- I just bought a 2015 Maserati GranTurismo. And here's my thoughts and review of the car. Maserati Granturismo's reliability, acceleration, sound, interior, exterior, engine, etc.

The best and most practical upgrade for this car is to replace the head unit with an Acar/Aucar Android head unit, with wireless CarPlay.
Not a super car. Still a very nice car though.

The F1 gearbox is also the MC-Shift, and also called Cambiocorsa. It's the same gearbox used in the Ferrari 599.
Not a Super Car. Not even a Sports car. The name gives it away: its a helluva grand tourer! And yes, it has the best sounding exhaust ever! I currently also own a McLaren 570 and a Bentley Continental GT, which is a better GT, faster and more reliable than my Maserati. BUT...I drive my GranTurismo for the noise and linear thrust. I added a Pedal Commander for crisper throttle response and it has added a bit of snappiness and drama to my other wise stock queen. Maintenance and repairs are a bit pricey on the Maserati. My 2012 4.7 has cost me about 6K in repairs (leaking heads and A/C repair) and maintenance/oil changes over rhe last 3+ years. But at 75K miles, she is driven a lot, driven hard and driven often, despite my owning actual super cars. Good review, BTW.
It's a gorgeous car, but if you ever need work done on it, good luck getting someone to do it. And if they do work on it, they're going to have a lot of fun with you.
Petrol cap / gas cap has a manual pull cord back up in boot behind a small flap. Likewise boot has a manual release under the LH side ( facing forward) of rear seats.
Also the glovbox if I remember correctly.
I just want a Quattroporte with the same engine honestly.

I know that 2008's - 2012's have a cam variator issue that needs to be addressed, but if you know that's not a problem, could be worth it! Also see if it has a leaky valve cover gasket. I'd just do a PPI and if it's good condition good priced, then SEND IT

Mine cost $6000 with lots of issues. Almost all done now and as I did it all myself, now it has cost $13k including buying. Not cheap, but hey it is worth $16-18k. Obviously I am far from rich… I only have good set of clothes and mostly cut my own hair…
this is reality man. I know this might sound mindblowing, but 'cheap' is a subjective term that varies person to person. I think a lot of you are searching for someone financially relatable to watch and you won't find that in every youtuber.
you cant even buy a new truck for 40k with today's inflation 40k for a sports car isn't actually crazy when you have people buying 60k truck and SUVs.

Yeah it's kinda crazy how slow M2s are. C7 stingrays is not quick at all and it fucking destroys the M2 at everything.
The Granturismo is about the engine sound and looks, no one breaks there neck for a m2
