I'm just learning about this, so if I'm correct when your running these dynos, in between the runs your adjusting the tuning? If so, makes sense. I see a lot of people lose some weight and get a tune but they don't actually dial it in like this. They just kind of plug and play with the knob 1-4 etc.
How on earth is that stock 68RFE even holding up at this power level? Does he at least have a built valve body in it? I'm curious because my '19 has a Revmax billet valve body and 225psi line pressure and nothing else and I'm scared to run 500hp through it! For the sake of guessing, I'd say 765hp 1375trq on that Mustang dynamometer which are known to be frugal with #s...
That’s baffling me too. I suppose this guy is not worried about the trans failing and will probably replace it as soon as it does. I’m in the same boat as you though. Looking to regear and do the valve body before I add any more power. Currently on 175 psi TCM tune on the stock VB.
Idk. I have 1086hp and when I had my stock trans on here it burnt up within 2 days of driving before I put a built one, and at 821 in tune 1 same thing, so I wouldn’t risk that 68 lol
@@POINTBLANKPERFORMANCE my truck? No I have dual CP3’s, and a ton of other stuff done but I have a fully custom build 68. But if that truck is g2g with a stock 68 that’s not bad but would hate to be stranded after doing a light pull in that thing lol
@@POINTBLANKPERFORMANCE yes but there is no manifold intake at their website for 2020, I get hold of them and they say that they won't have any for 5th gen until new year , one that is available on website is for 2018 which will technically.work if you make fuel line dent little deeper, that's why I'm asking where did you get it , did you make any modifications like this dent to be little more deeper for fuel line clearance ?
I have a 2017 Ram 2500 megacab That I bought just a year ago And currently has 46,000 miles on it and have done mild upgrades so far I have done a banks cold air intake, Banks monster Ram air intake, Banks PedalMonster, and ATS trans thermo bypass, do want to do other upgrades down the road, What tuner would you recommend When I’m ready to do other upgrades?
@@POINTBLANKPERFORMANCE hi Tyson ..this is Dave hochstedler ..I don't know if you remember me but I'm the one in Granger ind. I really like that blue. Looks excellent!
Thank you sir !
Could I put a 4th gen compressor housing on a 5th gen turbo? So I can run a 60 mm billet wheel?? Or just have 5th gen milled out??
That’s a great questions sir we’ve never tried this !

My 68rfe went and said good bye at 515whp, cldnt even tune the truck after doing the injectors.
@@kyleparks6289 did you end up rebuilding the trans?
780HP, it has the potential. Just the 64rfe trans is the weak point in the setup
803hp, 1336 tq depending on how the trans holds
Does that setup have a waste gate?
going to need a trans to get it to the ground eh
Can’t wait to bring my truck over

When will we see more on the 2022 in the last video??
Working on that ! Shooting for 2 / 3 weeks before it makes it on the channel !
How the internals hold up on 5th gen? Stock internals or upgrading rods, etc
