I ordered a 24 N in manual. But tried the DCT just prior to the purchase. It's not even close. Went with the DCT in Cyber Gray. Already added a TTC engine lower mount, hood and trunk struts, tint and an oil catch can. Can't wait to auto cross this Elantra!
@@arthurmroyce I like the Veloster! I just can't get used to 3 doors, and I'm far to tall to fin into on. But I fit myself into a Civic with the seat reclined all the way. Some ofd about driving while partially looking up at the headliner.
@bobdavis3357 actually, I love the three door layout. A coupe for the driver and access to put my 'cello in the back seat on the other side. It also discourages passengers! I am 5'11" so no issues with my fit.

But it's also a hatch. I think k Hyundai should have kept the V in production, in my humble opinion. I'm happy for you that you are enjoying your car.
I have the 2024 in Red, best decision ever. I am getting about 30 mpg if driving normally at medium distances, eco mode and long distance driving i am getting 36. My combind over 5k miles is 26mpg
Had the N , it was really good and felt much like a BMW that they copied the dynamics from. Interior and infotainment was tops 😆 my only gripe was a Front wheel drive . If they made it AWD big improvement
This car IS the REAL deal. Mid 13s in the qtr, 0-60 in 4.6 seconds with digital shift dual clutch automatic.this car is an excellent handling Lil sports sedan. Top speed can reach or exceed the 160mph barrier when you remove the top speed governor. Of course, no one in their right mind would attempt to drive 160mph on the road, right,😉
@@bobdavis3357 actually tbh. As an owner of a Forte GT. The Elantra N doesn't have a governor and neither does the Forte GT. The N has hit 168 and 173 stock. And the Kia forte has reported hitting 155+ stock. It's insane.

I'm not always right, but I am 100 percent correct here. And we've sold these cars now for 21 years. Just because "It's been reported,doesn't means that it's true".

The paint on my 2011 Gen Coupe looked better than new after 10 years when I finally traded her. My wife had a 2013 Elantra GT and it also looked great when she traded for a new Genesis GV70. Do you keep up with keeping the paint properly detailed?
@klasseact6663 my Veloster N is white. So far so good. My car was made in Ulsan not the US. The engine issues were related to the US plants as I recall. Maybe they screwed up the paint too? Fingers crossed. Thanks
So there are 2 different stories, to mention on this Particular Model Hyundai. 1. In Riverside California in Stock trim gets its owners Refereed and Fail. Mind they got pulled over doing less than 35 mph. 2. A Hyundai Tech bought one and at 8,000 miles it needed a new engine.. A. Hyundai rejected repair and replacement. a. The Hyundai Tech bought the replacement and installed it himself...and got rid of it. b. So much for the 10 year 100,000 mile warranty... lol Personally I will never buy front wheel drive, Turbo anything, and Automatic, and especially the Select Shift features.... I own a Mustang GT Performance Pack with the 3rd Fun Pedal 6 Speed Manual Transmission.. V8's Forever ❣️🏎🏁🚩👦👍🌲🏞🧗

Too this year I had 3 months without a car because I was hit, and in that time if I was offered a free electric vehicle (EV's) I still wouldn't accept it even if you included $100,000 cash with it.. why you would ask is because I was able buy a 2018 V8 Mustang GT which cost less than the Taxes and insurance cost than an Electric Vehicle. 👦👍🏎🏁🚩🌧

Yup! My Kona N easily gets low/mid 30s on the highway. Surprisingly efficient.
I've gotten up to 36.6 mile per gallon in my 24 N. Love this car!

What speed governor? There are a number of stock top speed vids showing over 170 mph.
