I shoot the Land shark 165 grain on full length 400 spine Deep Impact arrows with 56 grain outserts. Launched from the 52 lb. Black Widow PMA Recurve @180 fps. I have a 32" draw.
Very sound advice sir! A lot of bowhunters should take heed. I've shot a few truck loads of deer with the Simmons Land Sharks 165gr. Still have 4 of the original 6 that I bought from Jerry Simmons years ago as well as a couple of dozen bought from Dave. Out of all the deer shot with these heads only 2 ever made it out of my sight. One of those was a mature buck I shot slightly quartering to. The broadhead destroyed the on side shoulder and lodged in the off-side lower shoulder/leg. He went almost 100yds spraying blood elsewhere. He's also the only deer that I did not get a complete pass thru on. Other than the one other deer that made it out of sight, all fell within 40yds. A tuned bow and a tuned arrow tipped with a Simmons Head is a wicked combination! Great Video sir, good hunting!
Thank you very much Scott. I appreciate it. My God continue to bless you and keep you safe this season. There will be more videos coming in the future. I own 3 businesses and would love to make these videos my 4th. Just don’t have a lot of time on my hands. Please like, share, & subscribe.
I love Simmons sharks. The head, the company, and the owner are amazing. Best customer service and product hands down. Thanks for watching. God bless and happy hunting.
I would love to see the wound channels for that tree shark. I bought some several years ago, and only got them tuned to my bow this year. If I can sharpen them up, I may take one into the woods, but penetration is more important than wound channel to me. Still, I’ve heard they are devastating and would like to see what they do out of a compound. Please share? 🥺
Go to Simmonssharks.com. They have tons of pics. Also google Simmons broadhead wound Chanel pics. There is a whole bunch on there. The Treeshark looks like you hit them with a broad axe.
Why dont you use a 100 grain weight adapter from 3riversarchery to make the mako 200 grain? I shoot 250-400 grain heads out of my tradbows depending on my arrow spine. Be awesome if they offered single bevel sharks
Hey big buck hunter. I was just wondering what part of Indiana are you from? I’m from southern Indiana. The small town if you know what I’m talking about that will tell you exactly where.

As a traditional only hunter, my go to broadheads are the Tree Sharks and Timber Sharks. They are backed with either a 100 gn or a 150 gn insert.
SMART MAN...... been shoting them since 1990....never los r a deer....wish the still had the bleeder blades in them

So true. Did you see my last video. Shot an 8 point and a coyote with the same arrow and head.

@kevinemard5370. You can special order single bevel if you want them. But you have to buy 6 at a time

Sorry for the late response. For some reason UA-cam isn’t showing me every time someone comments. I’m between scottsburg and paoli

They all shoot good no matter what bow you shoot
