I just got one I paired with a Fujifilm X-T4 (40MP). Beautiful lens. Versatile focal range. I have done some test shots. Great color. Great Focus, Even sweet bokeh. I have done landscapes, nature closeups, people and portraits. I'm very happy with the lens. Paired with a mirrorless camera it makes them easy to carry for distance. Of course, that focal range makes it a lens that can meet almost all of your needs.

Really appreciate you making this video. I just sent off four lenses to sell to buy this one - the two Fuji kit, the 18-135, and a mirrorless 300 mm. This lens has the same aperture, plus the weather resistance of the 18-135, plus the stabilization of the 18-135, but covers the entire distance. I bought the 18-135 to be my travel lens and tried to supplement with the Fuji XC 50-230, but this one lens will be so much better. AND my next trip will be to Iceland, so you can see why I greatly appreciate your essentially affirming my choice. Thank you.

Hi David. Really enjoyed your video with comments and excellent pictures taken with this lens. I just came back from Colorado where I used the 6600 with the Sony 70-200 f4 and the A7iii with a Sony 24-105 f4. Captured some great landscape pics and some wildlife as well. Unfortunately, at 79 and back problems weight is crucial. I'm heading back to Colorado next month for Thanksgiving and Christmas and I have located a Tamron18-300 that I think it will help with the weight by taking it with the 6600 and leaving the rest of the gear back home. Also important is that it will give me that extra reach for wildlife of 150mm vs the Sony 70-200 on the 6600 body. I was on the fence but after putting it in writing, I think that my mind is made. Thanks for sharing!

Great photos. Loved the ones with ice on the beach. I have more zooms than primes ranging from 10-18 to 200-600. That a6600 acted like a magnifier with its 1.5 crop making the 200-600 into a 300-900mm zoom.
BTW, how is the minimum focusing with this Tamron. My Sigma 18-50 crop sensor lens for Sony blows me away with its close focusing capability.
