- hey guys, we're back for more reads. by we i mean me, freddy. hope u enjoy the newest chapter in the '89 saga. we have some character introductions that were planned for a cancelled batman movie. we also have bruce being more reclusive than ever. stay tuned till the end to figure out wtf, cuz wtf.

Love your videos, bro. Batman 89 from the movies to the comics is my best batman. Keaton took his Batman to a whole another level and if it wasn't for Sam Hamm we wouldn't got the best live action Batmen. Fun fact: The batman copycats was Sam Hamm's original idea not Christopher Nolan's. If u read Sam Hamm's Batman 2 (Unproduced) script he was the first to have batman copycats. Before we saw other Robins wearing the hoodie like Damien Wayne, Sam Hamm had that idea first in his Batman 2 (Unproduced) script which later end up in Batman 89 comics. So many ideas was used from his Batman 2 (Unproduced Script) but was later scrapped Some elements were in Batman Returns and later movies like Batman Forever and Dark Knight trilogy. Sam Hamm a genius when writing Batman screenplays and comics.
I did read Batman 2 by Sam Hamm, and that's why I treated this as a sequel to 89.
Direct sequel novel
On April 11, 2024, it was announced that a new novel would be released which would tie-in to the film. Announced with the title Batman: Resurrection, the novel was to be written by author John Jackson Miller, and would act as a direct sequel to the film. The premise of the novel was to be set in between the events of Batman and its sequel Batman: Returns, with Batman focusing on dismantling the remnants of Joker's organization while contemplating on the idea that Joker might not actually be dead. The novel would also include certain characters introduced in the sequel, with one example being Max Shreck.

Glad to see you upload again, bud! I also read the first issue as I Was also blown away and shocked at the same time that Firefly is Bruce Wayne. Though I do have a theory as to why issue #1 ended the way it did. See, because Dr. Crane is one of the villains in this storyline, I feel that Wayne is using this "Robert Lowery" alias as a means to do detective work on Crane and his intentions in Arkham Asylum while also keeping his promise with Barbara Gordon that was mentioned earlier in the same story. Other than that, the story is off to an incredible start and it is really great to see the return of Batman '89 with the next chapter of the saga. See you soon for part 2

They need to make animated movie out of it just like Batman The Return of the Cape Crusaders.

Fucking awesome, man. The Batman 89 Shadows story was amazing, and that's what I want Batman Returns to be, not the whole goddamn fairly tale. Batman 89 Echoes was pretty good.
And yes, I knew that Batman 89 Echoes is based on Batman Unchained (which had Nicolas Cage as The Scarecrow). But yes, don't get me wrong, I always prefer Tim Burton's Batman and Joel Schumacher's Batman being the same guy.
