How to beat Snake's Trial: Sonic Frontiers

If you're like me and haven't touched Sonic Frontiers in quite some time, but have come back for update 3 you might find that the new challenges in this game are quite hard. I spent too much pointless time on this trial while there was an easy solution to beating it, so in order to save you all time I created this guide!

This would be so much easier if the combat system actually goddamn functioned and didn't make Sonic just uselessly faceplant into the enemy's ballsack every now and then and break your combo.

Here’s how i did it. Cycloop close, as soon as the shield starts to go up homing attack ONCE followed rapidly by stomp attack (as you push the control stick toward the target). This combo can produce a 2-3 combo hit. The stomp even does damage after the shield returns. Be patient. Slow and close cycloop helped me.

@@Kay_Sea27 nah I went for attack, attack, kick. And Tiger's trial was easy btw. That's the next tower. Tower number 4 is difficult to climb

This is great and all but there is a much faster and easier way to clear the snake trial and here's how.
1. Make the enemy throw its spinning blade
(the further you are from the enemy the larger the turning radius of the spinning blade, thus giving you more time to deal damge)
2. Quickly homing attack the enemy and start punching it while the spinning blade is still flying its way back
3. Parry the spinning blade when it comes back, then continue punching the enemy until you have to parry the spinning blade again (repeat this cycle until the enemy is destroyed, and use the same strategy on the other enemies too)
Remember there is a time limit so you need yo do this as quick as you can.

I manged to beat this with 30 secs to spare. What i did was a cylooped around the enemy super close like to the point where sonic is kissing the dude. Then after cylooping i paused for a bit for the shield to go up and then pressed square square circle. Thats two attacks and a stomp and then repeated 😭😭😭 good luck guys 😤🙏

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. No matter what button combo I hit or how fast I hit it sonic just does a single homing attack (no matter how close I am) and nothing else. I've tried this trial well over 50 times now and I think it's genuinely impossible. I guess I'll never see the end of this dlc

It was a trick. Don’t use the cyberloop. Just hit the enemy when it throws its disk then parry the disk and keep hitting it and parry again when the disk comes back. Saves you so much time. Trust me. I did it. It was a piece of piss after. I was relieved.

Here's a better way to do it by another player: get away and wait for it to throw the disc at you. As soon as it does, homing attack it, and when the disc comes around, parry it, and keep attacking. Keep parrying and attacking over and over for all 4 of them, and you should complete it in a short amount of time.

This took me a lot of tries. You gotta be patient and determined. Honestly by spamming xxb (attack, attack, kick) this really does become easier. Good luck I know you can do it.

@@SonicTheory96 no matter what I do that combo REFUSES to work. Sonic keeps trying to do homing attacks regardless of how far I am away from the enemy. I never get a second strike in let alone enough time to hit O. The combat in this game is so broken to the point that I am unable to even finish it on easy.

No tutorial helped me at all the timer is too short for anyone on easy mode it should have been 2 minutes on harder modes only. This update is ridiculous and UNFAIR! No FUN!
