Agree. Whenever they are moving they will still vote Dems and possibly ruining another entire State. That's scary. There's should be a law where you can't vote for a state unless you lived there for at least 7 years, but from a country that doesn't ask for an ID before exercise the right to vote what do you expect.
We should regulate who can vote where after moving as well as the housing market to protect locals. Its ridiculous that people in California can sell their house, move to Florida and basically buy 2 houses with the cash made from the sale in Cali. Same with NY and wherever else.
I left California because I got tired of my vote not counting, but yeah I get what you’re saying. Look at what they are doing to Tennessee and Arizona. Damn shame.
I left California in 2022, broke the golden handcuffs, and moved to Idaho. The freedom and sanity found here is still a culture shock. For the first time in my life, I am living in America.
@srhs... Right there! You exposed yourself, it's all about "cultural wars and shock". I get it. But don't spew your political BS about the state that are not the FACTS. Come back in 5-10 yrs, the CA will still be the 5th largest economy on earth. You can't change that no matter what BS you say. Cheers 😅
I currently live in California and I’ve been here my entire life for the last 42 years. Let me tell everyone………. It sucks and I can’t wait to leave!!!!
Not true🤨 they treat themselves and foreigners and pedophiles better than the people of California and the stupid people that vote blue they need to go with the governor real talk
I hope your kids aren't going to public school. Cause that will fuck them up anywhere. Hardcore Lgbt indoctrination in every US state. But I respect you for leaving!
Can I ask where you landed? My business is mobile, so we're not tied here. My wife has been adamantly against moving, but I finally dumped the financial realities on her. If she earns half the money we can stay. She can step up, or we can move. The trouble is that I have no idea where to go. Nevada has some advantages, and I have friends that live there. Anyway, grats for getting out. Hopefully I'm not far behind you.
@@ChrisFoxWritesif you have no reason to go back to California, like for family or what not, move farther away than Nevada, and... consider states other than the obvious ones that Californians move to. You will be happy and love a great life!
100% agree with PBD here. I’m a property owner in a conservative county in California and I’m staying to fight for our values. Conservatives still outnumber liberals, just not in LA or Bay Area.
I’m in LA, it is a Democratic stronghold. Unfortunately it seems too far gone for people to listen to reason. They’re blinded by their hatred for trump and republicans, and they revel in their hatred in the most smug way.
The best way to fight that nutfuk crowd is to prepare for the impending collapse and just sitback and let the dems destroy themselves. Cali is already past the point of no return. Let it implode, then conservatives should rush in to lead the rebuild
Back in 2015 I was 25, still living in my childhood home in California. I was constantly doing the math and trying to figure out how I was going to afford rent and still pay my bills and save money for my future, but unfortunately it proved to be futile. Broke my heart because it wasn’t from a lack of effort or desire to stay in California but it just wasn’t happening. A friend of mine had moved to Texas a couple of months prior and offered me a sofa to sleep on so I packed up and went. Two weeks later I had a great job and I was off the sofa and into my own apartment, saving money. Now I am a proud homeowner, and happily married. I still miss my family and California sometimes, but to move back would mean giving up all of the things I have gained here in Texas. I was a liberal when I was in California now I vote Conservative. I hope California finds a way to recover from the liberal grip the career politicians have on it, but I don’t see it changing anytime soon. The liberal mindset targets young and inexperienced voters and once indoctrinated they vote the way Sacramento wants. It took me seeing a different approach to get me to wake up and realize that the problem wasn’t me, but the State I was living in.
What and who are calling out the "liberal" shots in California? We need to name names to identify who we, as citizens, can support and vote for. Newsom? Garcetti? Bass? I did not vote for any of these characters. Sometimes we must move geographically in order to pursue a higher quality of life and opportunities for ourselves
I truly enjoyed reading this. Born and raised in Ca here, central valley, and moved to bay area in ‘08. It has been an extreme challenge living here both mentally and emotionally. Ive always stuck to my guns as a deep red. Im dying to get out of here, just waiting on the sidelines for the dust to settle economically.
We moved out of CA in June 2018. Best move I ever did. I Dont go back now even to visit. We really dont want to spend one cent to support that totalitarian regime.
Born and raised in CA. I Spent thirty nine years there. I was in business for fourteen years in California and had thirty plus employees. I Left in 2020 and I will never come back to that shit hole.
I too was born and raised in Ca, the Best thing I ever Did is took my Retirement and Ran for it Far from California. The Best thing I ever Did was leave California.
born and raised in Northern CA. Other than living overseas in Japan in the 80s for 3+ years, it was always a manageable lifestyle. Raised two kids; both still in the State. Daughter is successful and a completely woke college professor; a son who just bought his first home in the LA area and doing well (thankfully) but my wife and I left for retirement in the Philippines 9 years ago. If we had stayed, we would STILL need to work and couldn't ever fully retire. Done with California.
Crossed border from Chihuahua in 1977. Work d under table for contractors in construction. i now own successful plumbing business in two states California is most successful. Yes I did become citizen in 1982.
The worst thing is that many leave California, but take their failed ideas with them. I have a friend who moved to Texas, but still spouses very left ideas when it comes to government and their reach on everyday life.
agreed Miguel. That's why it is sometimes better to stay and speak up because these policies spread everywhere, unless the state has a governor courageous enough to say, no, like Kristy and Ron.
VERY TRUE! CALIFORNIANS ARE RUINING EVERYWHERE THEY GO! AMERICA NEEDS TO BE THROUGH WITH CALIFORNIA IDEAS AND LIFESTYLE! STAY IN CALI IF YOU'RE LEAVING TO CHANGE THE NATION TO YOUR LIKING!
If you live in those demicrat counties Loom at the hate towards Caitlin In the wnba They teach it Indoctrinated americans against Whites against religion against normalcy Against the police These areas a re e mostly non citizens With plenty of poor blacks . It's the marxist foothold in America
Demacrat machine politics is the same in every large population center. Elections are rigged and have been for decades. Every large city is demacrat controlled.
My son and his family left California for North Carolina, his second place was Texas…I visited California many times, beautiful state but the politics and the huge gap between rich and poor, mixed with the woke agenda is pushing out companies and families! California’s future 👎
Problem with California is, all of big tech is there, and big tech pays insane million dollar or more salaries. They pay early engineers millions to work 8 hours a week, just so they don't leave and compete. So those people have insane money, and then regular people exist. Really, the issue is, people expect to live next to those extremely wealthy people. They basically live in am ivory tower because their income is different. Don't live near them... Then politics just makes everything expensive because California tries to save everyone.
Could we urge the Californian government to "Hit the road, Jack and don't you come back no more, no more"? Unrealized gains are also taxed by property taxes, which is against the law. Matter of fact, The IRS is a huge crime syndicate. The IRS counts on people folding when they see these bogus collection letters. The truth is that everyone is better off standing up and saying no rather than calling it what it is-illegal taxation that is outright unlawful.
If we are being honest with ourselves, taxes may be a major pain, just like they are for the wealthy. Taxes on income, goods and services, real estate, etc. It's wonderful to pay taxes, but we may also establish our own tax havens. Since stock market appreciation is not taxed, I personally invest most of my money there. When I sell, though, I discover ways to make the profit tax-deductible.
My wife and I have been doing this same thing. Can't get into trouble with the IRS when we have no income and all our money is in stocks. Personally, I don't like doing the work though. Lol. So we just invest through a licensed advisor who does the stock picking. Our money grows, and we are tax-free.
Hi clintscott3300 My husband and I have been thinking of going this route of using a licensed advisor. We're not just sure which broker or firm to work with. Could you recommend yours? And also, how do you prevent capital gain tax?
Do you know who Loren Lena Walker is? She frequently appears on CNBC. We keep our investments in tax-deferred accounts. We can evade capital gains taxes w/ this method. A preferred advisr could brief you on further possibilities.
@clintscott3300 I might have heard this name somewhere; think in reviews majorly, can't really recall. I'll be following her up. Thank you. Do you know if she manages family funds too?
Its turning to a crap hole. Crime and morons on the road, just yesterday a guy decided it would be great to do donuts and damage the newly paved and marked road near my where I live. Then again the democrats here say he is just a victim and deserves to damage what cost tax payers millions.
@@Ap_twsh Crime in California is lower than Texas and Florida, in both homicide rate and property crime rate. Do we need to fight to save Texas and Florida from collapse?
I can stil remember back in the late 80's that as a citizen you could have your choice of jobs, there were no signs on MTA buses that were in English and 'other' language, and Border Patrol were really doing a great job. That changed when folks like Nury and "One Bill" got into office...and currently one of CA's two US senators is the offspring of parents who thumbed their noses at proper US entry procedures...
Yeah it cost us 20 grand to move, probably more if you factor in other things…..we’re still recovering financially from the whole thing 2 years later including house renovations…..we’re almost back to where we were except we’re in TN not Commiefornia
Newsome has figured on taking those savings to bail him out and replace all that money he lost or used elsewhere !!! He will make sure you never get to leave !!! So you will continue paying him taxes !!
I was part of the recall Newsom movement here in San Diego, which succeeded, but once it went to the (rigged) system Gruesome Newsome was conveniently voted to stay. Homeless people are rampant in San Diego, LA looks like a warzone, taxes are not worth paying for and people are not making it. I am glad I am single, I can survive, but even I am looking at moving. Can't imagine how hard it would be to have a family here.
Good peace out! Life is good up here in North County. 23rd in GDP and 32rd in places to raise a family. Grew up here my whole life. East Village, National City, and El Cajon doesn't represent the entire county.
PeeLowSee and Jakoff Joe met the container ship that was carrying the Save NewScum pre printed mail in ballots....FOLDED THIS TIME.... They had to air it out because the ballots still smelled like a Chinese print shop. NO WAY he got 70% of the vote to stay in. That's as bad as saying that Jakoff Joe got 81 million votes. Even my liberal leftist neighbors wanted NewScum gone. I did everything that I could in my 70 years to prevent this state from getting flushed down the toilet. I failed.
i used to work in downtown Los Angeles at the time in the early 2000s you could see the cracks but at least the businesses were open and crowded with customers. Went back the other day and the place looked like a ghost town compared to what it was. The once crowded mall was practically empty save the homeless scattered about and many of the stores had shuttered. one thing I did like was that parking was easy this time.
You know what's really irritating? The attitude of some Californians that take the truth as a personal attack and defend this sinking ship while mocking their fellow citizens that are left with no choice but to leave. You are not helping! As if saying "you're just mad because you can't afford it" wasn't a completely elitist and brainless POV.
Its just an absolute shame what Democrat policy has done to this once great state. I am still living in Commifornia trying to fight for my state . It is pretty much impossible. It really makes me sad . This State is absolutely beautiful as far as nature goes so many amazing places.
There is nothing to fight for anymore. Most everyone around us was born in a different country. Everyone on our ballot was left and left of left. No red options. Our neighborhoods flooded with homeless and taxes sky high. We left 20 months ago. I miss some friends and family but really NOTHING else. Everyone says the weather is so amazing but I enjoy no wild fires and the green and beauty of KY. Four seasons has been so wholesome for our children. No more sweltering summers.
@@Imzadi I don't want to leave because of my location. We own 48 acres our closest neighbors are a half mile away. It is amazing. Now as far as weather it's like anywhere else with 4 seasons. We have views that most people dream of . The biggest issue is that it's in California
@@Imzadi California is not just big cities. I am fighting for it still and we do have options like New California. Which has over 25 counties that are constitutionally trying to make a new state and leave the coasts to the communists
Californian here! Ive voted Red without fail for over 20 years. I voted to recall Newsom both times. I have wanted to leave for a very long time. Convincing my husband is difficult because he has a good job. I think after covid he's finally ready. Looking at Missouri in two years, unless it happens earlier. Pray for those of us who have fought the good fight.
Also be careful where you move to. Some Counties in California are actually better than some red states, depending. Colorado was once red but is now bluer and stupider than some CA conservative counties.
We scaped Commifornia during the plandemic, to Missouri, and never looked back. Best decision. Beautiful country here, lot of good folks. Love all four seasons.
Former CA native. Kern county has traditionally voted red in presidential elections. Even in 2020, it was 49% to 48% for Trump. I have voted Republican my whole life. Now in AL, where I continue to vote red. What Newsome has done to CA is criminal. It was paradise. 😢
When I left California, In 2004, I sold off some of my worldly possessions..abandoned the rest ( gave away).took 2 vehicles, 5 kids and wife , 2 dogs.... Drove out, never looked back had about 3.000$ liquid cash on hand, went to Missouri, and in less then a year had 3 Xs more possessions, and earning 2Xs more then in California.... Now I reside in Colorado, 20 years later....so yes easy to leave if you have the courage!
I was born and raised in San Diego. Lived there for 36 years. 3 months ago my family and I left the state. Politics, trans sanctuary, cost of living, laws on our own children, housing are all ridiculous now! I love my home state. But we couldn’t take it anymore!! It’s a shame what they are doing to California 🤦🏼♂️
We might have to move to San Diego if my husband gets a job in Customs. So I’ve been looking at apartments and keep see Lgbtq sanctuaries apartments being mentioned. Like why do I need to know if an apartment accepts lgbtq? Nobody ever denied a homosexual housing
"I have a restaurant in LA, and the regulations are just completely crazy. When someone resigns from their job, you're obliged to pay them within 48 hours, regardless of whether it's during the weekend. If you don't have the check ready in time, you face penalties (even if banks are closed during the weekend). Even if you get approval from the ADA inspector of the city, it doesn't matter because if someone notices a mirror placed just 2 inches out of compliance, they can sue you and make you pay thousands of dollars (this literally happened to us). We're being sued by people who make a living out of it, with more than 300 lawsuits against restaurants for similar minor infractions. i can go over and over there are so many example that we can do. (Sorry for my English, it's not my first language)."....
I left California in 2020 . Loved the state prior yet saw it decline fast. I’ve lived in Palm Desert then LA, Hollywood , worked in the film industry and so forth. Yet once I had kids I realized how bad the state has become. Moved to Texas lived there for 3 years now in Florida . I won’t ever vote blue that’s for sure
@OA5ive. Good riddance, sayonara, adios, hasta la vista & don't come back. We love the Golden state & we're here to stay. Come back in 10 years, CA will still be the 5th largest vibrant economy on earth.Thank you very much 😊
Proud to be among the people leaving CA after 55 years. They finally wore me out with their Liberal policies in the form or over taxation and control. The state I am moving to will save me easily $20K a year. Good job Newsom !
I'm not leaving! When they do bad things in California eventually it spreads everywhere. We are the trend setters. We as Californians need to stand up against these policies. Its worth a fight! They're destroying what made Cali great.
unfortunately there aren't enough conservatives & independents to outnumber the looney lefties. California is a haven for those people. Such a damn shame what has happened to that beautiful state.
I spent most of my life in CA. I'm looking at leaving. I find the state has become unbearable to live in. As Pat mentioned, the taxes overall are ridiculous. Combine that with high cost of living, large homelessness problem, and the indoctrinating of kids in grade schools, it's just not worth it for me.
I am in insurance business in CA and we’ve been losing markets, which are crucial to our business. They all cite unbearable prohibitive idiotic regulations and insane claims exacerbated by out of control lawyers with the well oiled machine of corrupt doctors to turn every fender bender into $100K claim. Huge losses, crazy regulations and insurance companies are fleeing the state.
I just left California 2 months ago and came to Arizona. I love it out here way more. One thing I can say is leave that liberal/left mindset there in California. This state is still driven by God loving people.
Concur. Left CA last month after living there for 24 years. Every single point in this video is accurate. The homeless zombies have more rights than the citizen taxpayers. Tragic 🔥
I left California over a decade ago. I was able to buy 3 properties in Michigan, 2 - 10 acres with houses, 20 acres with mobile home. My monthly payments for all three was less than the rent I was paying in Cali for 2 BR house one one acre.
I just left California after living there for almost 36 years. The explosion in crime, homelessness, and soaring expenses hasn't made it worthwhile to stay there anymore. People have changed. They're more on edge, angry, anxiety-ridden, and rude. It's not worth staying there when I didn't feel safe, people were mean, and all the regulations are stacked AGAINST the small business owner. I just couldn't justify the expensive lifestyle for what I got...an empty life with hateful people in a place where I didn't feel safe anymore. NOT WORTH IT ANYMORE!
You talk about hole State that's means you are not serious .... talk only about you city okay....??!!! In California a lot Safe , Best place to Living.... bye bye 😄😄
Left California this year- Tired of my vote note counting and the high cost of everything all while crime and lawlessness everywhere. My daughter wasn’t safe at school and was getting an indoctrination.
LOL...like your votes going to count somewhere else in the US. We got a fake democracy! whats worse...a woke or bible indoctrination! equa! crime is committed against you now by banks, local, and federal govt. they just wear a tie!
yeah! now u r in a place that rains everyday 😅😅😅 or it a too hot to go outside with the snakes and alligators 😅😅 i am extreme right wing and live in california! best place on earth!
I have not moved in over f I fty years. I planted trees over 40 years ago and watched them grow. This is HOME!!!! I'M STAYING PUT! Good weather, Good neighbors, clean streets, good things happen in my town.
I left CA in 2016. It was already getting bad. I told people I managed to escape. Sacramento pursued me for 2 years, claiming in nasty, threatening letters stating that I still owed them taxes on revenue. When they finally admitted they were in the wrong, I framed the letter. The writing was on the wall in 2015/16. Now, it sounds and looks unbelievably bad, far worse. I can hardly believe the pace of decline. The CA weather and the landscape remain exquisite, desirable, but not at this cost. The sum of criminals that wrecked CA should be thrown into the arena with hungry lions on public television.
I'll never forget the time I visited Sacramento and I saw homeless injecting drugs on the streets, and a couple having sex in public like animals. At least they were clothed. Sad!
They're starting to do the same thing in other states too, wielding the power of the government against the little guy. Power needs to be moved back to the local communities.
Democrats are the problem....Took me many years to learn this, but it's true. In virtually every setting where a liberal Democrat is in a Mgt. position, things quickly go south. As the old saying goes, Democrat voters are under informed, and easily led.
In this perilous time of recession, protecting your capital is much more important than making money. Basically because if you lose your capital, making money is much harder. ''Missing the train'' vs. ''losing your money''. There are a lot of trains, but if your money is gone, it's over. This is for stock holders.
Despite the fact that I have a fairly focused portfolio, occasionally adding a tiny new position can be beneficial. It isn't done to diversify. Focusing on something new is a useful diversion from obsessively overanalyzing what you currently have. It gives you and your portfolio some breathing room
Absolutely! I have 355k in a well diversified portfolio in stock and digital assets which has grown not less than 950k in the past 3 months with compounding, venturing doesn’t necessarily boil down to funds but you also have to be informed, be patient and back it up with good guidance.

Living in the Napa valley, I LOVE anything that humiliates smug arrogant Gavin Newsom. Just returned from Eagle Idaho where my former neighbors live & what a great community! They told me their property taxes went from $22,000 a year to $6000 a year. I went to the Costco there and purchased California wines that were cheaper there than here!
I'm retiring to Eagle next year. I can't wait. My electricity bill was $330 last month & my natural gas bill was $650 in July. But too many Californian's are moving to Idaho too. Eagle is now what California was 30 years ago. The locals can't buy a house. It's becoming a rich enclave unto itself. No wonder they hate us. It's turning into the Sausalito or Palo Alto of Idaho $$$ wise, it will never come close to the beauty of those area's.
@@superslyko123 I know what you mean, yes. There are out lying areas like Meridian, Nampa that are developing quite nicely but cannot beat the beauty of Cali. This month I’m off to Tennessee where another friend moved. It’s gorgeous but has winters that are fairly mild. Every state has its challenges but Cali is beyond corrupt.

I lived in Southern CA from the time i was 5 to 40 years old, more specifically, San Diego county on the edge of Riverside county. I have 3 kids and I am a stay at home mom and I wanted to raise my kids where i grew up because it was such a great childhood. 20 minutes away from beaches and an hour away from big bear mountain where we would go snowboarding in the winter! I never intended on leaving CA, but, 3 months ago we had no choice, we packed up and moved our family of 5 to Texas. We were living in a 3 bed townhouse with no backyard, just a porch and a balcony and we were paying $4,000 a month just in rent alone. Our electricity bill was anywhere between $250-$400 a month depending on the season. You add that with water bill, gas, food, sports for all 3 kids. Just in basic necessities, we were shoveling out more than $5,000 a month just to have a roof over our heads, food in our stomachs and car to drive. Add to that all the crappy new legislation that the snake-oil salesman that calls himself govenor newsom was implementing, we knew we couldnt do it anymore and had to get out of there before it got any worse. We didnt want to leave, but, we felt we had no other choice because unfortunately, even though our little town we lived in was reasonable and voting red, it didnt matter because San Francisco and LA counties were voting blue, so the whole state had to suffer the rules and regulations based on what those 2 counties voted for. Its just so sad and unfortunately, I dont think its gonna change anytime soon. The people in those 2 counties are just so partisan, I dont think they would ever vote for a Republican, even if thats whats needed to turn things around. I mean, we just had a recall election and we had the chance to kick newsom out and elect the great Larry Elder, but no, they kept him in and then voted him back in a year later when he was running for re-election 🤷♀️🤦♀️ the whole state of CA now has to suffer another tyranical term with sleezy newsome at the helm.
I live in L.A: California has the most conservatives/republicans but it doesn’t help when you get extra mail in ballots from your apartment building from people who haven’t lived here for years; OR not asking for ID when voting IN PERSON. …This November is going to be wild.
I remember when CA was a very conservative state. Then the economic growth brought in hoards of people. Just watch what happens to FL and TX as they get huge population growth!!
I am watching it...all the citrus groves are being pushed up and cookie cutter tract homes going in on that property. This will bring on sinkholes and infrastructure problems like water, roads, services, etc. Rents have gone crazy as have home prices. If you are leaving FL, please take a friend...
Many dumb CA residents boast about the last embers of having the highest GDP. Mean while they forget about the thousands of business closing and lawlessness recently. I don't care how good the weather is if shit gets bad, no one will stay for the weather.
I had a lifetime democrat relative living in Asia for the past 10 years. Didn't buy any of this until they finally came back to DC with her husband and children, stayed for one month and packed up. Cities dominate because that's where the VAST majority of the people live. The urban and suburban areas also generate most of the revenue that support the state. Rural areas benefit economically from the metro areas. How can you not know this?
@@kyang162 There is no help for you. You can't be helped. Let me repeat, rural communities across the USA are losing population. Urban and suburban areas are growing with a few exceptions. The only rural communities that grow are those on the edge of the ever growing urban sprawl, Urban and suburban areas generate the vast majority of tax revenue. @@HamiltonRb Wrong, they are selling to someone who is already in the state. There is a housing shortage so people can't buy a house until someone moves out of state.
@@HamiltonRb - No. People who buy a house in California are moving out of the most dreadful cities of the state into cities which are only slightly less dreadful. Extremely FEW people are actually moving INTO California. The only people moving in are people getting a job transfer by their employer. Great analysis Pat, I was born and raised in LA county, lived there for 30 years, left 6 years ago and never looked back. Also for those concerned about democrats relocating from CA elsewhere, with the exception of the large cities most native Californias are conservative. We’re just overwhelmed by the democratic slave machine.
lawlessness and crime. Reminds me of an idiot just yesterday doing donuts on the brand new strip of road by my home. What a waste of our taxes, and people will still say that dumbass was just a victim.
I left California in 2018, and it was the best decision I ever made. Even if someone offered me $10 million to move back, I still wouldn’t do it. It can be a cool place to visit but living there doesn’t feel like America. There’s no freedom unless you’re homeless. If you’re homeless, then California suddenly values freedom to be able to do literally whatever you want. If you have a roof over your head, you can’t even cross the street without the government telling you to.
@@FirstBorn__keep laughing in Africa then. Shit ain’t funny. The place is a polished turd at best. Everything this person said is true, I’m starting to realize the more developed an area/neighborhood becomes the more controlling and restrictive it is as well. Not worth the price.
@@FirstBorn__ it’s true though! I got a ticket for not waiting for the “walk” sign before crossing the street when absolutely no cars were coming. As the officer was writing my ticket, there was someone injecting heroin on the sidewalk right next to us and they didn’t get a ticket or in trouble or anything.
I've been visiting Sacramento CA and there are homeless people everyyyywhere here. I'm not talking about the tent cities either, they are even in affluent neighborhoods. There are tents on the side of every building, every corner store, every restaurant, the side of every street, etc. They've removed park amenities from our neighborhoods and a lot of them are aggressive. I've been approached, yelled at and hit up for money every time I've stepped foot outside of my car. This is not normal!!! Do they not realize that?! These Democrats are literally Communists who have turned every city and state they touch into a 3rd world hell hole.
My fear is not just that they're leaving because they despise what's happening there, but that many are leaving to intentionally infect other parts of the nation with woke ideology.
That is true Fersure, but I find that the “conservatives” In other states are way to center left than the consecrate Californians you guys need to sack up and stop voting rhinos
Ding. Ding. Ding. That’s my fear too. They will runaway from bad policies to areas with better policies but vote for the same party they ran from. I started watching House Hunters on HGTV (from over 10 year hiatus) and yells at the tv when people are moving from California to Tennessee, Texas and from New York to Alabama, North Carolina. Pisses me off!!!
That is a reality. San Antonio is thick with them. The problem is the liberal companies fleeing California bring their liberal employees with them. They set up shop in suburban enclaves, take over the local politics, and their woke liberal policies fester and spread like a cancer.
The decline of California really started when Arnold was elected. He caved to left on a lot of issues convincing Californians to elect Dems. Brown was actually worse than Newsom, Newsom just happens to be trying to out socialist Brown. It’s really sad.
Not like he had much choice in the matter. He could either be a lame duck or play to the Democrat state legislature's tune, but he sure as shit wasn't going to pass any conservative policy while in office, the weeds had rooted by that point.
Arnold is the poster child for RINO'S. He's a big government, corporatist DEMOCRAT. The fool has NO CONCEPT of what individual rights are. He simply won a popularity contest.

I love your analysis. You are 100% correct. Newsom and the Democrats have turned CA into a mess. I’m 56 and live in Ventura County, CA. My sister just moved to a Idaho last year. My husband’s mom is 90 and we help take care of her. We will be moving out of CA once that situation changes.
I lived in California for 16 years. From my experience I can say people come in and out of that state. People come in to retire, they found a new job, or they are in the military. People leave because of the taxes, cost of living, and sick of the school systems.
I'm Military and seriously Contemplating trying to get stationed in CA to be close to family again. I've been gone 12 years and I absolutely dread the thought of moving back but having Military benefits while being close to family is the only reason it sounds like a good idea. outside that I will NEVER live in CA as a civilian. You'll never realize how bad the politics and rules are until you leave the state.
I’m so sad. I grew up in California. We had to take our three young children and leave for greener pastures. Unfortunately, many of our family are left back in California. It’s very hard to leave. We miss our family greatly especially since we’re raising our kids on our own, but we just couldn’t raise them there.
Just curious, may I ask where did you move to? We are in the exact same situation as you, moved to Montana with 3 kids. Left all extended family in CA.
I wish that he broke down what’s going on with crime, here in California. I work in law enforcement, and it’s unreal how bold the criminal element has gone. Look up Props 47, 57, AB109, zero bail, SB94 and many others. As soon as im eligible for retirement, I’m leaving.
P.S. read it closely, the legislators intentionally left loopholes for the gangs to get out of state ammo (if an out-of-state relative brings it in and gives it to the hem).
My parents had wanted to move out of Cali before 2008 happened but I just started at a highschool and I asked them if I could finish high school there before we moved. Now that I've moved to Los Angeles and have lived here for a few years. I want to click my heels three times and say, "There's no place like home."
At least California's politicians have set such a terrible example of leadership and policy strategy that it gives our nation a perfect example of what not to follow that will lead to total failure.
Politicians didn't do any of this, other than what they were voted to do. Conservative states better make a new law: Cali residents unable to vote on state policies and candidates for at least 3 years after migrating from a communist state
Oh but it is not total failure for the radical left promoting it. These elitist , in love with more wealth and power, will expand their efforts to all states. The near destruction of California is not their goal in itself. Just one step toward buying up California at bargain prices. Once they have purchased California, and used federal grants to finance the renovation of it to desirable condition they will have accomplished their goal. Then they will try to extend into other states. Probably red states, but only 1 at a time. These particular people with enormous wealth working together can afford to buy entire cities, once their political allies have driven down property values. They can do the same with many thousands of acres of farmland. With water supply insufficient in many parts of America, many states now have water usage control agencies who decide who receives what percentage of available water. Often a fight between states, as with the Colorado River. Or a conflict of interests between cities and farms. So political influence on the Water Control Agencies can severely impact cities water shortages or farms turning into dust bowls. Those who control these agencies to suit their own interests thus markedly control the value of land dependent on agency decision allotting them water. That is exactly why some people have expressed concern about Bill Gates purchase of huge acres of farmland. We do not know his intentions at this time.
They will then move to another state and try to change the laws and principles like the state they left, then complain that things are aweful, it’s utter insanity.
Politicians didn't do any of this, other than what they were voted to do. Conservative states better make a new law: Cali residents unable to vote on state policies and candidates for at least 3 years after migrating from a communist state
Texas and others should protect its border against this marxist invasion which it is. Those people have not learned. Business owners in particular. Most business owners vote marxist. @AKARazorback this is true overall sadly but not all of us! I used to be a democrat… as far as supporting Bernie Sanders in 2016 after being indoctrinated in college. @@mandym8167this was true for me but sadly all of my friends from California have left too and most of them still vote democrat. They might not be as extremely liberal as they once were, but they still can’t put together the reasons they had to leave were due to democrat policies. it is common to hear there the reason everything sucks is because of Reagan. Californians can twist logic and blame a Republican governor from 50 years ago instead of the more obvious answer that “gee maybe this is from the policies I have been voting for”. I think California has gotten so bad and the human suffering is so in your face every single day, it can be hard for empathetic but misguided people to entertain the fact they might have helped contribute to the suffering. It’s easier to separate yourself and blame someone else even though it’s wrong.
Born and raised in Orange*County and lived in California for 40 years. I finally left a month ago and now live in Indiana and my only regret is that I didn't do it 15 years ago. Take it from me even living in the best places in California such as parts of San Diego and South Orange*County is still not going to fix the problem. You have to be filthy rich to have any kind of decent life in those areas. For example I was in South Orange*County in a 2-bedroom 1000sf shack and my total bills a month for rent and utilities were $4,600. Just managed to get out of CA after living there for over 30 years. Sad what has happened to what was once the best state. It has turned into a dumpster fire. It definitely doesn't hurt that my yard is now bigger than the entire lot of the house I sold there. Coincidentally a large percentage of the people in my neighborhood also left California. As a European, what is happening right now all across the U.S. is scary. Drugs epidemic, mounting civil unrest, fracturing of society, crazy big business behaviour, your major cultural hubs slowly morphing into a civil wasteland... it all looks like you are now at the same level of stress that your society usually experience right before election week. If you are at this state now, the first days of November 2024 will be the as tense as the War Room in Dr. Strangelove.
It looks a lot worse online than most any day-to-day life in the US would reflect. You have to keep in mind that the US (and in many ways, the western world overall) has some powerful geopolitical rivals who work to sow discord and disputes culturally/socially, and much of that effort is perpetrated in the cyber realm. While this is not to say that the US does not have some very real problems, if you went by what is presented online, the US would look anywhere from a failed state to utter hellscape.
I agree. My ancestry is Ukraine Cossack...the Democrats not only destroyed Ukraine but the USA. Still they refuse to get their guns & rid the rats working in DC.

You are being swayed by too much social media. The United States is not much different than when I was born in the late '60's. Crime in the big cities, poverty in the rural areas...all the same. @meettherandom4711 Unfortunately, in my experience, common sense is not something I equate with Californians I've met. They turned Colorado into a liberal cesspool!
What you have to realize is the people leaving CA are tired of the liberal policies being put in place. That's what they are trying to escape from. There aren't any hard core liberals fleeing california- the conservatives are.
The largest concern is that they are fleeing their failed policies in CA and voting for the exact same policies in the new locations they fled to.

Damn shame.

Newsom? Garcetti? Bass?

Too bad no one from Commiefornia cares, they'll just move to another state to do it all over again.
Believe me plenty of people want to leave California, but because everything is so expensive it's hard for them to save up enough to make the move.

The attitude of some
Californians that take the truth as a personal attack and defend this sinking ship while mocking their fellow citizens that are left with no choice but to leave. You are not helping! As if saying "you're just mad because you can't afford it" wasn't a completely elitist and brainless POV.
That's because the republican policies in California were historically worse in every single way, including the economy.

We scaped Commifornia during the plandemic, to Missouri, and never looked back. Best decision. Beautiful country here, lot of good folks. Love all four seasons.

And as far as being in heaven this is it the topography here is amazing we have the highest peak we have the deserts that are beautiful we have some of the most beautiful coastlines and Northern California the redwood Forest it's beautiful here this is really the best state in the country but a big butt the politics suck here but I'm staying here to fight hopefully we can change it. You can literally drive in two to three hours being the desert be by the ocean or be in the forest in one day it's amazing
I’ve been to many states. CA is still the most beautiful state with the best weather.
@@em4227It is for the reasons you named that California will always be a destination to live and visit. I laugh at the ones who blindly suggest that people are selling their homes and moving out of State, because they are obviously selling it to someone who is moving into the State.
And take note that many California companies now have many satellite buildings in other states, such as Adobe. In many cases, only the headquarters of a company remain behind in California.
I just hope all of the Californians moving here to Tennessee DO NOT bring their voting blue records with them… Please remember why you’re running here….. 🤙🏻
Half of them don't know why they are running. They think that California's expenses and liberal voting have as much in common as airplanes and trains. Make sure you vet them and make them super unwelcomed if they preach liberal shit.

I've lived in Ohio, Michigan, Nevada and California. The land is beautiful everywhere but the people in general are selfish money worshippers. In my life I have already seen the death of fun, effort and capitalism. Some exceptions but overall a petty narcissistic society.

Yup. Close up. Walk out. There goes Newsome's sales tax. Looks like they are doing the slow version of Lahaina Hawaii. Clear the land of citizens and put up hotels on the shore. Invite China to build them with tofu dreg to keep the costs down. Wait for the San Andreas. Unless he's running for president of course. God help us.

Great analysis Pat, I was born and raised in LA county, lived there for 30 years, left 6 years ago and never looked back.
Lol cant cross the street without anyone telling you😂😂😂😂. Im South African and find this very funny.
@@FirstBorn__keep laughing in Africa then. Shit ain’t funny. The place is a polished turd at best. Everything this person said is true, I’m starting to realize the more developed an area/neighborhood becomes the more controlling and restrictive it is as well. Not worth the price.

Wow, that was a fantastic video. Thank you for explaining how I’ve been feeling for years living in California. I am so tired of this state.
True, we need to put a lot of psychos in mental asylums fast before they destroy this country.
It's time to go back home to africa.
The decline of California really started when Arnold was elected. He caved to left on a lot of issues convincing Californians to elect Dems. Brown was actually worse than Newsom, Newsom just happens to be trying to out socialist Brown. It’s really sad.

At least California's politicians have set such a terrible example of leadership and policy strategy that it gives our nation a perfect example of what not to follow that will lead to total failure.
Except they all will in time with our current immigration policies
Actually, California has taught the rest of the states how far they can go to the left without the people finally fighting back.
Politicians can always take things to a new low.
They are experts in doing this.
These particular people with enormous
wealth working together can afford to buy entire cities, once their political allies have driven down property values.
Conservative states better make a new law: Cali residents unable to vote on state policies and candidates for at least 3 years after migrating from a communist state
It’s the conservatives who are leaving. You’re wrong about this.
Texas and others should protect its border against this marxist invasion which it is. Those people have not learned. Business owners in particular. Most business owners vote marxist. And the few owners that has a bit of sense in them is bringing in their wife, children and perhaps even more, and those are guaranteed to be full blown marxist activists who is ashamed of being privileged and are desperate to not identify themselves with dirty capitalism. Marxist is like aliens in independence day, just jumping around and destroy place before jumping to another place.
@AKARazorback this is true overall sadly but not all of us! I used to be a democrat… as far as supporting Bernie Sanders in 2016 after being indoctrinated in college. I moved to California after graduating college, saw the policies I was voting for in action, moved out and have only voted Republican ever since.
