Such a lovely game. The only thing I don't like is the hyper precision which the CPU has, it feels cheap that the Bazooka and Hand Grenades are virtually free and infinite Homing Missiles for them most of the time. On the other hand, that makes it sweeter when you trounce the bastards anyway.
These videos do teach me a thing or two, never thought to use the worm struck with the baseball bat as a projectile to fling another into the water. I must try that one. Worms 2/Armageddon is a very fun and tense game to both play and watch, I love the mix of silly cartoon violence with thoughtful strategy.
Great to see another worms video. Btw about national anthems: The Swedish one is only about how beautiful the country is and how happy you are to be living there. Quite the contrast to some others.
@@0neDoomedSpaceMarine From what I have found it has been used since 1844 and I can't find any data on any older one that everybody sang. During the time Sweden was seen as a great power I could find that the Carolean soldiers sang the prayer "Our Father" (Fader vår) as a unifying song before battles but that seem to have stopped after Karl XII death in 1718. Mostly it seems like different folk songs and religious songs has been used in different parts of the country but not any specific one. "Du Gamla du Fria" is also mostly composed by parts of folk songs and funnily enough criticism was levied against it early on for being too vague and not patriotic enough.
BTW, I've seen Mablak's Deathless-Deathmatch speedrun. I think it was quite incredible that something like that is even possible. I believe that the 3 hours 30 mark is quite generous, feel like having a crack at that any time soon?? ;P Hey, at least it would generate a WHOLE-LOTTA great clips of you raging on streams over it... xD I know I would watch it about like a million times that...
I have tried Deathless a couple of times before, but each time I've just found myself thinking "I'd rather this was a normal run so I can try and PB." Once I feel I have no further to go in this category I may revisit it
This speedrun feels like Family Feud where only the last round really matters. I don't really get speed games where the splits will alternate red and green 🤷🏽♂️
Hey are you going to make a special weapon tier list? If you do then i suggest making a combination of special weapons and all utilities too so you will cover every weapon in the game. I also suggest making an all mission tier list in Worms 2
I think this is a huge improvement from your runs 2 years ago tho (obviously), as on those you usually paid a big price for rushing some of your attacks and then enemy worms surviving. In this run, you took a little longer ensuring, for example, that the cows hit the worms properly. Maybe if you analyzed your runs comparing against the old ones, you might discover some areas of improvement where you've already improved, but not as much as maybe you should. Also you definitely played better without chat, just saying. Still, a lot of it is RNG as well and hoping enemy worms don't do random stuff like warping...

How long have we had that one? Maybe we had a more aggressive one back when we used to fight and subjugate our neighbors.
