the Tatsugiri is great if you open it in first turn (considering that you go first) because you can see 12 until 15 cards to get Arven combining with the 3 rotom cards, it's great to get a consistent open and start hitting in turn 2 until get 3 or 4 prizes very quickly
I have been a pult supporter since release and I just switched to pult ex instead of dragazard to train and its so good, I play it with dusknoir and pidgeot ex and will maybe be bringing it to gdansk
I was about to spend all my credits to craft the missing cards on this deck, but have changed my mind after defeating two opponent Dragapult ex decks with my Zard & Duskull deck 😅 I was so hyped after seeing you getting so many quick and ez victories last sunday. I think I was gonna spend my credits on Greninja ex deck. Honestly, after playing too many times with Zard, Dragapult gameplay did not temp me that much (except its victories 😜) as its gameplay has many familarities with Zard
im very new and want to build a deck. will dragapult still be good/get upgrades with the release of surging sparks? (i saw kyurem and thought it might destroy deagapult and regidrago).
Dragapult should still be a top-tier deck in the upcoming format. Japan has had the cards for a bit now and still classifies Drapault near the top. x.com/pokeca_book/status/1847990601893159412?s=46&t=WvvseieK6nMMQ6rerZFlFw Doesn’t look like enough decks will run Kyurem ex to be a problem.
The answer might not be either or. There are a few Dragapult builds that have Pidgeot and Dusknoir that have done really well in online tournaments. Here’s an example of one recently that got 1st out of 255 players: play.limitlesstcg.com/tournament/66ec4a43a39c5e0621c064ca/player/dusaspades/decklist If you can, try all variations and see which one works best for you. And just in case you don’t have all the cards in Pokemon TCG Live, you can still build decks either cards you don’t have and still have the opportunity to test the deck against the AI.
@@InThirdPerson Thanks for the answer! Have been doing really well in ptcglive with both a dusknoir focused build and a pidgeot focused build. Guess its time to try the best of both worlds thru that limitless list nd see whats up.
It’s for the confusion effect. Personally I like the other version because of the art. And I don’t plan on wasting my energies on the one that does confusion.
I think I had tunnel vision on getting Lumineon for Arven for switch plus a tool. Combination of me making moves before thinking through all my options as well as being punished for not prize checking.
Is there a reason why Dragonpult can hit Manaphy? Reading the text is doesn't sound like it should, it's not like Jirachi that specifically says to block damage counters from "basic pokemon" how is Manaphy not stopping Dragonpult?
Manaphy only stops direct damage from attacks but not the effect of placing damage counters. Since Dragapult's effect places counters, it bypasses Manaphy.
@@davidherdoizamorales7832 its an intentional distinction... It doesn't matter what it's called, the designers wanted that effect to bypass bench protection, it could be worded completely different and it'd do the same thing.
Since it is a secondary "effect" it is not considered the primary damage. As most other cards state clearly damage is not an effect. I got into a fight with a dev over this issue. Like literally what's the dang point of even running manaphy when it literally doesn't serve its purpose. Also look at Rabsca from the festival grounds deck. That card does literally block both.
hey I'm a player who absolutely love the game, im currently at master league but im super stuck rotating between my roaring moon deck and charizard deck... I have 3k credits and 2k diamonds but i not sure what to build especially to make it to arceus from master league, help or advise
Both of those decks can take you to Arceus League. If you’re looking to play something different, maybe consider sprucing up one of the other starter decks. Lugia just won a major tournament in Brazil and Gholdengo got top 4 recently in Germany. Lugia: limitlesstcg.com/decks/list/12920 Gholdengo: limitlesstcg.com/decks/list/12974 That said, if you’re comfortable with Charizard and Roaring Moon, those in the immediate term will work better than trying to learn a new archetype from scratch.
man there is no quick way to collect credits, I know because I also consider myself as a new player. Well, not that new like you but I gave a long break after playing for a little time. All you can do is play.. Play as much as you can and try to achieve your daily battlepass quests (assuming you have unlocked your premium pass ofc). You will collect quite enough gems and credits after you have completed 2 battlepass. But, current battlepass is going to be ended within three weeks unfortunatelly. Apart from these InThisPerson should have some tips & tricks videos for the new beginners. Check them out.

Have you looked into the Torterra EX decks? seems super fun

I just realized u cant craft cards, now i can finally use my 200k credits 😂
Love this kind of decks!

Between the dortmund build and a pidgeot focused build, which would you guys say is better overall? Trying to build dragapult irl atm

@@DBboon Dragizard is better.
I can’t win with this deck for my life.
Why does everyone use this duskskull?
Cause dusknoirs ability blows himself up and does 130 damage to any pokemon
@I8igf57jjgxr what does that have to do with that specific dusksull
It’s for the confusion effect. Personally I like the other version because of the art. And I don’t plan on wasting my energies on the one that does confusion.
At 20 minute mark why didn’t you just get energy to retreat the rotom over the iono and you’d keep your hand also?

Dragapult no longer bulk. Still not a fan of dusknoir cause it gatekeeps all the interesting decks

Seriously needs reworked or stated differently
I build a version of this deck, but i remove 1 tatsuguiri and 1 roton and put 1 line of pidgeot ex. For me this is better
