Each time I watch this series, I feel worse and worse for Boots, yet I applaud him. He literally looks like the physical embodiment of clinical depression. He’s been through it all before Dora had, he looks like he doesn’t care about the shit that happens to him, but he stays so that Dora won’t be alone. He could’ve left so he had less shit to put up with but because he cares for her so much, he stays no matter how bad things get for the two of them. Hopefully there’ll be an episode where she wakes up to the fact that what she’s doing is making this poor monkey miserable.
