Awesome setup! Makes me want to get back into scentwork and finish Ruby's titles 🥰 She is just one trial away from her SWN

You put my system to shame. Awesome ideas!!!! I have some questions and may have more after I rewatch. First, the used tin....are we supposed to wash those? Or simply reuse them with the same scent? Second, the tweezer....do we wash it or just reuse. I'm sure I will have more questions if I rewatch.

I do wash my tins after a few uses because they get gross with the dogs touching them. I don't wash my tweezers but they also don't come into contact with anything but the storage container and gloved hands.

This is really great, thank you! I'm a beginner and have been looking all over for something just like this. Do you think you could do a demo on all the "pre-search" + "post-search"steps? Like literally everything you would do before cueing your dog to search (put on gloves, take out loaded vessel, attach to container, etc). I get so mixed up on how to handle and store things before and after our actual sessions. Do you just toss loaded straws away? or store in jars? stuff like that...

I'm not a trainer, so I don't want to put out too much "advice" on how to do things. What I have learned personally is that you don't need to be near as careful as you probably think you do. I'm careful and I wear gloves but I'm not like bomb dog technical about it. I do throw the straws and tips away after a session. I prefer to throw them out it our outside trash bins because I don't want the odor in the house trash bin.
