- I buzzed all my hair off, then I grew it out. I started taking pictures every week about a month into the growth. I wasn't always super accurate, but oh well.

one of the most liberating things i’ve ever done was to shave my hair off at age 65. i loved it! been a little over a year for me, two trims & several days a week i’m tempted to go short again😀

I’ve literally just buzzed my hair off about 6-7 weeks ago on the 22nd of June. I’m wanting to start growing it back and honestly feel so excited to experiment with it as it grows, you look gorgeous in every stage and I was worried I’d look stupid and awkward but you’ve given me so much more hope 😁😁😁

I buzzed my hair a few years ago. I loved it, it was so empowering. You don’t have to be going through an emotional break down in order to do it. Many people misinterpret it as that. Sometimes you are just screaming for a change. And feel inspired to do it.

Its been 8 months since i last shaved my hair and let it regrow; i haven't cut it at all (only the bangs), i am waiting to reach 1 year of growth before trimming it. Im quite happy with the lenght, still got a mullet so i always tie my hair in a bun. I started to use henna again to help me waiting, i loooove red/auburn hair. And i always watch your video each time i feel i get impatient and tired of waiting !

I ended up shaving my whole head in July of 2019. Right now in February my hair is about 3 inches and 1 inch on the sides and in the back. (I ended up shaving the sides and back in December) I’m hoping it’ll be 6 inches by this July! Maybe not....
Growing out my hair after failing yet another hair growth journey...I cannot feel this way again. My confidence is dropped to 0. Thank you fot this video, makes me hopefull for my own progress.
kitter titters I’m so sorry you’re in that rut :/ my confidence was also at 0 when I shaved my head. I hid inside for about a week and hated what I looked like for months. But stay strong! I promise it gets better! And it does help to do your best to embrace the process. It makes it go by a lot quicker and smoother.
I don't regret getting a buzz cut, cause I would always have wondered what it would be like to start again but I'm feeling very insecure and ugly right now. It's only been a week but I've ordered a wig so I have that to look forward to (and to hopefully get me through the coming months 😅)

@@alanoud2439 that is false, trims do not increase length at all. The only thing you can do to increase your hair length is to let your hair be. No dyes/bleach, no heat, no styling, no trims, etc. Hair grows as fast as it's gonna grow, there's nothing that'll actually make it grow faster

I had long hair for almost ten years and in 2019 I got it cut a few inches above my shoulders. Donated it! I don't regret it in the slightest. (I did research it for like 4 of those ten years tho because I didnt have the resolve to cut it so I just read articles and longed for shorter hair lol)
it really gets on my nerves allll the time and sometimes i just want to cut it all off but i think that i would miss it

I shaved all of my hair off in January of 2019 and it’s to my collarbone
sarah davis, her hair must be slow growing. If I had let it continue... it would be past my shoulders. My hair grows fast.
My Husband has fast growing hair, he will shave, only to have stubble an hour or so later, he cuts his hair, and within a week or so, it's fairly long again. I'm jealous, but he hates it!
My hair has always been slow to grow. But it's really thick, despite it falling out a lot. I want really long hair, but it's not much longer than it was when we got together (when we were 17, we're now 27, turning 28 this year).
It has literally only grown a few inches. It was shoulder length, and now it's a couple of inches above my breasts- so not much for that amount of time.
Although, I have obviously trimmed/slightly cut/changed styles in that time. But I never cut off much, so it confuses me.
It's annoying because when we were in school, I cut my hair really short and spiked it up a lot, from the age of about 14-17 it grew a lot. Since then; hardly anything.
