No joke! I mean, lots of movies are like two hours long, but this has four hours of endings alone. Given that a lot is repeated, but there must've been so much to do here. It took like four years to make, but dang, they did it well.

You know those games that leave you with a "What if" kinda feeling when you play them? Well this one took EVERY SINGLE RESULT POSSIBLE and developed each one of them. I cannot even imagine how complicated it was for the creators.
Gatubraz not really. It depends only in two situations and only just by DOING NOTHING. If you do nothing on the Canadian border and after the border guard see the news, he will make his choice. But you have two other other options to safe Kara and Alice. One option is bad for Luther. The 2nd time it depends to Markus‘ choice is in the recycling camp, also if Kara does nothing. I think this time she can survive by doing nothing only if Marcus make the revolution, the violent way. But there are many more options to survive without Markus. On the river for example Marcus doesn’t affect her life or death in no way. Just look the video and check all the possibilities.

All the people who been slaughtered in the 2nd worldwar where they stripped off their clothes and get burned/shot/etc etc. by hitlers soldier (Like at the android camps) The refugees who flew with boats to get across the border (mexico,syria etc..) and either they sink into death or get shot by border control (alice kara luther crossing the border with boat) Many references of martin luther ling and ghandi at marcus' playthroughs. QD and David cage did a masterpiece with detroit but there will be still people who underrate it because of "its just a game" or bashing on david cage for some reason..

I literally tried my best to get a good ending without cheating and looking online for choices. I got markus to be leader, got north to be 'lover', peaceful protest, saved Ralph, Conner never died, all robots released and saved, won rights, and YET FOR SOME EASON I HIT THE WRONG BUTTON ESCAPING THE CAMP AND ALICE AND KARA DIED LIKE I SPENT 10 HOURS ON THIS DONT DO ME LIKE THIS

The saddest thing to know is that in some point, in some type of "reality", Connor had no attachment to Hank. To know that he would kill Hank without hesitate. To acknowledge that he was just a machine, a cold-blooded machine. I cried.
It honestly makes me sick to my stomach that I used to think Telltale Games had choices that impact the world around you. They preach their concept but don’t have jack shit on Quantic Dream.
To be precise: 6 years, 8 if you count the concept period, 2000-3000 pages of script - 250 actors, 513 roles, 180 staff members to work on it for that long.
Something about the androids deactivating their skin, really hurts my heart. It's almost like they're stripped of any human rights... And then Markus does it willingly, and in rebellion. 😮
Austin Bosh Ya there is one ending where the guy that made the androids mentions how they will never be truly alive and that is true. We just develop empathy for them because they look and act like humans.
Remote control, that's true. You know technology has gone too far when it can suddenly think and act for itself and have emotions ontop of that. As shown in the dirty bomb ending they can be a threat to us.
To be frank, this would have either been longer had it actually included some of the fails you can get earlier in the game(which are mini-endings which can chain to result in the endings shown, except a handful which are actual endings in and of themselves and separate from the ones shown in the video), or shorter by about an hour if the creator had cut corners and only showed what was absolutely necessary to highlight the endings.
That was in but Luther and Alice died in mine after the boat and then Kara survived but the ending was ruined cause the best character (Luther) got shot

It's because we connect more with Kara, Alice and Luther because we know that things like what they went through ( without all the android part, obviously ) happens all the time, and most of the time they have a bad ending.
its also due to the fact that she has the least amount of power and influence compared to connor and markus who are affiliated with groups and have information, kara truly is just another human in terms of that and there's nothing much she can really do its so sad
I knew that attacking wouldn't be the answer! It doesn't matter if Kara and Alice are innocent or not, if the border control looks at the news and it shows androids as a threat. The game promotes a pacifist attitude all along, it just gives you many chances to change your mind. 😮

I've noticed that every choice depends on markus and connor...connor has to choice to stop markus and kara...and once markus becomes a freedom fighter he has the choices that could put kara and alice in danger as well...i love how those 2 characters choices revolve around kara

I’m bored, so...thinking only about this data and thinking they would add more hours exponentially, we could think of either +24, +32 or +64 hours: (I’m gonna put heavy rain as 30min to make this easier to measure, add an hour or two to the final results). 30 min > 1h (30 min x2) > 4h (1h x4) > 24h (4h x6), 32h (4h x8) or 64h (4h x16). X6 because X is adding the number from behind. X8 is thinking that x+x=x’ X16 would be (x)(x)=x’
Kara and Alices story really is the most emotional and heartbreaking one of them all. Their bond is just so real and the backstory just makes it even more touching. Honestly Kara doesn’t receive the credit she’s due😭🙈
spent 9hrs watching the entire game in the good ending route, time to devote my time spending 4hrs more jesus christ major props to the creators, they spent time making each and every choice count, this is such a detailed game and i’m really impressed at how good it did on simulating reality. really tho, i get a headache on just trying to make 7 endings work based on your choices and this one has 99, and that’s not even all of it. this game had way too much effort placed on it.
I had a shitty ending the first time I played it but the second time I played it I loved my ending when the Androids took over Detroit and everyone survived including Connor, Markus and Kara. Fuck the human race! Needless to say I am unhappy to sell this game after finishing it twice :(

My first ending. Kara, Alice and Luther made it across the border without sacrifice. Leaving me forever wondering if Jerry ever made it. Connor led the Androids out of the Cyberlife tower Markus led a peaceful demonstration and at the end looked at North, looked at the soldiers .. went "Whatever" and detonated the Dirty Bomb. XD
My first ending (because everyone else is saying theirs): Kara, Alice, and Luther sneak out the camp and reunite in that scrap yard. Connor gets shot to death once the elevator door opens. Markus keeps peace and stays in command. Markus and the other androids sing and win equal rights.
So um, my endings are: 1st Playthrough (Mess of An Ending): Connor: Becomes Deviant and help Markus by converting the other androids in the Cyberlife Warehouses. Markus: Leads a successful Revolution, despite wanting to have a Pacifist movement. Josh and Simon are killed during the attack on Recall Center No. 5 and both Markus and North have a romantic relationship. Kara: Luther dies during the "Midnight Train" Chapter, Kara and Alice make it to Border Control, Jerry sacrifices himself to save Kara and Alice, who cross the border. 2nd Playthrough (Perfect Ending): No major character and side character deaths, Connor becomes deviant and Markus leads a successful Pacifist Movement, he and North get together and Luther, Kara and Alice make it across the border without any casualties. 3rd Playthrough (Tragic Ending): Connor: Starts as a machine and remains a machine. He is a decieving character, who acts friendly, but always accomplishes his mission. However, he can't bring himself to kill Hank, but he kills Markus during the final boss fight. Connor accomplishes his mission. Markus: Leads an all-out war against humanity after Carl is killed by Leo, but dies at the fight at Recall Center No. 5. Simon and Josh die, and North leads the revolution, but the revolution fails nonetheless. Kara: Kara's dark side shows during the early game by killing Todd and robbing the cashier and the man asleep in the laundromat. Kara, Luther and Alice make it to the checkpoint, but Kara sacrifices herself to save Luther and Alice, despite her promises to Alice that they'll be together.
Best ending: all androids are peaceful, feel emotions, human unemployment rate is going down, as androids are like co-workers. Androids are able to drink so hank and conner can have a fun time at jimmys bar, Markus and north are married, josh is companion, simon is companion. Todd confesses and is very nice to kara alice and luther. The group keeps everyone they know alive. (Except zlatko cuz hes a bi-) Absolutely no segregation between androids and humans. Global warming was controlled and scientists are working on making everyone the perfect temperature, all wildlife has been gathered from another planet and are now being repopulated, anyone who hunts animals will be scentenced to life in prison. All world problems are solved and humans and androids live in harmony and peace This cant actually happen but i wish it could
not "who" is the question IMHO, as a lot of androids became deviant on their own (see Jericho). it is in their software or even hardwired in the hardware itself, by Kamski's design perhaps
I know their choices didn't really matter in the long run but comparing their games to this masterpiece is pretty unfair considering the fact that Telltale's games had only a few months for development while this one took more than 6 years to make. They are dratiscally different in terms of production. Besides, Telltale did try to step up a bit in recent games.

One that's not at the end but could be considered an ending is when Alice and Kara run away from Connor across the highway (happens if you sleep in the hotel/abandoned house and get caught). If you miss all the buttons, Alice and Kara get killed my the cars, and their story ends

The Endings alone were 4.5 hours. I can't imagine doing so many playthroughs. Like, I've never played the game, myself, but I like watching others play on UA-cam. Wonder if they ever got close and then screwed up, needing to go back a while... Also, I wonder if watching a bunch of these are still super emotional or if it wears off after while.
There are much more endings for Kara. The ones I can remember and weren't shown are becoming Zlatko's slave and dying at the very begging (just for example, I think there are more)

Luther is just too precious. Seeing him die is just too sad. Him, Kara, and Alice have all been through too much, they deserve to be free. Not having the trio make it together just doesn’t feel right. They make such a cute little family.
Yes it does because it's the end for them. Unlike Conner, Alice & Cara can only be killed once. So technically it can be considered an ending because it's the end for Cara and Alice

Gatubraz not really. It depends only in two situations and only just by DOING NOTHING. If you do nothing on the Canadian border and after the border guard see the news, he will make his choice. But you have two other other options to safe Kara and Alice. One option is bad for Luther. The 2nd time it depends to Markus‘ choice is in the recycling camp, also if Kara does nothing. I think this time she can survive by doing nothing only if Marcus make the revolution, the violent way. But there are many more options to survive without Markus. On the river for example Marcus doesn’t affect her life or death in no way. Just look the video and check all the possibilities.

To be frank, this would have either been longer had it actually included some of the fails you can get earlier in the game(which are mini-endings which can chain to result in the endings shown, except a handful which are actual endings in and of themselves and separate from the ones shown in the video), or shorter by about an hour if the creator had cut corners and only showed what was absolutely necessary to highlight the endings.

It's because we connect more with Kara, Alice and Luther because we know that things like what they went through ( without all the android part, obviously ) happens all the time, and most of the time they have a bad ending.
its also due to the fact that she has the least amount of power and influence compared to connor and markus who are affiliated with groups and have information, kara truly is just another human in terms of that and there's nothing much she can really do its so sad

Kara and Alices story really is the most emotional and heartbreaking one of them all. Their bond is just so real and the backstory just makes it even more touching. Honestly Kara doesn’t receive the credit she’s due😭🙈

major props to the creators, they spent time making each and every choice count, this is such a detailed game and i’m really impressed at how good it did on simulating reality. really tho, i get a headache on just trying to make 7 endings work based on your choices and this one has 99, and that’s not even all of it. this game had way too much effort placed on it.

Markus: Leads a successful Revolution, despite wanting to have a Pacifist movement. Josh and Simon are killed during the attack on Recall Center No. 5 and both Markus and North have a romantic relationship.
Kara: Luther dies during the "Midnight Train" Chapter, Kara and Alice make it to Border Control, Jerry sacrifices himself to save Kara and Alice, who cross the border.
2nd Playthrough (Perfect Ending):
No major character and side character deaths, Connor becomes deviant and Markus leads a successful Pacifist Movement, he and North get together and Luther, Kara and Alice make it across the border without any casualties.
3rd Playthrough (Tragic Ending):
Connor: Starts as a machine and remains a machine. He is a decieving character, who acts friendly, but always accomplishes his mission. However, he can't bring himself to kill Hank, but he kills Markus during the final boss fight. Connor accomplishes his mission.
Markus: Leads an all-out war against humanity after Carl is killed by Leo, but dies at the fight at Recall Center No. 5. Simon and Josh die, and North leads the revolution, but the revolution fails nonetheless.
Kara: Kara's dark side shows during the early game by killing Todd and robbing the cashier and the man asleep in the laundromat. Kara, Luther and Alice make it to the checkpoint, but Kara sacrifices herself to save Luther and Alice, despite her promises to Alice that they'll be together.
my first play through would’ve been the same as yours but i wanted to keep luther alive 😭 so i restarted one of the chapters to save him
Best Ending:
Everything was only a dream.
Best ending: all androids are peaceful, feel emotions, human unemployment rate is going down, as androids are like co-workers.
Androids are able to drink so hank and conner can have a fun time at jimmys bar, Markus and north are married, josh is companion, simon is companion.
Todd confesses and is very nice to kara alice and luther.
The group keeps everyone they know alive. (Except zlatko cuz hes a bi-)

not "who" is the question IMHO, as a lot of androids became deviant on their own (see Jericho). it is in their software or even hardwired in the hardware itself, by Kamski's design perhaps

I know their choices didn't really matter in the long run but comparing their games to this masterpiece is pretty unfair considering the fact that Telltale's games had only a few months for development while this one took more than 6 years to make. They are dratiscally different in terms of production.
Besides, Telltale did try to step up a bit in recent games.

You forgot a few endings from what I can see
For Kara:
- dying in crossroads
- All the Zlatko’s endings (being a slave, dying)
- Getting hit by a car with Kara/Alice
- Kara/Alice dying at Todd’s
For Marcus:
- Dying in the freedom march (qte fails, sacrifice)
- Dying in crossroads
I’m sure there’s some way Connor can die early as well
One that's not at the end but could be considered an ending is when Alice and Kara run away from Connor across the highway (happens if you sleep in the hotel/abandoned house and get caught). If you miss all the buttons, Alice and Kara get killed my the cars, and their story ends

The Endings alone were 4.5 hours. I can't imagine doing so many playthroughs. Like, I've never played the game, myself, but I like watching others play on UA-cam. Wonder if they ever got close and then screwed up, needing to go back a while... Also, I wonder if watching a bunch of these are still super emotional or if it wears off after while.

There are much more endings for Kara. The ones I can remember and weren't shown are becoming Zlatko's slave and dying at the very begging (just for example, I think there are more)
I tried not to because some of them don't actually conclude to the game's actual endings. They're more like character deaths in the middle of the game, which something I'll have uploaded soon.

I loved when Markus wins the revolution! So badass, wins a huge battle and gets the girl. Then begins to lead an army
Luther is just too precious. Seeing him die is just too sad. Him, Kara, and Alice have all been through too much, they deserve to be free. Not having the trio make it together just doesn’t feel right. They make such a cute little family.

Yes it does because it's the end for them. Unlike Conner, Alice & Cara can only be killed once. So technically it can be considered an ending because it's the end for Cara and Alice
