I think the reason why we like these videos is not because of ratings per se, it's because it's cool to see a professional discuss some of these silly weapons you're never gonna see them discuss otherwise.
My biggest grief is that the banana bomb, despite being iconic, isn't a hand of bananas (aka a bunch). It would've made much more sense considering how it divides after the initial explosion. Also, I generally think that throwing a bunch on an enemy is much more ridiculous than a single banana.
Super Banana Bomb doesn't give a lot more than the regular Banana Bomb, but it's still slightly better in my opinion to be able to detonate when you want.
I just like to imagine someone not knowing Worms and listening to that without context nor the video. "The bounciness of the carpets is off the sharts" "The bananalets spread randomly, so you have to be quite far away to not be damaged"
I appreciate this tier list because it meant someone finally explained what was the deal with some of the weapons, such as the French Sheep Strike being based off of something that actually happened, or Mike's Carpet Bomb was a reference to something and not just a really bad pun for carpet bombing. Who knew a silly game would be educational in that way
I love this sort of commentary and subtle jokes in between from you! Very well made, you certainly have a lot of experience and have shown absolutely gorgeous examples in your footage. Truly amazing work, mate!!
Not a speedrunner myself but I was playing World Party out of boredom and I was having a rough time beating elite rank battles and suddenly got the Scale of Justice and it actually helped me win the match since my two worms were in very low health and when i used it both had like 400 HP lmao
I learned something about all the weapons in both Tier List videos, I enjoyed them a bunch. I'd hope to see one for the remaining Special Weapons, I'd be sure to learn more there, and it's always interesting to hear a seasoned speedrunner's perspective on their games of choice. Minigun sounds like a misnomer, though the real life M134 Minigun was a scaled down version of the M61 Vulcan, the Vulcan being a big 20mm cannon attached to fighter jets, and the Minigun being the much smaller 7.62mm version of that, which could be placed on helicopters, or even ground vehicles like cars. Minigun kind of became a generic catch-all nickname for weapons of this kind in pop culture and common parlance (so called Gatling Guns, being conceptually based on the old handcranked ones from the US Civil War), because everyone thought the handheld one in the movies Predator and Terminator 2 was so damn wicked cool.
Gran' 'n informati', its eur while sin ah av played worms, bur ah doa still rememba most o' t' weapons. ah liked t' longa clips wi' i' depth explanation.
If I could change the rank, I would put ming vase up in low great tier, it's just so much more controllable than banana bombs. I would also place super banana bomb above banana bomb in great
@@RuffledBricks it was a joke it's because you can make some abstract art with it or make so-called "meme bunkers" but yeah, their usefulness is quite narrow and way too situational love ur vids btw
I imagine a TAS seeking to spawn Armageddon and concrete donkey a lot, donkey might e faster if you get a good spread for it, but just manipulating an Armageddon and getting it to kill everything can work in any situation, even if you are heavily protected, a few good hits on your position will end you.
sure, super banana is not much better than a normal banana, but it's still better in every possible way. for example, one can reliably make all bananlets damage a single worm by double tapping the spacebar.
Super banana is better when enemy worms are all next to each other, but it's worse otherwise. When the worms are more scattered around, you have to wait for the bomblets to all settle down before you can blow them up, and oftentimes they might just bounce off where you don't want them to. The regular banana doesn't have this problem, since all the bomblets just explode on contact with terrain. And not to mention that banana is way better at digging through terrain and killing stuff hidden behind said terrain. With the regular banana, one of the clusters could open a path to an enemy and another could land on said enemy. With super banana this can't happen because all the clusters just detonate all at once. And if you decide to suicide bomb worms with one of your own, or the terrain is placed in such a way that all bomblets explode pretty much right away, you can just achieve the same effect as double-tapping a super banana. Banana just feels more versatile to me
Great video! I thought Super sheep was included as a super weapon too and aqua sheep as well? No matter, well done! Could you also make a tier list for every mission in worms world party?
Super Sheep is a Special Weapon, not a Super Weapon. As mentioned in the video, I'm aiming to do a ranking list of those at some point. WWP missions tier list has been recorded and I've started editing that one.
@@RuffledBricksWill you make a special weapon tier list? If you do then i have 2 suggestions. First you could combine special weapons and utilities into 1 tier list so you cover the rest of the crates. And the second suggestion is in the same video as the special weapon and utility tier list but you can also make a tier list of all weapons and only show a summary of where you would put every weapon in comparison to each othee including, super weapon, special weapon and utility into one tier list so you can compare where you would put each one of them.
Freeze in player vs player is just terrible Not only you can easily just place landmine on the freezed worm head(If it is not the next turn worm), If you know exactly which worm will be played next turn, you can throw petrol bomb on that worm Skip the enemy turn plus free damage.

You would expect more realism from a game like Worms Armageddon

These vids are champion tier!
As a suggestion, a map theme tier list could be fun.
Grass *shakes fist!*
All grass maps defenetly would go to the F tier. Although, map props vary in a shape and size quie a lot, would love to see map tierlist
Would love another tier list on the remaining weapons!
Me to!
I've been waiting for this tierlist! Happy to see my favorite Magic Missle on the top

Interesting that the super 'bananalets' change from their maximum time of 10s to a fixed timer of 3s when you take damage 16:48

please do mere tierlist, i dont know about what, but i really enjoy these - they are my favorite videos to sleep to!

Yorkshire Bread and Yorkshire Butter
girder starter pack should have been S tier god damn
Please explain to me why it's so brilliant for speeding up Deathmatch speedruns? Clearly I've missed something.

My bad. Seen too many people use "god damn" on YT unironically. Thanks for clarifying!
pains me a little bit to see a weapon so useful in missions to be rated as junk for deathmatches.

What about the Special Weapons? Is there a ranking for this?
I feel like Indian nuclear test raises the water by a lot more than worms 2’s nuclear bomb

Yeah but a freeze used right before sudden death can easily win matches.
Still waiting for the starting weapons video bricks
Liking this video ONLY for the "5-a-day" Dad joke
Ming Vase is OP in WMD
Hey! Is there a way to add these super weapons to play in online matches? I would love to play with me lads with all available weapons
Ey b0ss, where's that Special Weapons/Team Weapons list at, my guy? I'm dying over here.
French strike is worst than a banana????? man u love overate banana and mines
Explain why I'm wrong. I'll wait.
29:43 its just rude not to XD
amazing analysis from a super master of this game, love it
28:20 Is Armageddon a super weapon meteorite fall to destroy landscape, like end of the world ?
