- Hi everyone,
Well, I finally got my microgreens up and growing again!
In this video, I show you how I grow my Radish Microgreens. I am only doing one tray in this video but you follow the same instruction as you do when planting multiple trays, less the stacking.I will also do a quick harvest video on the radish that will be harvested on Friday.
I will do a video once a week on microgreens, so I will show you each crop we grow as well as the harvest.

Great video. For anyone bottom watering microgreens or regular plant starts, make sure that your shelving, table or bench is perfectly level.

YAY I have been patiently waiting for the next Micro greens video! for the Radish do you prefer the tray with holes vs. the mesh tray?
I do infact like the trays with holes verses mesh trays, I find they germinate much better as well as clean up is way easier. but that is only my preference.
I think that's right. starting to understand. dark phase. Save the lights until you need them. 30 watts for 12 hours a day, add up.
live and learn. -brian I'm simply doing Likert wheat for chicken fodder/sprout. But it's related.

What is the purpose of adding a 15lb weight on top of the seeds at seeding? Is there a gap between the seeds and top of the weight tray? or is it meant to have no space at germination? Thank you.

Quick question, I am wrestling back and forth between using soil or terra mats. Please tell me, do you find a difference in taste or yield? I’ve been finding that using soil in my small grow space smells musty. Do you only use terra fibre?
Can you please tell me what is the best light timer, and what is the best irregation timer which one is the best one to buy.

the sunflower seed doesn't grow well in the tera mats, my best media is the coco coir blocks that I reconstitute in bin of warm water. and I don't use the blue stuff, may try that..

We put it into a compost just for the mats as they take about a year to fully decompose.

Do you have a link for your scale? I have purchased a couple of scales through other links and they have turned out to be junk. I need a reliable scale.
