuration it just sounds so rattly.
i know right, but i personally dont feel the need to buy extra stabs for 10-15 dollar. i got some patience to spare for wire balancing 😅
@@mczstudio it’s fine, config 2 and 3 tend to make it thockier and muffle the rattle a lot more.
@@mczstudioYou should also try the Qk65 it’s a great keyboard and it’s blowing up right now. It probably would go great in a video

I’m new to this whole building a keyboard thing. If I were to buy all the parts to make a keyboard exactly like this is it as difficult as say building a PC in terms of messing something up and losing your money?

ca air feels slightly smoother! but it wont matter if you planning on lubing them!
This keyboard sounds very bad stock, it seems that they designed it with very little care for every figuration and just promoted it as a foamed out, sound-deadened hype train keyboard. In my opinion, this keyboard is a waste of money. North facing, bad gasket implementation, and as a result sounds bad unless full to the brim with foam and tape. I miss top mount keyboards....
imo, very few board sounds absolutely amazing when stock! thats what mods are for 😁
@@mczstudio it is all preference in this hobby, but PE foam and tape mods make all keyboards sound extremely similar, and the mods are so oversaturated so you hear it a lot. I don't find the mods advantageous at all, unless you want a generic sound. This is why I encourage actual build quality, keyboards like the Mode65 are pure examples of a well designed board. South facing setup with QMK, a classic top mount design that has three mount variations, and even more material options, allowing for different sound profiles. The top mount implementation is superb, and the isolation is optional.

i think you can check the RGB hotkeys from the user manual from the box. you can download Akko Cloud Driver too

i used krytox 205g0 for stem and housing, 105g0 for the springs 😁

they are ~ but i think depends on who produce or sell them, mine happen to be a good quality one for jus about 20 bucks

Any idea what is causing so much ping?, I have an akko board as well and even with the force break mod, it still have some case pinging. It is reduced with the tape mod but still wonder if any one found a better way.
Did you try lubing your switch springs? Could be those!
you might want check if case are screwed tightly, or a case foam perhaps?
@@mczstudio You are correct, loosening the screws actually helped out alot for the sound. I didn't even know i had the screws so tight. Thank you Otkey for your suggesting as well. I'm currently not sure if that would help, but i had previously lubed my switches on spring contact points too from the bottom to the top.
