Generally you can use any fog liquid, fog solution or fog juice in most machine. And you can also get different colors for effect, which is sold at Walmart, Party City and other retailers near you. But if not, you can order it online for a reasonable amount.

YES IT DOES IT SET MINE OFF LAST NIGHT WITH ONE CYCLE OF THE MACHINE. Kiddie brand fire alarm about a year old
