@some1knowsomebody Jirachi will not block damage counters dropped by Dusclops or Dusknoir because it only blocks damage counters from effects of attacks by basic Pokemon while Dusclops and Dusknoir are evolution Pokemon that drop damage counters from abilities. It’s messy I know.
It's insane how powerful and consistent even the unedited starter deck version of Charizard EX is. Definetly a great deck for beginners looking for some relatively easy wins, lol.
I've started playing about a week ago and mained it pretty quickly. Customized it and it's very fun the charizard is hella op 330hp, 180+dmg with no catch and insta energy
Against untied wings, going for duskull at the end would be a mistake. Ignoring the prime catcher play you mentioned, you can't use dusknoir because after they KO your Zard, they have 1 prize remaining, so using dusknoir would win them the game. Something to watch out for in future games when it gets close like that.
Wish I could have experienced that end of the Wugtrio matchup live because I. WAS. SWEATIIIING!! Haha that was awesome! GG's! Been studying your videos and playing TCGL, currently on a 11-2 run with a 6 W streak using Dogi-ex, munki, and pech-ex trio, and adding more to it as I go on!
Gotta prioritize setting up the Pidgeot ex first when you play Charizard. That wugtrio game wouldn't have been close at all if you had done so. There are very, very few matchups where you ever want to set up the Charizard before Pidgeot.
When there is a decision like this, it just means that we don't have enough for zard. If we go for Pidgeot then that is the only big target on board for sure opponent will go for it. With zard, maybe we can attack first to suppress. that's my intuition -
I agree, but I also think Rotom matters the most in beginning of game. I get rom v, then pidgeot and then charizard, rare candy into pidgeot ex and the use quick search to rare candy into charizard
Need advice. New to PTCG. Should I buy this decklist? How long can this deck last? I heard something about rotation but never understand that. I know that cards can't be play after rotation. So I'm looking for something that last for some time for now
I'm new too so I don't know if this deck will survive next rotation, but that's a year from now. Also if you start a new account on PTCGO this deck is free until March
Prime catcher is powerfully, but in the end unfair stamp is much more better in my opinion! It gives you more hand destruction in late game, which can ultimately come in clutch against raging bolt or mirror matches 😁
I would think in game 1 your opponent would want to counter hit into your Zard and use pigeot to iono you down to one card. This would mean you needed to top deck either Zard ex or candy in order to return KO. Personally I would have benched the fez so that you were not dead drawing on next turn.
first time player got 5 losses in a row. this video helped on how to play the deck, went on a 10 win streak with normal ex chair deck. vs alot of people with the deck you are running no idea how i won all those matches with worse deck, did lot of thinking to out play them
@@Sp0on777 out of about 120 games in the last 2 weeks I haven’t once wanted to use Kieran for anything but a switch. I dropped it for a regular switch for search-ability. I found with the increase of turn-two damage done with Duskull line Kieran’s second use of +30 isn’t as vital as it used to be. But that’s just my experience. It could be the exact opposite for Joe, similar for John, and the same for Jim lol
@catchdawg7991 that's fair, but then a switch card doesn't leave room for a pal pad. What else could we swap for a pal pad? Maybe one iono since it allows for re-use
Cursed Blast Dusknoir takes out Mimikyu. You could Cursed Blast Dusknoir twice for Ogerpon but that’s clunky. If you really want to you can run Cancelling Cologne to deal with Ogerpon if you’re concerned enough about that matchup.
Generally second. Gives you an opportunity to play a supporter first, set up a wider board state, and if they take a KO on the following turn it makes your first attack even stronger. Certain matchups however can get really dicey if you let your opponent go first. I’ve found that letting Regidrago go first can lead to a devastating multi-prize attack on turn 2. Maybe in matchups like that consider going first.

@@InThirdPerson got it thank you, question should I consider doing just 2 basic pokemon instead of 3 to be more competitive? I feel like duskull is a double edge sword
@@jaceb3106 it doesn't help from Munkidori as well because Jirachi blocks damage counter placed by attacks, and Munkidori places damage counters by an ability.
You probably realized this later, but the Flare Veil Charmeleon only prevents effects of "attacks," so the Dusclops / Dusknoir _Ability_ can hit it. 🙂
Mentioning b/c someone pointed this out to me with regards to Toadscruel ex. Haha. 🤦♂️
I guess jirachi is gonna make a comeback

On the physical TCG, I dunno, but on TCG live they give you a starter version of this deck for free, so you can try it and see if you like it.

YES! lol, thanks for making this video 🙂👍
Are you going to test the Kingdra EX deck?
If I can find a build I like, yes! First new deck I want to figure out in the meantime is the Loyal Three.

I think a late game unfair stamp is too strong. With the amount of stall, perhaps a pal pad instead of Kieran to retrieve boss/turo would be great
I was thinking replace a boss with a pal pad, since there's 5 gusts in the deck and you can use pal pad to re-use one

is anyone having the issue of not being able to add charmander obf to the decklist or is it not standard friendly?

Can you do an updated dragapult dusknoir pidegot deck

When you took the dusknoir from the prizes you could’ve blasted the wugtrio why didn’t you do that?

Why can’t I get the fezandipiti ex card
