They'll never ever give us a way to get old sculptures back. If they did I would have literally 10 legendary commanders of sculptures to use on all brand new commanders and it would take 3 years before I actually spent money on something commander wise

Resets would definitely have good and bad effects, but the way that it was explained at the meetup getting free resets at a certain kvk would be cool, except what’s stopping a player that’s been playing for 5 years from just going backwards 😂. Thanks for the vid Omni!
What I'd like to see is a way to get into dead alliances with application active, like as soon as every player has been offline for a certain amount of time, you can join the alliance without having to apply so that the alliance becomes just open for all.
I don’t like the idea of giving t5 away. Because as a f2p I am grinding, and it will be such an accomplishment once I do get them. It doesn’t make sense just to give them away to players that don’t put in the effort, and makes it unfair for those that spent ages trying to get them.
I can understand that, but if it makes it better for new players and makes the game more healthy for them, i'll take it. Hopefully they would compensate the players that worked for it though!
i think it makes sense because those who already have T5 will def be compensated in some way and they probably wont give it away for free but allow research building to be upgraded to level 25 without all of the other buildings, requiring you to still do research

Without drastically reducing t4/t5 cost something I highly doubt lilith is willing to do IMO they'll shoot themselves in foot with it, it'll do more harm than good. Not saying they shouldn't make t5 more accessible but simply unlock it without working on other aspects like healing and training costs (and time, especially to heal) isn't good.
Add a rebirth ceremony after each kvk, it will make commanders more accessible for new and f2p players, and it will encourage players to experiment and learn about commanders more making the game more exciting and sort of unpredictable

They do the least and expect the most. They typically run their mouths in kingdom chat when things don't go their way. They become toxic because they have very little to lose. They have spent very little if any, money on their account. Let's consider the implications of giving away T5, as some content creators advocate. It's not just about the initial giveaway. What about the ongoing costs of maintaining T5 during battles? If we're to make such a significant change, we need to consider the broader implications and have a clear plan in place.
I want a special thing where it’s like you can recycle commanders, or “refund”. Say you expertised scipi prime then he got power crept and isnt used anymore. If there was a way to recycle the commander and get all the heads back that you used on him to use on another commander that would be amazing.
I think they could add some kinda legendary head investment reset but like one per month, just one per month, so you can like reset some commander and get back every sculpture you put on him
Marching animation will be awesome in game, it will let us know who to hit first and also know when to run when a specific enemy is hitting you, because you will know it's a whale😅
Not really on topic with this video but I want to here other people's perspectives, new level of commanders above legendary ..new meta unlocked earlier so new players have something end game viable before kvk3 and old players can't just immediately max the new commanders because they need the new universal heads
2 opinions I've got. 1) there needs to be more than 1 commander reset. I remember on my first account i sunk all my goldheads pre kvk1 because i didn't know better. And in the long run that hurt like a b. Sure i could have went on reddit or whatever, but that shouldn't be required. To be honest another option could be after kvk1 all ur legos reset now that you've actually learnt more about the game and continue from there.
And 2) I have mixed feelings on t5 insta. It isn't the worst idea, bit they could also implement it differently. Eg. A special buff that players can get where the speedups used for tech in that weekend or whatever are doubled, to help push them to that golden glory.
for the auto t5 , it could be that you unlock t5 for the duration of kvk , and after kvk u cannot use t5 , just like the early kvk exclusive engineering commanders
I would he fine if they got 1 t5 unit and they didint get the previous max tech as well. That way they still had to work to get around to the special unit
@Old_Guardian I actually like that a lot. You don't get t5 tech but just pick 1 t5 troop type. Still feels like a bunch in the gut to someone like me who's went t5 kvk 1 twice but this could be a compromise I supposed
It would be nice if there was an item that resets commanders and they hurt your heads but this item that only gives 1 per game anniversary so that everyone is equal
They have an obvious fix that is easy. When sending out a march, or when healing units in hospital, it would be great to have unit type radio button. When not using a preset (and those are buggy) it is really annoying to reset all the sliders to remove unit types you don't want. Same with hospital when you want to heal ONLY a specific unit type, and you have to adjust a dozen sliders to remove units you don't want to heal.

Resets will help a lot, especially for f2p that max out a commander, just for him to become obsolete a few months later...Also T5 should stay grindable...not free

T5 isn’t a big problem for most people. I am f2p and don’t have t5 yet in soc. I don’t even worry about it because equipment and commanders are way more important. T4 are strong enough on the field and less resources needed. The only thing that I need t5 for is events because training t5 or upgrading t4 to t5 gives way more points.
T6 unit could be a healer, so when there is no combat on screen slightly wounded troops can heal like when you camp in the mini story. A 1 in 50 chance the healer dies each round. Healer takes 4 days to build
I have a few ideas: 1) Rework Ottoman, so there will be more then 1 viable option for city skin in endgame. 2) Going into SoC bump ALL the sub SoC Legendaries down to Epic plus, PurplePrime or whatever you wanna call it (give them like with a silver flare or something (compared to the gold one for Prime commanders)) So that new players have a visual of who to go for and not.
many people wish is a fast tank archer so it can run with other marches n survive as well. Idk if you guys suggest this to dev or not but it's really important at this point 🙂
I have a 150m account just sitting in limbo…the GH situation was definitely 1 of the reasons I stopped playing. If they gave a reset option would definitely help me come back to the game. It’s something I’ve spoken to customer support about numbeorus times.
I think too many commander resets would be bad, so 1 for free then maybe 1 time a year, but the 10k gems for one, thats like the cost of 5 gold heads in the vip shop, so I like the idea of maybe with your lillith pass birthday gift you get once a year or your accounts yearly anniversary or every 2 years.

The cosmetic for vip 19 seems really good, now I really want some cosmetics for the lower vip levels in that shop (if it is implemented), like for example vip 12 gets common cosmetics, vip15 gets epic and vip19 gets the legendary ones, that would be insanely good for every player experience Changing the topic, I'm f2p too and don't understand why people are so greedy or like they have no sympathy for new players lmao? This is a game and no one should be suffering so much to unlock t5 but the fact that we had that experience doesn't mean that everyone in the future should too imo. Also with the approach Omni says it's only like 30 days of speedups to unlock 1 t5 unit (not counting the previous tech) so it's like nothing and it's so useful for new players
I suffered during kvk 1 and 2 because i saved my gh for soc commander. I have now enough to expertize right away a meta commander. Other player invested into CM, YSG, Alex and expertised them. By doing so they were way more competitive. I didn’t did it because i didn’t wanted to jeopardize my end game. And now, those players without long term vision will not be penalized ?? 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
17:01 only thing I could see is not requiring the Castle to be lvl 25 to upgrade the Academy to lvl 25. Which was always stupid. Its extremely costly. Regardless whatever they to make T5 unlock free in someway, they owe every player the 30k+ (I honestly dont remember how much it cost but its definitely an insane amount) gems back from having to unlock the castle. If they do that, I’ll be content with this. If not its a slap in the face to ppl who struggled to max their castle

GH refund could be control by giving back just 50% and limited to be use by the same troop type like infa commanders can only be use for infa commanders as well🤷 Doesn't kill mges or gh-related events.
I think 1 reset every one thousand days logged in wouldn't be bad. Dokkan Battle for DBZ has something similar with cumulative login exclusive LR characters. Rewards players for long term player and isn't handled out easily.
I think they should provide an opt-out option for T5, or a button to push to get it rather than “being forced” to get T5. Otherwise all farms in a KD will suddenly boost to 50M power - that will screw up seed power a lot :)
if they added a new era, I would not be opposed to them adding a whole new tier of economic tech, to help mitigate the farm problem so players don't need as many farms. as for giving free t5 to all kvk 4 players. I think they need to fix matchmaking before they do that. Alot of these newer kingdoms in SoC(kvk 5) have really high activity, like always getting top 3 pre kvk type activity. if that volume of players all had tier 5 unlocked, the majority of these kingdoms would be High A seed in power, and if they got matched against any older A seeds at similar power levels, they would get stomped hard because it would be 200 1 march players vs 50 5+ march players..the sheer difference in account quality would produce a lopsided matchup even though it would look even on paper so if they went forward with this, they would also need to fix matchmaking for newer kingdoms to be paired with other relatively younger kingdoms or else we are running into the same problem we have, 1 KVK later than before free t5 at SoC 4
Well, they have it feature when you first start your account where you can get a refund on one legendary command, but at that point in the game it’s basically useless. They should put that later in the game and at least let you get a refund on one commander
the best of commander reset in kvk 3 or 4, is that they can fight in kvk 1 or 2, actually they are saving sculptures to use in meta commanders of SOC, kvk 1 or 2 is boring for new players
VIP shouldn't be about the people that will never get it. VIP should be rewarding the people who are spending enough to obtain those rewards, at any level. We are investing in our game play. As a spender I don't look forward to skins for VIP 19. That does not excite me at all. I want something that will help me with the grinding that is RoK, and doesn't have to be combat stats. Give me more AP, more RSS, faster gathering, more materials, etc. T5 ain't cheap.
my account is 352 days old and i have same amount in consecutive days. since then i have managed to win all kvk and now soc! im 40m power and almost everything in academy 9/10 i just need castle up and then im golden! i have been very very active during those 350 days. 99% of the time i have done 100 daily points. =) just got vip 12 damn i just dream of 18 :D
I don't think it will happen, even buying a reset for 300k gems is profitable for us.Maybe they will give a reset as a gift, or as a one-time purchase like the gem pack. so players stop complaining.
Can make the reset token like a skill reset, a few and far between recharge reward, and/or a lvl 20+ reward in a 7k gem event, equally rare event with premium rewards
No free t5 unlock ! Thats litterally washing all the progress everyone has done down the drain , its probably the hardest thing to accomplish at least for me and the only compensation id settle for is same amount of speedups , rss for everything that requires to unlock them and some gems on top of that. This should be an accomplishment any account should be proud of if your a low spender or f2p.
All of these updates are all good, for the t5 update I agree with you, due to it being unfair for those who have. I really hope the commander reset does make it into the next update. When do you believe these updates will come out. For us older players I hope they allow us to reset a character weather it’s buying the reset through the VIP shop or for purchase. I am a retuning player and severely behind relative to anyone else in my kingdom (migrating back is hell for those who are not 50M T5) so a reset will allow me to max out at least 1 meta commanders also exploit reset althæfled for 690 use the heads to upgrade a character. Just kidding but allowing to use her heads as normal gold heads for key commanders/ KvK 1,2 commanders once she is max
Only giving resets to players entering kvk 3 for the first time is terrible. In 2024 if you need a commander reset you are doing it wrong. Late game players need it more then anything and Lilith keeps ignoring it
If you spent money to unlock t5, that money is not gone. You will forever be that much further ahead of players who did not pay to unlock them. The money is gone, but the advantage you bought persists. Unless they give away, for free, what you paid for. Then it is gone. I don't mind the idea of unlocking your civs special unit type for free though. Especially if the prereq tech remains as it were
if they give one choice to unlock t5 its anyway be masive. coz most ppl before get t5 they got field fight experience. if they got insta t5 then we see feeders in field thats for sure

The cosmetic for vip 19 seems really good, now I really want some cosmetics for the lower vip levels in that shop (if it is implemented), like for example vip 12 gets common cosmetics, vip15 gets epic and vip19 gets the legendary ones, that would be insanely good for every player experience
Changing the topic, I'm f2p too and don't understand why people are so greedy or like they have no sympathy for new players lmao? This is a game and no one should be suffering so much to unlock t5 but the fact that we had that experience doesn't mean that everyone in the future should too imo.
Also with the approach Omni says it's only like 30 days of speedups to unlock 1 t5 unit (not counting the previous tech) so it's like nothing and it's so useful for new players
I suffered during kvk 1 and 2 because i saved my gh for soc commander. I have now enough to expertize right away a meta commander. Other player invested into CM, YSG, Alex and expertised them. By doing so they were way more competitive. I didn’t did it because i didn’t wanted to jeopardize my end game. And now, those players without long term vision will not be penalized ?? 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

17:01 only thing I could see is not requiring the Castle to be lvl 25 to upgrade the Academy to lvl 25. Which was always stupid. Its extremely costly.
Regardless whatever they to make T5 unlock free in someway, they owe every player the 30k+ (I honestly dont remember how much it cost but its definitely an insane amount) gems back from having to unlock the castle.

GH refund could be control by giving back just 50% and limited to be use by the same troop type like infa commanders can only be use for infa commanders as well🤷 Doesn't kill mges or gh-related events.

I think 1 reset every one thousand days logged in wouldn't be bad. Dokkan Battle for DBZ has something similar with cumulative login exclusive LR characters. Rewards players for long term player and isn't handled out easily.
I think they should provide an opt-out option for T5, or a button to push to get it rather than “being forced” to get T5. Otherwise all farms in a KD will suddenly boost to 50M power - that will screw up seed power a lot :)

if they added a new era, I would not be opposed to them adding a whole new tier of economic tech, to help mitigate the farm problem so players don't need as many farms. as for giving free t5 to all kvk 4 players. I think they need to fix matchmaking before they do that.
Alot of these newer kingdoms in SoC(kvk 5) have really high activity, like always getting top 3 pre kvk type activity. if that volume of players all had tier 5 unlocked, the majority of these kingdoms would be High A seed in power, and if they got matched against any older A seeds at similar power levels, they would get stomped hard because it would be 200 1 march players vs 50 5+ march players..the sheer difference in account quality would produce a lopsided matchup even though it would look even on paper
so if they went forward with this, they would also need to fix matchmaking for newer kingdoms to be paired with other relatively younger kingdoms or else we are running into the same problem we have, 1 KVK later than before free t5 at SoC 4
Well, they have it feature when you first start your account where you can get a refund on one legendary command, but at that point in the game it’s basically useless. They should put that later in the game and at least let you get a refund on one commander

the best of commander reset in kvk 3 or 4, is that they can fight in kvk 1 or 2, actually they are saving sculptures to use in meta commanders of SOC, kvk 1 or 2 is boring for new players
VIP shouldn't be about the people that will never get it. VIP should be rewarding the people who are spending enough to obtain those rewards, at any level. We are investing in our game play. As a spender I don't look forward to skins for VIP 19. That does not excite me at all. I want something that will help me with the grinding that is RoK, and doesn't have to be combat stats. Give me more AP, more RSS, faster gathering, more materials, etc. T5 ain't cheap.
my account is 352 days old and i have same amount in consecutive days. since then i have managed to win all kvk and now soc! im 40m power and almost everything in academy 9/10 i just need castle up and then im golden! i have been very very active during those 350 days. 99% of the time i have done 100 daily points. =) just got vip 12 damn i just dream of 18 :D
I don't think it will happen, even buying a reset for 300k gems is profitable for us.Maybe they will give a reset as a gift, or as a one-time purchase like the gem pack. so players stop complaining.

No free t5 unlock ! Thats litterally washing all the progress everyone has done down the drain , its probably the hardest thing to accomplish at least for me and the only compensation id settle for is same amount of speedups , rss for everything that requires to unlock them and some gems on top of that.
This should be an accomplishment any account should be proud of if your a low spender or f2p.

All of these updates are all good, for the t5 update I agree with you, due to it being unfair for those who have. I really hope the commander reset does make it into the next update. When do you believe these updates will come out.
For us older players I hope they allow us to reset a character weather it’s buying the reset through the VIP shop or for purchase. I am a retuning player and severely behind relative to anyone else in my kingdom (migrating back is hell for those who are not 50M T5) so a reset will allow me to max out at least 1 meta commanders also exploit reset althæfled for 690 use the heads to upgrade a character. Just kidding but allowing to use her heads as normal gold heads for key commanders/ KvK 1,2 commanders once she is max

Only giving resets to players entering kvk 3 for the first time is terrible. In 2024 if you need a commander reset you are doing it wrong. Late game players need it more then anything and Lilith keeps ignoring it

If you spent money to unlock t5, that money is not gone. You will forever be that much further ahead of players who did not pay to unlock them. The money is gone, but the advantage you bought persists. Unless they give away, for free, what you paid for. Then it is gone.
I don't mind the idea of unlocking your civs special unit type for free though. Especially if the prereq tech remains as it were
