Ipswich 1-1 Liverpool 1977-78 (Dalglish cracker)

Thanks to FootballGaffesGalore and djm151071 for their help with uploading this video, which sees league champions Liverpool travel to Portman Road in September 1977. The Reds knew that this would be no easy game - Bobby Robson's Ipswich had finished third the season before and indeed had led the way in the First Division with just six games left. Barry Davies is the commentator.

I was at this match as a Liverpool fan and remember Liverpool going ahead before town equalised

I thought the same !!!??? What.... my first ever match at Portman road I to was then a Liverpool .fan but not long after that I pulled on the blue n white of Ipswich Town ..

This was the first match I ever attended. The video must be faulty because in my mind the ball took at least 5 seconds to hit the back of the net after it left Dalglish’s boot 😂
